Great doctor, but horrible waiting time. My son had an apt we got there 15mins before his apt and 45mins go by and no call. The waiting was normal when we got there, everyone was called before us , the took every other client after we checked in. I checked in with the nurse and she told me my son was next on the chart. Seven clients later and were still waiting, while the nurses are laughing . It's been over 1hr. And 45mins and they called us. What a disappointment !!!! Great doctor, but horrible waiting time. First doctors appointments done with two of my kids. He was great! Hopped up on the table with my kids to really bind and be on their level. Nurse was nice as well.

Nice and caring

The receptionist was rude, had an attitude and was very impatient

The doctor was insensitive with our son to the point of causing my son to cry and not wanting to eat because the doctor kept on about my sons weight. My son was in tears. This is not professional at all. Praying that doctors find it in there heart to care for patients and not just see them as a name or number.

Impersonal doctor. My 5 DAY old daughter had gone 5+ hours without eating one afternoon, and upon hearing this over the phone he said she’d be fine for her appt that would be at 8am the next morning. We ended up going to the ER a few more hours later because we didn’t feel right and she needed immediate attention. She was severely dehydrated and lethargic. If we had waited til our appointment she probably would not have made it. Changing doctors immediately. DO NOT TRUST HIM. Impersonal doctor. We had a newborn who was three days old. She wasn’t eating and was sleepy and lethargic. I called his office to ask what we should do or bring her in to the hospital. I told his receptionist that our daughter hadn’t eaten for 4 1/2 hours and we were struggling to keep her awake to try to eat. She told me to just keep trying to feed her and to bring her to our appointment the next day. I asked her how long she should go without eating before we need to bring her in. She told me that she should be okay. Later that day we got a call from a specialist in Sacramento to bring our newborn to the ER for labs to be done due to a newborn screening that had been done at the hospital previously. When we got to the ER they could see how dehydrated she was. They had to admit her into the hospital and give her an IV where she stayed till 5 pm the following day. Dr. Neal came by around 3 pm that day to tell my wife that it wasn’t his receptionist fault and that if he had been in the office he would have told us the exact same thing. Needs new front office staff !! Would be a 5 star pediatrician if it wasn't for them.

Our 3 day old baby had gone 4/1 hours without eating and was sleepy and lethargic all day. I called Dr. Neal’s office and his receptionist told us to just keep trying to feed her and bring her to our scheduled appointment the next day. I asked how long to go before we need to bring her in an she said she should be fine. We took her to ER later where she was given an IV and stayed overnight. The next day Neal defended the receptionist and said he would have told us the same thing.

office was very clean as were the rooms, the staff was stellar. the doc himself was attentive and even called me himself with the test results... very impressed.

I like Dr Neal and Marc but his office is very slow. Plan on spending a couple of hours there. The females PA they just recently got I do not trust at all. My son had a lump under his arm and all she said was "it could be a tumor but it is probably binign since you can't see it". You could feel it but because you couldn't see it, it was no big deal. There are many cancers you can't see. So I took him to a different doctor who ran test. Thank God it was nothing but at least the other doctor got to the bottom of what the lump was. I'm done with Neal's office because of the time it takes and the new PA I like Dr Neal and Marc but his office is very slow. Plan on spending a couple of hours there. As a nurse I would recommend him for your child I have been using his office since 2005 and have no complaints. They listen well and are always available to see your sick child.

Dr. Neal is amazing. His staff is also top notch. You expect a wait at any doctor's office, but they do a good job of keeping that minimal. The waiting room is beautifully done with room sized jungle mural. Each exam room has its own theme ranging from Ocean, to fire trucks, even Scooby-Doo.. all painted to match. Especially with kids it wouldn't be unusual to see things kids have broken or torn up, but I've never seen anything like that at this office. Dr. Neal is amazing. His staff is also top notch. Dr. Neal and his staff pay attention to what is important. For 9 years he's been able to explain to me what should be considered normal when kids are sick. When something is wrong, he is very quick to action. He's quiet, but if you ask the right questions, he'll tell you anything you want to know about why he doesn't see your concerns the same way you do. And he's very good at being better at medicine than the "i know all" parent. Dr. Neal and his staff pay attention to what is important. i give this doctor 0 stars. he is very impersonal. did not care about my concerns for my son. wouldn't even take the time to hear what i was saying about his symptoms. i have had 4 other appointments about the same cough my son has had for a month now. he told me today that there was nothing he could do and to bring my son back in a week if he gets worse. um as a mother i trust that you, as my sons pediatrician, are going to do anything and everything to make my child better. i should not leave the office feeling sad and unheard. As of now i am my sons voice and you should be listening to what i am concerned about. In my opinion this man should not be working with young children. The bed in the exam room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The floor had dirt all over it. There was a couple wadded up tissues on the floor.. Do they know sanitation is a MUST in this field? I felt dirty and unsanitary being in that room. Who knows how much bacteria is all over the place! while my son was getting weighed a man walked by me in the hallway with a blank facial expression, although I smiled at him because that is the polite thing to do and he did not acknowledge me. After waiting THIRTY FIVE Minutes in the exam room - Sure enough this guy was my sons new pediatrician. He walked in didn't look at me stared at the wall no facial expression when he introduced himself. His bed side manner is HORRIBLE. Why are you a doctor for children if you are so impersonal? He acts as though we were a nuisance. It's not like I was asking him tons of questions. I asked him TWO questions about my son. It was so hard to be nice and keep my composure. I felt horrible for my son that I chose this doctor in hopes he would actually give a crap. Dirty facility, rude impersonal doctor. I'm not sure what the other doctors are like. Dr .Neal has a good bed side manor and is very insightful and helpful one of the best doctors i have came a cross goes out of his way to help people . would recommend him to any one Thank you Dr. Neal

I feel as though I am diagnosing, and then going to get confirmations but only get vague answers. I diagnosed my child's skin condition, and ended up making an appointment with a dermatologist to get confirmation since I literally got a could be when I asked Dr. Neal of the cradle cap could be eczema but did not even refer us to dermatologist, did on my own.

Excellent Office. Staff is friendly, Office is clean. The Doctors are always willing to listen and offer solutions that work with your lifestyle. They consider diet and lifestyle in addition to medication. Appointment availability is great. The rooms are decorated, each one is a different theme. The Lobby is painted with Rainforest plants. They have stickers and lollipops when they are done, and if they child has shots, you can get a voucher for an ice cream scoop at Rite Aid! I have had nothing but great experiences with Dr. Neal and Dr. Waysong. Dr. Waysong was my pediatrician when I was young and has been in the field for 25 years. Dr. Neal works with special needs children as well. Would definitely recommend this office to anyone with kids! Excellent Office. Staff is friendly, Office is clean.
