Dr. David Lecompte Ross

Before actually getting this shot, it would have been nice to be told at the initial meeting what all blood tests, information, dental clearances, etc I would have needed before I could receive my first shot. Instead I had to make several appointments and cancel several appointments because I was not given this info from the start. I do not hold the doctor responsible, since I only met him at the time I was to get my shot, it is more complaints with the office staff between two offices in Brevard county, and relaying info amongst the different office staff.

Have never had cancer before so not knowing how I am suppose to feel...experience...or understand about it has been one of most trying battle...Dr Ross has listened to my questions from silly to sane without flinching or making me feel stupid...even when my wig stayed behind when I got up to get off the table he was very quiet and compassionate until my husband and I cracked up then so did he...very satisfied with my care and the concern he has shown...

Dr. Ross shows his care of patients by his manner and the way he truly cares about his patients.

I have been seeing Dr. Ross for my breast cancer for going on a year now. I thank God for sending me to Dr. Ross. I can happily say that I am cancer free! But only after 6 months of chemotherapy combined with immunotherapy that he designed around my specific cancer and special health needs. And during all this time, he made himself available to me at any time to help me deal with all the horrible side effects that can come with chemotherapy. I am forever grateful for his knowledge, professionalism, and compassion.

Dr Ross and the staff are incredibly caring and accommodating. It was also very obvious that Dr Ross had read my file that had been forwarded to the center. I was really impressed and definitely felt like my best interests were front and center. I would definitely recommend him to anyone dealing with cancer. I recently went through a 3-month course of chemo for bladder cancer. I found Dr Ross to be engaged, personable, available and committed to delivering the best possible treatment for my situation. The staff at the Rockledge center are top-notch. They make a chemo session as stress-free as they possibly can. I am happy to recommend this facility without reservation.

Dr Ross is the oncologist I recommend to anyone I meet in the community.

He has kept me informed of what options I should be thinking about and has given me time to make my choices. I have been cleared to live my life free of medicines but still need to make sure I keep an eye on what I need to do to keep walking toward the 10 year goal of "Cancer Free".

Dr Ross as well as Dr Kate have a special way of intellect that . When they speak to me,I don't feel rushed or have misunderstandings. They remember I'm human and have Chemo Brain, LOL.

Newly diagnosed with elevated platelets in early 2022, I felt discouraged with the treatment I was receiving. Friend recommended me to get a second opinion with Dr Ross. On the first visit I was impressed that he listened to my concerns and ordered extensive lab test. While going over lab test he explained the results in such a way I could understand. He was easy to talk to and I never felt rushed. He cares! Second opinion did pay off for me!!!

Since the beginning of my care Dr Ross has taken time to listen to me and to explain what was going on can’t say thank you enough.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ross since 2013. He has always provided insight to my condition and how to address the situation currently and considerations to make for the future. He is personable and considerate when delivering test report news. I highly recommend him Aas a physician.

I've been going to Dr. Ross for a few years now. I go to Moffitt in Tampa and get my chemo locally with Dr. Ross. He works well with my Moffitt oncologist which I appreciate and he doesn't mind that I use Moffitt for decision making, surgeries, & CT scans. Dr. Ross always listens well, addresses my side effects, and spends adequate time with me at my appointments. The nurses in the chemo center are also very sweet and attentive even though I'm always in a bad mood when getting chemo. The office is very clean and nice, but very busy so sometimes the wait can be long. I definitely recommend Dr. Ross. He's a good doc and if I need something, I know I can count on him! Very efficient and professional Doctor and staff. They have been attentive to my concerns and flexible with scheduling. Jerry Soltis Retired Army Officer, 100% Combat Disabled for Agent Orange cancer.

I am seeing Dr. Ross for breast cancer treatment. I am very pleased with his treatment plan. He provides detailed information on your diagnosis and treatment plan and takes time to answer all of your questions. I feel very comfortable with him and his staff is wonderful as well.

Lab work and follow up appointments with Dr. Ross. The appointment went well. Met with another staff member. She reviewed my lab results. The results were excellent.

All of my appointments with Dr. Ross have been wonderful. He is a very kind and friendly physician. He speaks “to me” not at me. He explains all reports and discusses potential treatment plans. His staff is always efficient and kind. I actually look forward to seeing Dr. Ross…I always leave feeling better than when I arrived!

My wife was with me and we concurred on beginning chemotherapy this month. I have been impressed not only by Dr. Ross but also the rest of his team. Nurse Jeanette did a great job preparing me with a chemo education meeting and Nurse Becky was very caring and professional when I completed my first chemo session.

Dr. Ross is my oncologist for chemotherapy for breast cancer. He is very kind and gentle and makes me feel he truly cares about my health and any problems occurring with the chemotherapy. He has sat with me and answered my questions, my fears and has enabled me to be SO confident that this treatment is worth it to help heal me so that this cancer will not come back. He has a wonderful bedside manner and never seems to rush you in and out of his presence. He is a gift from God to my life and I am so thankful! His administrative staff and ALL his nurses are so nice and kind and even funny! I feel like I have had the BEST care and so blessed!

Visit was for evaluation of blood clotting problem. Problem narrowed down and referral made to Dr. who specializes in this problem.

Doctor Ross has been my hematologist for many years. He, and his staff, have been instrumental in helping me to manage and heal from a number of blood-related issues. I highly recommend David Ross, and the team at the Cancer Care Center of Brevard.

From my first visit on Dr. Ross takes his time with his patients and makes sure he covers all my concerns before our apt is over. I never leave feeling like I forgot to go over something with him. Explained all my steps of treatment and continues to be one of the best Dr.’s I could ask for going through Cancer abs Chemo.. Also his staff is awesome at setting apts that fit our schedules, scheduling chemo apts, to the nurses who take care of us during our chemo treatments. You all are Rock Stars in my book..

This man is INCOMPETENT. He denied painkillers to my mother who was a late-stage cancer patient. I had to take her to the emergency room to get some pain pills and she had to sit there for hours in extreme pain waiting for medicine his office refused to give her.

I waited two days before posting giving me a chance to cool down, It didn't work. The good doctor could be the best in the area but what good is a great doctor if you can't get a hold of him or the office staff when the situation arises? Case in point, early Friday afternoon. Wife needs a detailed mammogram at a diagnostic clinic. Request was sent Wednesday afternoon for a stat appointment. Called clinic to be told no orders were faxed over. Problem #1. Called the good doctor's office. Placed on hold for 18 min. Hung up and called again figuring I messed up the selection of who to talk to. Placed on hold for another 15 min. Hung up and tried again this time 38 min and finally reached a live person. They sent another fax. Called clinic only to be told they weren't doing STAT or any mammograms for two weeks. Called the good doctor again. Kept me on hold for over two hours yes I stayed on the phone for over two hours. . The procedure is important or I wouldn't have been trying so hard. Finally hung up and dialed again only to be told that I've contacted the after hours answering service. The office staff left me on hold and went home. I get better service at McDonald's drive thru. They screw up the order but at least I can talk to someone. This is totally unsatisfactory. I waited two days before posting giving me a chance to cool down, It didn't work. Doctor and all staff very professional.. They explain everything and glad to answer all questions. Only problem I found is a long wait. Waiting room so full not enough chairs for all patient's. Need to work on their scheduling and provide more chairs in waiting room.

I had a 1PM appointment and showed up at 12:30PM. I waited till 1:30 and still no one called me. I went to the receptionist and she said it will be soon. At 2PM I was still waiting and said that I was going to leave. Finally they brought me back to a room. The lady insisted I arrived at 1:08 and that I was late. I found my form that I filled out and it said 12:30. After another long wait some lady came in and said Dr. Ross was on vacation. No one notified me of this in advance. She handed me my blood results and left. Then another person came in and gave me my Shot. I asked to see a Dr. to go over my blood results and they said I would have to make another appointment to see Dr. Ross. It seems to me the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. I called Dr. Choppra and he set me up with another Doctor. Enough with this place!

I've only seen Dr. Ross twice but he seems very knowledgable and kind. His office staff and prescription provider are very efficient and helpful.

This man is INCOMPETENT. My mother was a late stage cancer patient and she ran out of pain pills. I went with her to dr. Ross's office and they told her they could not give her any more pain pills so we had to go to the emergency room to get some. My mother sat in the emergency room for hours waiting for painkillers...sitting in extreme pain because doctor Ross's office would not give them to her. If you care about your health, find another doctor.

I would like to express my thoughts this is the best places that I have been to that has taken my health seriously and did something about it.. I want to thank everyone that works there and going the extra time with me. It's nice to come here I also feel very at ease when I come in. Ginny longwell

I actually love Dr. Ross. I actually go to Moffitt in Tampa, but Dr. Ross is my local oncologist. He's very easy to talk to, he listens to me, & he does his best to manage my side effects from chemo. Highly recommend.

Staff lost referral and argued over phone as tried to schedule initial appointment. Had to go in person to even be spoken to. When I went to get results I had to go several times in order to receive what I actually needed. Miserable experience in a scary time.

I am very pleased how Dr. Ross handled my case and made the kind of referral which allowed me to get treatment from Dr. Bruce Haughey in Celebration, Florida. I will be leaving tomorrow morning at 4:00 AM for the removal of that spot on my face by Dr. Haughey. at the Celebration Hospital.

Horrible. Dr Ross mansplained my condition, (was incorrect) incredibly rude and has awful bedside manner. A truly awful person.

I saw Dr. Ross, Hemotolgist, and am quite impressed. He is always very cordial and attentive to me and my problems. He was able to correct my problem, and whenever I need him or his PA they see me right away! His PA is extremely knowledgeable and she is super nice.. His staff is above and beyond efficient and friendly.
