Giuseppe Caruso

This man was appointed as health care proxy for my father who has advanced dementia..and this dr has been a family friend of many years, who is now refusing to give his family end of life updates or return calls with details about his health.

This dr engages in unethical practice.

Dr Caruso treated my mom who had emphysema for over 15 years. He was knowledgeable and very helpful. I would definitely recommend him with confidence

Dr Caruso was ok but certain individuals on his front office staff are very incompetent and rude. So much so that I will not go back there.

Dr Caruso is a consultant for the 911 WTC HEALTH PROGRAM , he does not help patients and has no bedside manners. He is on the side of the insurance company that pays him. I do not recommend him if you are a 911 victim do not waste your time with this doctor.For some reason the WTC health program steers most of there patients to him. There is some kind of monopoly going on between him and the health program. Avoid this doctor at any cost ! There are much better doctors out there. I called to make an appointment. The woman on the phone was completely rude. I asked her to spell the name of the doctor we were discussing and it was clearly annoying to her. and the first available appointment was in 2 months. Pretty useless...... When our conversation was over, no goodbye, have a good day... Just a click, hang up. It wouldn't matter at this point how good the doctor may be I would go to them.

I can enough positive about Dr. Caruso and both his PA's. My mother has server lung disease and he did everything under the sun. I never in my life have seen a more caring doctor. This doctor is rare. He care's about his patience and it show's in everything he does. If your looking for a true professional doctor Dr. Caruso. He's a real credit to his profession. My mom was in St. Joseph's Hospital this doctor has no bedside manner. He threatened to take my mom off of a medication and blood transfusion. I told him I was going to fill out a POA report and challenge him. He then came back in the room and denied everything he said and of course the nurse on staff at the time agreed with him. My ratings are based on his professionalism in the hospital. I can't fill out the survey because was done in the hospital.

The office treats you like a person and not a number. The doctor explains it so you understand it. They return phone calls. Thank You

Dr. Caruso is very easy to talk with. He takes the time to explain things in terms that the patient can understand. He connects on a personal level and that helps form a bond of trust.
