Dr. James M Zurbach

Not thrilled with my 2 nd hip injection. I’m in more pain then before so I got a repeat MRI , it’s been 5 days and no call on results. I called the office and was told dr Zurbach is on vacation for a month , holy crap that’s not how you care for your patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Zurbach for about 25 years. He replaced my right knee and has been giving me shots in the left knee.. it is now time for a left knee replacement. He will be replacing my left knee on March 10. Yes I would recommend him and have done so in the past.

Dr. Zurbach did what it took for my hip replacement to be successful more smoothly and with less discomfort than I expected. I was able to walk on the repaired leg without pain surprisingly soon. He followed up well and made sure I was healing properly.

Dr. Zurbach is my hero! He gave me back a pain free life 8 yrs ago when he did a complete hip reconstruction. No more terrible pain and limp. I’m now back for painful knee pain. Plenty of good doctors in my area, but I trust Dr Zurbach completely. It was so good to see him again. I trust his treatment and will do as he suggested until I see him again. He truly is amazing. Dr. Zurbach has provided my husband and I with excellent care through the years. Hips and knee replacements.

Very professional and caring! Takes the time to explain treatments. Most surgeons do not have his personality and I find them to be cold. I would go back to him if I needed Ortho.

Recently had my first visit with Dr Zurbach for a broken left humerus bone. He took time to explain my options and exactly what to expect moving forward. In my case, he recommended against surgery -just immobilize arm and give it time to heal. We will closely monitor thru the healing process to ensure all is going as expected. He took time to answer all my questions and calm my fears about pain and swelling of the arm. Great guy to deal with and I have confidence in his judgement.

First visit with Dr Zurbach. The wait was minimal. I expected pain during my cortisone injection to my knee but it wasn’t bad at all. Pleasantly surprised.

Replaced knee and a hip. Compassionate doctor and great surgeon. If you need a joint replaced he is one of the best.

He was very pleasant n Knowledgeable during my last visit to First Premier Orthopedic. I had a situation that needed immediate attention. I was able to see him the very next day. I was very thankful for meeting Dr. Zurback. He made my day by not suggesting surgery for a very small fracture. Office staff were pleasant and efficient. Dr. Zurbach was patient and his expainations were in words i could understand . My 2.5 hour drive for my appointment was well worth it.

Dr. zurbach is awesome. Great bedside manner. Also very patient listens to you. The staff are great I get a call back in less than 5 minutes. I'm so impressed with the whole practice Thank you so much for your outstanding care

As a retired RN, I'm usually aware of an MD's bedside manner, certifications, and reputation with his colleagues and medical staff. Dr Zurbach scores high in each category. He is renown with his anterior approach to hip replacement that results in a minimal hospital stay. I consider him to be one of the best.

I have been cared for by Dr. Zurbach for an arthritic knee for the past 10 years. With his ongoing thoughtful advice, physical therapy, and periodic corticosteroid injections I have been able to avoid surgery. I am very pleased by his expertise, conservative approach, and his outstanding office staff. I have recommended him and his practice to many friends.
