Dr. J removed an iud for me that was giving me problems and I had complications before when a nurse practitioner at the county clinic perforated my uterus wall during insertion and I had to have it removed. This was my 3 rd removal after having it 5 years but I was scared from previous experiences. I was shaking and crying before he had me get on the table by the time it was over 10 minutes later I had laughed at his jokes the entire time and NEVER FELT A THING ! I could not believe it was done until he showed me the IUD. Dr. Johansson delivered my oldest daughter Jessica 25 years ago. He was amazing, compassionate and very concerned. I had been through a loss and he really took good care of me and my baby!!

I have never been to such an unorganized and inconsiderate place. Being that the other reviews of this place are terrible i decided to just give it a try...which was my worst idea ever. I made an appointment a month in advanced as that was the soonest appointment they had. Before hanging up the phone after making my appointment the receptionist confirmed my appointment time and date as well as the doctor I would be seeing. I drove 30 minuets to Karl Johansson’s office waited for 15 minuets for someone to greet me to then tell me my “doctor” was out of town and they were supposed to call me but didn’t. I then explained that was not the doctor I was scheduled to see so there must be a mistake. The receptionist then told me I was no where on the schedule for Dr. Johansson and they had none of my information saved in the computer. I kindly asked her to explain how this could happen because I was just so confused she then very rudely and unprofessional proceeded to tell me she didn’t know what happened And offered me one appointment I was unable to make then stared at me as if there was nothing else she could do. Been coming here many years. I love Dr. Johansson and all of the staff

I just love this Doctor. So kind and caring and tells you like it is. His staff is great too. Always make you feel at ease and relaxes you.

Best doctor hands down

I absolutely love this doctor he's is amazing and makes you feel completely comfortable with him from the every first moment I met him

The first time I met Dr. Johannson was back in 2004. I had been in a horrible car accident about 2 months before I got pregnant. He really had his work cut out with me that was for sure. He really cared and took extra caution with me. He made me feel safe and comfortable like no other. So much that I went back to him in 2012 when I got pregnant with my 2nd child. He still took great care of me and remembered me. I just cant say enough about how awesome he is.

I was 33 weeks pregnant and was told Johansson was booked for weeks and couldn't see me anymore and they needed to reschedule me with a different doctor i was shocked due to being seen by him my entire pregnancy and was on bi-weekly appointments and i had ask why i wasn't considered a priority and how they expect me to deliver my baby with someone new.. there reply was well when you deliver you mite not get him anyways... so i was upset at this point i decided to transfer out of the office which btw when done so they wont accept you for a year after.. so when i called to transfer my wreccored they told me someone misinformed me and Johansson was only taking 10days off but since i had already made an effort to transfer to a better hospital i figured forget it.. as seeing my new doctor i realized what poor care i was receiving they did not check my pee once in my 33weeks there aperntly thats a every appointment taske to check levels second Johansson told me my baby was breached but wouldn't go over a birth plan or methods he had as to help flip the baby and 3erd i waited at least 45 minutes to see the doctor and was rushed through a 5 minute appointment and every nurse there was rude and would be having personal conversation on the phone or each other before addressing making my next appointment as i stood there and waited up to 10 minutes before... i thought I was seeing the best in town and he had a great personality but i will never see a doctor in oroville again and i will make sure to know what my doctor should be doing for me and the health of my baby before waiting so long to do something about what made me uncomfortable. Dr Johansson was the best obgyn doctor I have seen. Great doctor and great bedside manner. You feel comfortable and confident with his knowledge and caring ways. A pleasure to be his patient.

By far the most unprofessional, unkind, and horrible OB offices I've ever had an experience with. I had many procedures done to prevent cervical cancer from this office. Once I decided to try and have children i was having problems. My doctor wanted to make sure nothing was damaged during my surgeries and wanted them to check the areas they operated on. They resheduled and canceled my appointments a total of 6 times over the course of three months. By far the most unprofessional, unkind, and horrible OB offices I've ever had an experience with.
