our of 5, Dr. Sussman get's a 22 STARS....he was a consultant in St. Joe in Bryan and saw me. what a fantastic man, interested in the patient, understood problem and a major part of me leaving the hospital with dbl. phenomena in 3 days because of his drug plan......can't enough about his bed side manor and I think he left knowing a little about the international oil diz......Jim Kinser

I’m a patient of Dr Kussman and he is a very good doctor. He is a blunt straight forward doctor and this is what I want in a doctor. I feel that my health is important to him.

Dr. Kussman's office overcharged my wife on 4/19/17 and will not refund the overpayment after multiple requests. It has been over 3 months since the first refund request was made and after 5 phone calls requesting the refund I have received nothing but excuses as to why it has not been done.

VERY UPSET!! I called to reschedule my appointment and there was a message that said his office was PERMANENTLY closed!! Not seeing office patients anymore, only those in the hospital!! I never received a phone call or letter in the mail letting me know. Now I am trying to get my medical records from him so that I can see another ID Dr. because I need medicine refills! He has helped me a lot and hate that this happened but very unprofessional to leave us hanging like this!!

By the time you're referred to Dr. Kussman, you've probably exhausted the resources of your regular doctor. At least, that was my case. My reconstructive surgeon referred me to resolve an unseen but stubborn infection I must have contracted during or shortly after surgery. Dr. Kussman makes a concerted effort to understand the history and chronological order of patient events. He uses language easy to understand and explains things in a clear manner. He never speaks in condescending or impatient tones, he answers questions and gives the patient plenty of opportunity to ask questions. I have also had to contact Dr. Kussman during non-working hours/weekend and he has always been responsive. His nurse, Tammy, is AMAZING. She is always quick with a smile and very professional. She knows her stuff and can answer most questions I have. On a more personal note, Dr. Kussman is quirky and has a dry sense of humor. He makes me laugh. Thanks to Dr. Kussman and his awesome staff, I am healthy and alive today to write this review. From the first visit in the hospital, Dr. Kussman was compassionate, and genuinely cared for my well being. Always explaining what was happening and what I could expect. His office staff were simply exceptional. Friendly, caring, patient and always made my wife and I feel confident, comfortable and welcome. If I could give 10 stars I would give 15. Simply the VERY BEST!

When I made the appointment they couldn't tell me how much it was going to cost . Then he was an hour and a half late and spent only 10 minutes with me . Went to check out she said it was going to be $175 . I paid the $175 and then they turned around and charge my insurance company 300.00 dollars.

Dr. Kiss man saw my husband in The Hear Hospital Baylor - Plano following his admission after developing cellulitis in the leg where the surgeon got his vein for heart bypass surgery. He was attentive, patient, thorough and compassionate. He accurately diagnosed the problem and managed my husband's wound care after the surgeon took my husband back to surgery to debride the wound to promote healing. We were very pleased with Dr. Kussman's care.
