I recently had a visit with Dr, McKnight as a new patient. I did find his demeanor friendly enough but, I felt like he did not care about me as a patient. I felt like the concerns I did have were dismissed. The worst part was my annual exam. He used NO lubricant and was scraping my insides extremely hard. I've never had bleeding after a pelvic exam until this last visit, I was uncomfortable and cramping later that day. I don't think I can ever go back to him.

I have had two experiences with this doctor when he was on call during my pregnancy. The first time I had spotting and he treated me like I was an idiot for calling and dismissed me. The second time my blood sugar was 39 which I saw from my labs which explained my symptoms (37 weeks pregnant) and I asked why my blood sugar would have dropped so low considering I had eaten? I was tachycardic and had elevated BP and I was shaky/fatigued. It was scary and I was concerned. He told me “maybe you were just really hungry.... that was drawn hours ago and you’re fine”. He was dismissive and sounded incompetent. He offered zero reassurance or knowledge on the situation. Luckily I will be following up with my normal OB on Monday. He seems so annoyed with pregnant women. Not sure why he would have chosen this specialty. I would NEVER let him in my delivery room.

First time seeing Dr McKnight and I regret not finding him years before. He made me feel very comfortable. Visit was a breeze!

He has horrible listening skills. Does not care about the patient, treats pregnant women like they are irrelevant (he acts entirely as though his patient is the fetus, and not the WOMAN sitting in front of him) . Condescending. Would never recommend to another pregnant woman. This Dr is the entire reason that I chose not to go back to Paragon for this pregnancy.

This dr is a terrible communicator. He doesn't listen and doesn't talk, doesn't provide any explanations, recommendations, or next steps. You have to ask him all the questions, to which he gives cryptic indirect answers. The only thing he is good at is billing and recommending unnecessary procedures. I wouldn't recommend this practitioner to anyone and needless to say I wouldn't be back.

He handled a very difficult situation involving a STD very kindly and diplomatically. I love him!! I asked for a woman, but couldn’t wait to see one. I’m sold that a man can be equally sensitive and professional. I felt safe and respected.

He really listens, which is rare for many doctors! He is knowledgeable, offers options and information, lets the patient decide what direction to take things. Great at building rapport and has great bedside manner. Makes you feel like a human! I hate leaving good reviews because I don't want everyone else to find him, but I'm so glad to have found him. Highly recommend him.
