I have often believed that no matter how great a letter is it can nor happen without great people around him or her. This is certainly the case with Dr L. Deepika Koya. It goes without saying that Dr Koya is a great doctor, but she has one of the best staff that helps her. They are attentive, kind, and always helpful. They have always helped me get my meds on time

I just wait for a mount pain and never said to me that I was to bills to pay, I wait for 3 days for a treatment… So disappointed playing with the patients pain …. If they can’t do a treatment they can send the exam results and I can go to another doctor that really cares for the patients

All my visits are great. Doctor Koy and er staff are great people. I have been seeing her for several years and I can say that I owe her my good health. I have had and still have chronic digestive issue and Dr Koya has always taken good care of my issues. Her staff are amazing people I strongly recommend her if you are in need of a great doctor. Had a great procedure today with colonoscopy. She is one of the few providers in the area who accepts military insurance and I am so grateful that she values her patients and serving the community over chasing the highest reimbursement rates. I was in terrible pain. I went to the ER and several doctors. I was about to go crazy, when a family member recommended me to Dr Koya. She figured out what was wrong with me and with medication I am Finally Pain Free!! I highly recommend her!!

Went to Medical City -Surgery Center -Las Colinas for colonoscopy. An RN put IV in vein 1 1/2 hrs before procedure. Anesthesiologist drained anesthesia fluid by IV which burned so bad I would of pulled it out but they put me under when I screamed. Harassed about Covid -19 - don't have it or received DX for it. Was asked to go into waiting room bathroom to change into clothes with open gown in back - no privacy. Worst location ever. Had a slight seizure episode 10 hours later. Never met doctor till after procedure for 3 seconds stating result was normal and left.

My father was admitted to the hospital and Dr. Koya was the admitting provider. I personally, have never meet her, but per my parents she is very unprofessional. It seemed every questioned that was asked - her tone of voice - seemed it was a bother to her. As my parents continue to ask questions, at the hospital, about a procedure my father had just done, she end up turning her back on my mother, and told her to call her office. This is so unacceptable. As a provider to act this way- it shows alot of how much you care for your patients. I hope my father never has to see her again. We will make sure he finds another provider who actual cares about people's health. To bad, I can't rate her a Zero!!

Very kind smart caring

I met Dr Koya in 2016 and was impressed with her demeanor, thoroughness of explanations and SHE LISTENS TO HER PATIENTS. I will keep going to her in the future. I highly recommend Dr Koya.

Dr. Koya takes care of my elderly mother. Dr. Koya takes the time to listen to my mother and has provided excellent care. She is very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Her staff is also very friendly - you can't ask for more.

Dr. Koya has been treating my husband with advanced stage liver disease for the past four months. She is a wonderful doctor who goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care. It is not uncommon for her to call us in the evenings/weekends to discuss any new concerns. I highly recommend her!

I was worried because I thought I had colon cancer. Dr. Koya listened to my symptoms and explained what it actually was. She explains to me about my diet and medication and basically tells me I would be ok. Worked with pharmacy to keep my medication cost to be affordable which insurance doesn’t cover. I highly recommend her.

She is professional yet available. She takes the time to speak to you and has talked to me on more than one occasion from her cell phone after hours. She also is the first doctor I've been to who actually had an idea what was causing my problem.

I developed problems after changes in diet, meds, everything. Dr Koya has helped me narrow down what is going on. She is very thorough but is also cognizant of the cost to the patient. Do love her.

Dr. Koya is EXCELLENT! When I started having issues with UC disease 3 years ago I was devastated! Dr. Koya explained the disease to me in terms that I could understand & basically held my hand while she got me to remission! She was patient, kind & compassionate! Very knowledgeable. I felt like I was talking to a friend! I also love her office staff! Always available & very efficient & friendly! Great office & tremendous doctor! Dr. Koya came recommended by our family physician, so I was hopeful, yet apprehensive when first visiting her. I quickly was put at ease by her nurse and by the doctor, herself. She gave me such good information-some that I was surprised to learn. She arranged for necessary testing and lined me up with an excellent surgeon. While I was waiting for that, she prescribed medications and an eating routine that made the wait comfortable. I highly recommend her skills and her demeanor.

Dr. Koya has been a life saver to me. I've been Dr. Koya's patient for about a year and she has helped me with my diagnosed cirrhosis. In addition to being under her care, she referred me to a hepatologist who also is essential to my care. I would not have known this but for Dr. Koya's medical expertise. She schedules follow-up appointments and pertinent procedures to make sure I'm maintaining my progress with this disease. I am eternally grateful I found Dr. Koya.

Dr. Koya was very helpful on figuring out my GI proplem... she removed my pre- cancers polyp and she found out that I had a condition that has been in my intestines that she was determined to help me get rid of it. Dr Koya is a health Hazard. She nearly killed my wife performing a routine colonoscopy. It has been months and my wife is still in pain due to Dr koya lacerating my wife’s spleen. Dr koya stated “I do colonoscopies all the and this is my mistake” but she never apologized. At first she offered to waive her fees and pay for all the other treatments my wife had to go through but has to this day declined to pay or take responsibility for her actions. Beware of Dr. Koya.

My self and my spouse are Dr. Koya's patients since the last two years. She is a excellent doctor and a very good person. She listens to all your problems and concerns very patiently. She never rushes you and give all the time you need. Her all the front office staff and nursing staff are very helpful and smiling.

Dr Koya is an outstanding physician! The staff was very kind, and the head nurse Melissa was extremely helpful putting my mind at ease while explaining the prep instructions for my upcoming procedure!

Dr. Koya is one of the best doctors out there, I’ve recommended her to many of family and friends to which she’s cared for individually and professionally. Dr Koya is a very good doctor. Listens to patients and explains the condition very well. But her staff is disorganized and the head nurse is very rude. I didn’t understand a particular instruction she got impatient and mumbled something under her breath. I am thinking about changing my doctor just because of this nurse’s attitude.
