Saw Dr. Landis yesterday. He very quickly knew the ankle brace I needed. He is knowledgeable, competent, a clear and direct communicator and is gracious.

Expert care, common sense advice, answered all of our questions.

A family member recommended Dr Landis & TOI after I had not been getting adequate care from a podiatrist. Everyone I encountered was professional, highly competent, and kind. We have a plan to treat my hammertoe and I feel confident moving forward with this team.

Dr Landis operated on my foot 6 years ago and I had a good experience from first visit through recovery. I have a different issue with my foot and my visit went very well. He examined the X-rays, explained the problems but ordered an MRI before making final determination of course of action. He answered all my questions. I am very satisfied with my decision to use Dr Landis again.

After two unsuccessful surgeries, Dr. Landis accepted my case. His method and procedures to fuse my lower ankle were successful. Dr. Landis was exceptional at communicating the details of surgery. He always listened to my concerns and answered my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Landis.

Dr Landis is truly a gifted surgeon. Bunion/Hammertoe surgery went flawless. First time in 50+ years without pain due to those issues.

After years of foot problems and pain not solved by other physicians, I went to Dr. Landis. He identified the problem based on x-rays and scheduled me for injections between two major bones in my foot, which had some deterioration due to osteoarthritis. The injections were carefully done under simultaneous x-ray to pinpoint the exact location of the pain source. Within two days the pain that I had been experiencing for several years was gone. Of course I expect to need additional injections at some point, but now I know who to go to. I would recommend Dr. Landis to anyone experiencing pain due to osteoarthritis in the foot.

I was impressed by the timely, friendly, competence of all of the staff. Dr. Landis was a good listener and gave me all of the info I needed to deal with my injury. He was excellent!

I visited this doctor for the first time about a painful swelling in my heel. I told him that a short regimine of a prescription anti-inflammatory I had just started appeared to be resolving the pain and inflammation. Regardless, he prescribed what he described as a more powerful anti inflammatory drug as well as a 6 week visit to the physical therapist. He also twice mentioned the potential for surgery in the very short time I saw him. It appeared to be a headlong rush to qualify for surgery without seeing what the less intense medication would do.

I called for an appointment and got in within days. Dr Landis is very personable and explained my foot problems and treatment options in a language I could understand.

Dr. Landis listened carefully, explained things clearly, and marked out a treatment plan that made sense.

Dr Landis told me 3 years ago about the expected progression on the osteoarthritis of my foot. He never pushed surgery, but explained when that might be the last resort after NSAIDS and cortisone injections were no longer effective. I am now to the point of surgery and am comfortable with it as the next step.

Clear and concise. He carefully listens to you and involves you in decision process.

Doctor Landis provided excellent care, was an attentive listener, and provided clear information and instructions on my ankle issues. I highly recommend him and the entire practice.

I had an injection in my right foot. Mt appointment was at 1:50 an the doctor was finished with the shot and I was leaving the office at 1:58. There was little pain with the injection. Very pleased with Dr. Landis.

Dr. was very good but over books. Appointment was 40 minutes late.

My visit was very prompt & through. And the treatment I was given has been very helpful.

Quick diagnosis for heal pain. Plan of attack includes a cortisone injection, special exercises, and PT if necessary.

Issue with lack of motion in big toe on right foot, very nice to meet, walked me through possibilities, had xrays done for a base point, look forward to future help with any issue from Dr Landis!

He gets right down to business. He impressed my husband because he didn't only look at me to explain everything he also looked at my husband in his eyes to make sure we all under stood what he was going to do.

Highly recommend Dr Landis. Has done 3 surgeries for me over the years. Last one was March 2021. Always professional, excellent surgeon! The best! He is straight forward and honest from beginning through end about what to expect. Prior to decision of surgery he explains all options other than surgery and the success rate of the options. Always asks for questions and thoroughly answers questions with detail. His staff are professional & efficient. Ive had many interactions with Lili (spelling?) over the phone. She is is amazing. If a voice message is left with her, she answers promptly and always shows compassion and concern. Many of my friends & neighbors see Dr Landis for good reasons. I’ve never heard anything but positive feedback!!

I consider Dr. Landis to be one of the best physicians in Tucson. He is very accommodating to personal needs and fully explains conditions and options. I highly recommend him.

My teenage son had a sports injury to his foot, and was subsequently referred by Hanger Orthotics to Dr. Landis for possible ongoing inflammation. Hanger Orthotics told me that Dr. Landis was the best foot and ankle orthopedist in Tucson. I was already familiar with Dr. Landis because he had done my mom's ankle replacement surgery several years ago (which was very successful). After an xray, history, and examination, Dr. Landis determined my son's foot was fine and said my son could return to his running program. He also gave my son some training advice to prevent future foot injuries - it turns out Dr. Landis is the doctor for the U of A track team. Dr. Landis was thorough, friendly, and did not rush through the appointment, making sure he had answered all of our questions.

Probably the most down to earth Physician I have ever seen. Dr. Landis was very attentive and professional. He explained the fracture that I had and the course of action he was going to take. Plus informing me of what to expect in the long term. In closing I would recommend Tucson Orthopedic centers to everyone. From the front desk staff , nurses and physical therapist- the entire group are AWESOME!!

Dr Landis had my ankle X-rayed to determine just how much arthritis was there. There was an extensive amount. Both my heel and ankle have been hurting me for some time. We discussed the condition of my foot, and together, we decided on two cortisone injections. One in my ankle, and one in my heel. He was pleasant and professional.

Dr Landis was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and caring. He did an excellent job fixing my achilles.

I saw Dr. Landis after I had completely severed the tendon in my foot. I am scheduled for surgery which after rehab will get me back to normal. It will be well worth the effort. I got all the information I needed from Dr. Landis and I’m very pleased I found him.

Cast removed, ankle area reviewed and X-rays taken reviewed. Explained to slowly start weight bearing with Boot and still use knee scooter

My husband broke his calcaneus into several pieces almost a year ago. After two surgeries, with Dr. Landis's precision, skill, and expertise at the helm in both, and with continued rehab therapy, he is beginning to walk unaided again, without a boot or crutches. At every appointment, Dr. Landis was attentive and responsive, answering questions, and providing knowledge to guide the recovery. We highly recommend him as an orthopedic surgeon.

Had serious pain and swelling in my foot. Dr Landis and his Associate were very kind and selected a conservative approach to treatment. Foot is feeling better.

He is always professional and friendly; he listens to my questions and his answers are complete and easy to understand. This is the third foot surgery I have had in my lifetime, and I think Dr. Landis's surgery skills are outstanding. He has kept the post-op appointments on time and his advise is clear and easy to follow. He monitored my foot surgery recovery carefully. I confidently recommend Dr. Landis for any contemplated foot surgery.

Excellent C-19 habits at Oro Valley office. First visit with Dr. Landis, first rate crew assisting Dr. Landis. Very informative visit, I have taken his advice and pain reduced 90%. Working on the last 10% for a pain free life. Thanks too all involved.

I am very pleased with my care for a condition which has few treatment options. Dr Landis has ideas to try to help me instead of just saying "nothing we can do" like my old Ortho dr did. Physical therapy at Tucson orthopedics also was good. I feel TO is dedicated to doing all they can to help you.
