A very long time ago my wife and I were patient’s of Dr Ashie. We both stopped going because of the excessive amount of time wasted waiting to be seen. Sometimes as much as two hours past your appointment time, and things haven’t changed at all on the time wasted waiting. We have moved on to a new Dr that gives you an appointment time where you may wait 15 minutes or so. My mother still sees Dr Ashie and can’t always drive herself, so I still play the waiting game when taking her to her appointment’s at his office. I’ve asked my mother to find another Dr but she say’s that she has been going to him for too long now and she’s too old to find another Dr. Please Dr Ashie find a solution to the wasted time that your patients lose waiting on there appointment’s to see you.

The Doctor is Nice. But you will have to wait an hour after your appointment time to see him. And his staff is so rude and disrespectful, that you will think twice about going back. I'm not sure if he's aware of this problem. But if he doesn't fix it, he's gonna lose a lot of his patients.

He was very thorough and shows that really care about his patients

My family has been going to this practice for almost 2 decades and since then the office has taken a sharp down turn in service and care provided over the last three years. The staff are very difficult to get anything done with you and you have to harass them to fax paperwork to other offices or to pharmacies for prescriptions. The stand in doctor is very rude to patients and disrespectful over the phone trying to talk over you and yell on the phone at you. It's anything but an office of medical professionals anymore. Dr. Ashie is a wonderful doctor. He is intelligent and knows the medical field very well. He deeply cares for his patients and their health. He spends the allowable time that he can with his patients.

Dr Ashie is very professional and knowledgeable. I wish I had met him earlier. I’ll recommend him any day. Thank me later.

He is a phenomenal Doctor. Love his dedication to his job. Would recommend him as a doctor in a heartbeat. The only flaw is his office staff. Very unorganized, very unreliable and they blame the doctor for their shortcomings. So sad, but I'm sure it will get better, so I stay. He is the best doctor I've had in 50 years :)

We were in the process of shopping for a new primary because the previous one had moved out of the area. After asking around, our neighbor suggested that we make an appointment to see hers and we did. Both of my mothers were seen on the same day at different times by Dr. Ashie and they were very happy! They reported that they appreciated his calmness and that he didn't seem rushed, which you sometimes sense while visiting physicians. He spent some time with them as new patients. And for elders close to 80-years-old each, they found that impressive. Upon arrival, Latrice, one of the nurses, set a very positive tone. It made such a difference, because situations at times, can be depressing and morbid as it relates to doctors' visits. Latrice was very helpful, professional and most of all, genuinely welcoming. From beginning to scheduling the follow-up appointments, we were pleased. I can't say with all certainty that this is how service is usually rendered on a daily basis in this office to current patients and new-comers. Nonetheless, I'm reporting that today was a very good day and if my parents liked it, then I love it! Professional and knowledgeable!

The Dr is very nice and knowledgeable. His staff to include the office manager do not perform their jobs well. The main reason I have a doctor is to get my medications refilled. Getting my meds refilled was a nightmare. I had to wait six weeks one time and then four weeks a second time in which I had a gap in my medications. When I spoke with the office staff and manager they all stated that the prescriptions and pre approvals were sent to my drug store. That was false. I called many ties to clear this up and was always told it was taken care of. It was not. Then instead of speaking with me they stopped answering the office phone. I would not recommend this doctor because of the horrible staff he has. If it’s important to get your medications refilled on time, look elsewhere. The Dr is very nice and knowledgeable. Good Dr.

Dr Ashie has always been accommodating. He answers all my questions

Dr. Ashie was on call for my Dr. during Christmas vacation. He was very thorough and treated me as if I was his patient. If you are looking for a Dr. I would highly recommend Dr. Ashie.

Dr. Ashie was mine and my sons' primary care provider and I have yet to find a doctor as attentive and caring since leaving Brevard County. That's true all the way to Los Angeles to the Columbia Gorge where I now live. Hey Dr. Ashie move to the Columbia Gorge so I can have a wonderful doctor again!!!

Possibly the worse doctor I ever had the misfortune to deal with, ever. The wait times are ridiculous and he will nickel and dime your insurance by making you come back multiple times for each reason you had and not wanting to address the two issues you may have right then and there, he will tell you that he will deal with it during your pretty much unneeded next appointment. My last appointment I had at 1 PM, I didnt see the doctor until right before they shut the office down and I left as they were locking the doors. Pathetic. I also had to go to another doctor to get my biopsy results because no one would return my calls or tell me the results of my skin cancer biopsy, just how???! Doctor I went to had to call and fax to get my results, never got a call from Ashie. Feels like you are getting back alley care in a worthless third world country, this is America for christs sakes. I have been a patient here for about 2 years. I couldn't be more satisfied with the level of care that I've received, both from Doctor Ashie and Gloria Johns, as well as the staff. Both doctors devote as much time as needed to each patient and are extremely thorough as well as caring. It's difficult now days to find a doctor that is as caring and thorough as they are in this office. I'm very grateful for them! I have been a patient here for about 2 years. Waiting on a death certificate which he needs to sign off on, but refuses because the original date was wrong and he will not sign the new form with the correct date initiated. The mortician and doctor are one block apart!!! You think it would be an easy fix...

Very smart and wonderful doctor. However expect to spend alot of time at his office. Mo matter how busy they are, it is atleast a one hour wait from the scheduled appointment time just to get in the back to be triaged. I know that some doctors schedule 2-3 people per appointment time, however even when there is no back up amd no one in the waiting room, it is still a one hour wait after your appointment time just to see the doctors. If it wasnt fo the waiting time at each appointment I would happily have given 5 stars. Also since originally wrote this, I am not seeing this doctor anymore. He was very rude at the end and he was my only Dr and I received my medication from him and when I went to the hospital I had something come up in my urine which I found out was a false positive from something else that I had been given and the doctor would not hear a word I had to say, and didn't care what I had to say. So he stopped all of my medications, and force me to go into very serious withdrawals. I had very serious things going on in the hospital, and instead of finding out why this happened and also worrying about why I was having these issues while I was in the hospital , he instead as I said cancelled all my medications and made me suffer immensely in horrible physical withdrawals from the medications that were prescribed from him he just absolutely did not care and I hate had to leave the hospital just so I could go home and get the medications I need it and he actually just charge me from the practice for leaving the hospital but I could not lay there and suffer more than I was already suffering from the issues that was causing me to be in the hospital so I will never attempt to see him ever again, or recommend him to anybody else. I worked in the medical field is a nurse for over 20 years. Dr Ashie is by far one of the smartest doctors I’ve ever met. Not only is he smart he has compassion and takes the time to listen to this patients .If you have something going on you make sure he gets to the bottom of it and find the answer not just prescribing 100 different kinds of medications. There’s all new office staff and they’re all very accommodating. It’s true there is a wait time when you go there so be prepared but if you’re looking for a really good doctor then it’s well worth the wait. Dr. Ashie is knowledgeable, intelligent, and most of all kind. He takes a deep interest in his patients and views the whole patient, not just a symptom here and an ailment there. Sometimes you have to wait because the patient before you needed a bit more time. But you are assured that you will get that extra time when you need it.

Dr. Ashie diagnosed my sister with bronchitis and 30 hours and 5 calls to his office later, he still hasn't called in her antibiotic. Staff said he hadn't called in any prescriptions from yesterday yet. Drug store says he does this on a regular basis! How is he still practicing medicine? Wait time yesterday was over 4 hours just to see him and get THIS "HELP". Filing a complaint with the medical board tomorrow.

INCREDIBLY smart man. He is very personable.While the wait is often very long, it is completely worth it. He spends time with his patients & even comes to see you at the hospital often. Very thorough doctor.

Very hard to reach. Hard to believe that in today's age that a medical practice would not have better communication options. Fax is non-existent. Hope I never have an emergency and need to call them for help.

When I first started going to him he was very attentive and caring, that was 14 years ago! The last couple of years have been very different. The office staff have been difficult (new people) to work with, and Dr seems to spend to much time on the computer instead of listening and talking to me. Test results are being lost from the hospital and I am having to reschedule appointments to get results which is totally unnecessary. Sadly I will have to look for a new Doctor!

Very caring and sincere with his patients. Since my very first visit I knew that Dr Ashie was going to become my primary Dr. I have invited my family and so far 9 people that I know haveade this office their own. Excellent care if you need a Dr. Try him for yourself you won't be disappointed
