Doctor Giammattei was a very kind and caring Phyician!!!

My husband dislocated his right shoulder in a fall on ice last friday. DrGiammattei saw his Friday morning after an xray. He needed ONLY an Xray because it showed exactly what the problem was. He worked first with Mike to reduce the shoulder with only local anesthesia and finally , after many attempts, Mike eventually needed conscious sedation. I am a former physician's assistant and the service we had was fantastic! Staff and doctor could not have been better, very thankful

I have seen Dr. Giammattei since 1996. He has always been upfront and honest about the condition o my knees. We went through series of Synvisc and Orthovisc shots until they were ineffective. Finally, in June 2017, He performed double knee replacement surgery. The surgery was very successful. He said he's fry to straighten my legs a little. He did such a good job that at age 76 I grew an u=inch taller. Dr. Giammattei is a true professional and a gentleman. Not only does he perform surgery well, but he also communicates very well. He called my partner, Janet, before I came out of the effects of anesthesia and gave her a detailed account of the surgery as well as a prediction for my recovery. He has always been available to listen and to explain everything I was concerned about. I grew up in a medical family so I learned early that doctors are not gods and that not all doctors good communicators or nice people. Dr. Giammattei is in the top three doctors who have helped me in my life

Thorough evaluation-I liked his conservative approach to treatment

Dr Giammattei is very experienced and very caring. He will be doing my knee replacement next month and I have great respect and trust with him doing the surgery he had done my other knee replacement last year done very well and no problems I am fine .

Frank listened and questioned and commented. He explored optional diagnoses and treatments. Follow up is planed. A very satisfying encounter.

Efficient, thorough and expedient. Listened well and offered good advise for preventative maintenance of my knee issues. Would highly recommend.

I live Dr. G. He is not only a great doc, he has a wonderful demeanor. He is so patient in explaining everything and will answer all of your questions without rushing. A+++

Dr G does not want to rush you in to unnecessary surgery

Prior to my surgery, I had confidence in Dr. Giammattei's skills as an excellent orthopaedic surgeon, and he did not disappoint. I would gladly recommend him any day.

Dr. Giammettei did an excellent job all around. He communicated well and explained everything before the surgery. He did a great job with the surgery and I'm back to full mobility with no pain at all. Absolutely would recommend

I had both knees replaced by Dr. Giammattei one in 2012 and 2014 and am getting my right hip replaced in September 2018. He is an outstanding Dr. and I am highly satisfied with his skill and easy going personality. In short he is great.

I was in misery for years with stabbing knee pain, and my Mom and friend recommended Dr. G when I finally decided on surgery. I'm SO GLAD I chose him! Everything from my initial office visit with him when he explained everything, to the day of surgery and my one night post-op in the hospital was excellent. Everyone was concerned with my well-being and comfort, and my care was superb. I'm now two months post-op and the new knee is PAIN FREE! Why did I wait so long?

Dr Giammattei did a superb job on my full knee replacement. The medical care I received pre-op, during surgical procedures and post op care was nothing short of superb. His expertise sustained a great surgical procedure and surgical results. I am grateful to have had such a committed, competent surgeon perform my surgery. Many thanks to Dr Giammattei for his committment and expertise.

I have not gone very far in my treatment yet so it might be good to revisit this review at a later time. However, I was disappointed in having to get an X-ray even before seeing the doctor. Had it been the other way around, he would have known I didn't need the x-ray but instead an MRI. With that. said Dr. G was very nice. Once it was clear I needed the MRI, I got one.

He replaced both my hips on separate occasions. He is skilled, takes time to explain and listen. I am truly grateful for the excellent care. Both surgeries were at Springfield Hospital that has a separate area of the hospital for joint replacements so that you are away from sickness. I walk without a cane and no longer have any instability. I have my life back! Truly grateful.

DR. Giammattei was caring and gentle. He explained everything and helped alleviate all of my problems .

Dr G has been my doctor for about 15 years. He spends time with me and answers my question. My left knee is on the back nine but so am I. If replacement is required down the line, he will be doing it at Crozer. He gives common sense responses and has a sense of humor. The only sad part is he will be done practicing before I "go".

Best in the biz. Tore knee and could not walk for a month. I walked out of surgery . Also constant elbow pain he fixed it right up. I will not go to any other Dr.

What a wonderful thing to walk into a doctor's office for the first time and be greeted with a smile and the attention soly on what you, we're there for. Then Dr. Giamatti came in with a smile and made me feel comfortable right from the start. He exceeded all my expectations.

Dr. Giammattei performed bilateral knee replacement on me 12 years ago and because of my confidence in him I sought out his opinion on recent ankle pain. He quickly was able to diagnose my problem and offer options for treatment. #1 in my book!!!

Dr. G is a real Professional ... extremely adept at his profession! He had to take out my left knee replacement due to an infection that stemmed from a wisdom tooth infection. Dr. G had to put in 'Spacers' for 8 weeks and admitted me to a skilled nursing facility with a 'Pic Line' in order to dispense 1500 mg of Vancomycin daily. when at the infection cleared he placed a 2nd knee prothesis. Also, he replaced both my hips due to Osteoarthritis. He is a phenomenal surgeon!!! He is the best!

Dr Giammattei replaced my right knee and I just had my left knee scoped. He is the only ortho surgeon I will have operate on me. He is terrific. He was very skilled and friendly. Everything you want in a surgeon.

I have been a long-term patient of Dr. Giammattei's and have been seen by him for a hip replacement, broken wrist, and shoulder injury. Each and every time, Dr. G was caring, attentive, and focused completely on me. HIs amazing staff in all office locations is another hallmark of his commitment to patient comfort. He has an excellent rapport with his colleagues and keeps your other doctors informed of his treatment plan for you. Also has excellent ATC in Glen Mills - Shannon B!

Dr. Giammattei is outstanding! He carefully reviews your case with you, suggests possible treatments, and helps YOU decide what is best for you. My arthroscopic knee surgery was scheduled for 11:00 A.M., I was in the car on my way home at 1:30 P.M., and was walking around the next day.

It has been 6 months since my surgery. Dr Giammattei replaced both of my knees on 6/26 and I was back at work 3 months later. No pain now and I would do it again in an instant. He took the time to answer all of my questions - even the dumb ones. I highly recommend him. I would also like to give a shout out to the acute rehab at Taylor Hospital. They had me ready to go home and face all the steps at home. They did such a great job I did not need at home care but went right to outpatient PT

Dr. Giammattei treated my frozen shoulder, my torn meniscus and my knee replacement. He has listened patiently when I whined and complained about my aches and pains and then he accurately zeroed in on the roots of my problems and gave me options on how to fix them. I certainly would recommend him to my friends and family.

I was pleased with his educational background and experience. I had each knee done five weeks apart. He was attentive to my questions, returned phone calls. was professional and skillful. I would highly recommend him.

Best surgeon I've ever met. His bedside manner was unlike I've ever witnessed from many surgeons and I feel so much better from his hip replacement

It's been 5 years now since my double knee replacement. I had no nunbness on the bottoms of my feet when i entered Crozer-Chester hospital, Upland, PA for my double knee replacement. I felt numbness on the bottoms of both feet after awaking from the operation; the numbness has continued 24/7 for over 5 years. The foot numbness has caused balance issues and of course discomfort. Dr. Giammattei continues to disavow any blame, has no interest in seeking possible causes or treatment.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Frank P. Giammattei, MD and his staff to my friends and family. The staff is courteous and friendly and very professional. The doctor is thorough on everything that he does. The front office staff gets documents filled out and faxed to the proper places in an efficient and timely manner. They are also very courteous and professional.

Amazing!!!!!! I had the best experience with him. After seeing other Orthopedic surgeons he was the only one who was able to give me a diagnosis. Gave the best less evasive treatment and told me to come back as needed. Did not make me dependent on doctor visits, which is what I like. I would recommend him all the way.
