My experience with Dr Reiss was quite enjoyable and I left feeling much better than when I arrived. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this being my first appointment with him and knowing it would take anywhere between2-3 hours. However, the appointment was very thorough and informative and helped me to be more confident moving forward in my eye care

I had not heard about the condition of narrowing angles that could cause a serious vision situation. Dr. Reiss explained the situation very clearly and was thorough in his description of the treatment. The entire experience was very positive.

Doctor Reiss did my cataract surgery some years back and I look forward to him being by doctor for the future concerning the glaucoma problem.

I was a 20 year patient who was just denied refilling a much needed prescription for glaucoma. Absolutely horrible customer service from Shannon. I would never recommend coming here. Doctors are great however Shannon was so horrible anyone who displays that behavior should not be assisting anyone or anything.

Dr Reiss was very nice & spoke to my self & my Mom explained everything in great detail. He was every nice. The staff Techs are all very nice as Well. they took their time to talk with me & helped me understand the procedure.

Dr Reiss listens and explains things as questions come up. He put me at ease, I had put off this appointment for fear of bad news, but it was actually good news! I would recommend him to anyone that wants a caring doctor who spends time with you.

From the check in process, thru the exams done by the assistants, to the visit with Dr Reiss, I always felt I was in good hands.

I had this appointment to give a second opinion on the condition of my eyes. Dr. Reiss listened to everything I had to say and answered every question. That was very impressive. I had not had that experience with other doctors. This gave me confidence that he cared and had my best interest in mind. Thank you!

Exams, procedures were administered quickly, no waiting for doctor diagnosis, which was very clear and thorough. Dr Reiss was also extremely empathetic of my concerns and took time to answer all of my questions.

Everything was fine except I was there for 2 hours! Had no idea I’d wait so long to see someone then several different exams from different technicians. Whew! Glad I had no other appointments that day. And they didn’t know how to process my Care Credit card! Only the Glendale office knew how but I was in Scottsdale. Very disappointed

Doctor is very friendly and down to earth. He was easy to talk to and explained his findings thoroughly.

My husband has Alzheimer’s, appreciated that Dr. Reiss made him feel part of the decision process. Unfortunately, this is not true of all doctors. Dr. Reiss removed my cataracts earlier this year. He is awesome and so is the entire staff.

Have been using his office for a few years but scheduling needs improvement. Have not changed due to the fantastici docors. If you choose to use this office, be prepared to wait well past your scheduled appoitment time to be seen, otherwise the doctors and staff are great

Negligent office staff and doctor. Dr Reiss removes my mother’s cataract. 6 hours later she was in excruciating pain. After several calls to the on-call doctor. She was prescribed an ointment. On her post operation visit Dr Reiss never showed up, and the staff was incredibly rude as my mother cried asking for someone to help her and look at her eye. After waiting 20 minutes a nurse found out that the lens they put on was scratching her eye all night. The offfice staff essentially blew it off and blamed my mother (who had a lens inserted, tape, and a patch over her eye). No apologies and the doctor never even bothered to call after this horrible, experience my mother went through due to their negligence. Negligent office staff and doctor. Dr Reiss removes my mother’s cataract. 6 hours later she was in excruciating pain. After several calls to the on-call doctor. She was prescribed an ointment. I don't know what went wrong on Samantha's visit but on my end that kind of experience is almost inconceivable. I have been going to this clinic 3-4 times per year since a severe head and left eye injury in 2007. I have seen a few doctors over that period, including Dr. Reiss himself. My treatments have been exceptional, without exception. Great science and great patient care. Explanations in layman's terms very thorough. On most visits, I have been seen on schedule or early. I have always been treated very well by admin and assisting staff as well as the doctors. My only criticism and it is a very selfish one, is that sometimes unexpected surgical priorities require the clinic to postpone a long-scheduled visit. But, my needs are chronic and emergencies happen. Oh (trivial), I do wish they had a better magazine selection in the waiting room!
