I have been going to Dr. Cao for 4 years. I get my eye exam every year in February. He is very patient and professional. He and his assistant are a pleasure to work with!

Very patient and kind with my son for his first eye exam. Always the best customer service.

My 8 year old's first time at the optometrist and needed glasses. The receptionist and doctor were very friendly and efficient. Quick, but thorough visit; everything was explained and all my questions asked. Very convenient location right outside of Target.

I love going into Dr. Cao’s office. Everyone is alway so welcoming and they make the whole experience so pleasant.

Dr. Cao is my family optometrist. He is caring, understanding and knowledgeable. Been a patient for years!

Dr. Cao was very clear. Knew exactly how to explain what I was experiencing. He also made me feel comfortable in the fact that this was just an age progressive issue and I like that. His receptionist was also professional and courteous.

Dr Cao and the young lady at the desk were awesome. He took the time to explain everything very thoroughly. My daughter and I were there at the same time and it went so smoothly. We definitely will keep using Dr Cao’s office!

I'm unsure if the receptionist was just having a bad day, or ready to head home, but my experience at this clinic on Wednesday afternoon, 12/22, was by far the most unpleasant and bizarre customer service encounters ever. I've booked with Dr. Cao in previous years, so I was willing to drive about 50 minutes to the clinic and pay out of pocket for a seamless eye exam, although it was far from that. My ETA was about 10-15 mins late due to heavy traffic on the long drive, so I gave the clinic a call and communicated such to the receptionist, where I was assured the timing was fine given the grace period. As I pulled into the parking lot, I received a call from the receptionist confirming my visit, where I communicated that I just parked my car and was walking over to the clinic. Literally within a minute, I walked up to a locked door, and received another call from the same receptionist, at the desk insight, stating my appointment was rescheduled. I was immediately confused as the receptionist confirmed my appointment while en-route and a minute before while parking my car (literally). Trying to understand what works best for Dr. Cao, the receptionist continued to cut me off mid-sentence, with an extremely rude, sarcastic and condescending tone. Also, she was unable to explain why the door was locked 30 minutes before closing time. There were no patients in the waiting area, if it were COVID-related concern. I write reviews because I too rely on others to provide an accurate and honest account of their experience. I'm sure Dr. Cao is great, but his staff, specifically the receptionist yesterday, did not provide a pleasant or accommodating environment.
