Happy to learn my orthopedic issues don't require surgery! Dr. Gilbert took the time to explain everything, and answer all my questions. I've been with this practice just about 25 years, and have recommended Dr Gilbert to many of my family and friends.

Dr Gilbert did an amazing job replacing my right knee and gave me a cortisone shot in my left knee and now I am functioning amazingly!!! Planning left knee replacement in a few months????????????

I first saw Dr. Gilbert approximately 20 years ago when I had an ACL tear. Since then, he has tended to my son Quinn, a professional athlete, my nephew and Neice Alex and Alina both student athletes and have referred many others to him over the years. Yesterday I came to him with a nagging knee pain and he (who still looks the same btw) treated me with exceptional care. He is a rare treasure within the medical field and our family loves, loves, loves he and his wonderful staff!

Outstanding experience from start to finish. First of all the office runs like a well oiled machine and then Dr Gilbert is the shining star. He diagnosed and treated my problem quickly and efficiently all the while with charm teaching me about my problem and informing me the whole time. A great experience and I’m waiting to see if the treatment works as I was there only yesterday!

I had an office visit on 12/21/22 with Dr. James E. Gilbert. They told me they would contact my insurance company about gel injections for my knees, and wrote a prescription for it (to be administered there at the office). Over a month later, they haven't contacted my insurance company, and they finally answered the phone after not answering many times. I am now seeing another doctor, and Gilbert's office refuses to send over the x-rays they took. This is a poorly run office. Stay away!

This was my first visit with Dr. Gilbert. He was very personable, answered most of my questions, and was very clear and complete in his explanations and assessment of my situation. He came highly recommended to me, and I would recommend him to others as well.

Very happy with the initial consultation. Quick assessment of the cause of the pain and appropriate physical therapy to strengthen the area under pain and make it more flexible

Dr. Gilbert took time to explain my tendon problems and to describe my options for PT, surgery and cautions about certain movements.

I didn't have to wait, although I was a little early for my appointment. I felt as though I had Dr. Gilbert's full attention and he took the time to explain things to me and made sure that I understood.

This is the first time after many years of attempts at different Ortho centers at getting a solid diagnosis about my son’s repeated injuries: we now have an answer and a plan for recovery! Huge thank you to Dr. Gilbert and his team!

Convenient quick appointment. Dr. Gilbert and his staff were kind and professional. Everyone there was friendly and efficient. So glad I found this facility. I've not had good experiences with doctor's in this metro but doctor Gilbert was informative. I even got an email with notes from my visit. How cool is that.

I have been a patient for three months including physical therapy. I have complete confidence in the staff, their technical expertise and management of my recovery. The office has a good vibe! The entire team is efficient and pleasant to work with.

To help me understand what is going on with my knee, Dr. Gilbert took the time to draw a picture of my knee and detailed each problem area. MOST & Dr Gilbert have always been professional and courteous. I have come to depend on their reliable services for probably 20 years.

Nothing but the best/most professional of care.

As always, Dr. Gilbert was beyond the best. I am still experiencing swelling in my left knee and after an examination Dr.Gilbert suggested some healing procedures for me to research. He is always very kind and supportive. The best ever!!

Dr. Gilbert took the time to address my issue while also ensuring I had already exercised all other options. I didn't feel rushed; I like that. I went in with a painful foot (heel spur/plantar fasciitis). I had already tried stretching, the night splint, etc. I appreciate him asking about all of those and opting for the next step. I felt much better when I left. I've been with MOST since they were in Silver Spring (more than 10 years).
