Huagui Li

At first I thought he was a good doctor as he was my first electro cardiologist. I had no one to compare him with. After my pacemaker, that he oversaw being implanted at Fairview Southdale, started having problems, the emergency room doctors told me I needed to see Dr. Huagui Li so he could “tweak the settings.“ I called Dr. Huagui Li’s office and his nurse told me was not even willing to see me to tweak it!!! All he wanted to do was to “ablate” my AV node!! Period! I was stunned to say the least! I do not recommend him at all. You want a doctor to do his best job, not what “he wants” to do! I found a much better electro cardiologist at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, The head of that department, and he performed a very successful ablation that he knew he could do and my heart has been beating correctly for nine years and continues!

He treated my husband in 2018 for AFIB. He had to do the surgery where you go inside his heart and burn the valve. It was very scary for me and my husband but Dr. Li made us feel very comfortable the procedure was a great success. We both new he was in good hands. Dr. Li is very nice and explains things on a level we could understand. I would recommend him. Thanks, Kay
