Very thorough, gave in depth explanations regarding my issue, made me feel at ease even though I was feeling anxious. Impressive bedside manner in a what felt to me was a crisis situation.

Attentive, kind and thorough. Rather rare in today's climate.

Dr. Mattison is an extraordinary individual and very intelligent ED physician. He is clear with what he plans to do, explains all the procedures and lab work that needs to be done, and tries his best to make sure you are comfortable. I will always request to be seen by this doctor if I were to come to the ER again.
