Excellent visit as usual

Dr. was unable to show patients and left me physically an mentally undone.I forgive him for not knowing that everyone needs a different kind of attention

My mother was seen on March 6th, 2023 by Dr. Morris for her annual cleaning/check up as a new patient. We were asked to show up an hour early since they had an opening. We show up and we had to wait 30 minutes to be seen. When we were seen by Dr. Morris, his bedside manner was lacking. He barely did the cleaning on my mother's teeth and polished them without proper scaling. Also, his conversation was not relevant to the appointment since he asked about our origin (which is unconstitutional) and then proceeded to chat about movies instead of actually doing the work. It's truly bothersome that you take time out of your busy schedule only to be seen and treated this way for a simple dental appointment. Please don't waste your time especially if you are covered by Maryland Healthy Smiles Dental Program.

Was throughly impressed from start to finish with whole operation Starting with Robert, who was excellent and efficient and I greatly appreciated his working me into busy schedule The drs assistant was also terrific. The dr was very though and got right to the issues. I would highly recommend the doctor and in fact have my wife calling for appointment

Doctor Morris and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and empathetic to the specific needs of their patients. The practice is perfectly located in central Bethesda .

I genuinely needed a simple standard cleaning and expected an unmemorable visit as a first time patient. I had mentioned I hadn't had a dental cleaning in four years during out of state college and would be out of the area again soon. I am a young female with no bad dental history and had received the most renowned/expensive orthodontia in the area with a metal mouth from age 8-14. This dentist, whom I even wrote a kind review for after my appointment, had taken my mentioning of pain to sugar & sweets, and falsely diagnosed me of Six cavities, I did not have. He quoted me roughly 2000 out of pocket for which my family was about to pay, and he adamantly scheduled a quick next visit where he would drill and fill six of my cavity-less teeth. A reputable dentist from a strong office confirmed my pain was purely from gum recession due to hard brushing and my gums had some exposed enamel. The slightly dark coffee stains only formed on one of my molars from lack of dental cleanings, Morris took pictures of as evidence of cavities, did not even show up on the X-rays as any true cavity would, and was how we uncovered what really happened with my family's dentist. Among the top ranked dental practices in Potomac, my X-rays were laughed at for looking perfectly healthy, and bearing NO sign of a SINGLE cavity, much less SIX. My family was stunned and I was blindsided by the kind demeanor, albeit unprofessional 1-2 staff and shabby semi-construction, cheap rental officespace in the building. I think it would be socially irresponsible and offensive to public safety to not make this information a fair, publicly accessible review given the severity. This dentist mentioned several times that his business was going under due to Covid and the shutdown this year, however unnecessarily drilling into a young woman's healthy teeth to pay for overhead, I find inexcusable and factually criminal. I have seen other reviews on non-business controlled platforms like Yelp and Vitals.com claiming the same falsely diagnosed, permanently affecting surgeries and in some cases lifelong uncorrectable pain due to confirmed "medically unnecessary" surgery. Put frankly, a simple Maryland case search and research of legitimate reviews (Not Anglie's List, as encouraged by the office) will verify that this office has a history of using false surgical diagnoses to cover downtown Bethesda overhead. I find it barbaric and appalling that a first visit simple cleaning as a new patient was already met with false half-dozen cavity diagnoses, I did not think this would happen in Bethesda. I would earnestly advise this office be inspected for other occurring cases of dental fraud and client abuse. Edit: For my protection and privacy, unless Elon Musk is my dad, abg-123 is not a roster-retrievable name. And given this dentist has such an interesting read on MC case search, I find omitting a possible human name, understandable. I think an appointment barely 3 weeks old with 6* diagnosed cavities of a young 20s female is suffice to remember for a small, low turnover office. And dispersement of handing me two 2mg Xanax, unmarked, no doctor name, just wrapped in cellophane, for not wanting to leave paper trail of a prescription pad for an unnecessary procedure, all confirms what every doctor I've spoken with believes. Every single person in my family is a licensed M.D. or J.D. Dental fraud is criminal and a simple Maryland case search shows this business has already filed for bankruptcy and has an entire page of civil lawsuits. The dentist and exact office address were literally sued for TORT/NEGLIGENCE OR HARM, for $5000. Do some authentic research, like I should have. Had I not gotten a second opinion for the ridiculous diagnosis for such healthy orthodontia, I would be sitting here with 6 irreversibly drilled holes in my mouth till the day I die. I guess I left my crack pipe at home; 6 cavities on young 20 something w/ brushing-produced white teeth? Just poor mental planning on their part, and pathetically lacking for a realistic con. Have been a regular patient of Dr. Morris for some 20 years now. He operates as a single practitioner office, but is particularly well equipped and able to offer the latest of modern dentistry. He has provided a wide range of dental services to me over the years -- including routine oral care; crowns (some including implants), veneers, and other reconstructions; root canals; and solutions to periodontal issues. I've found my appointments with him to invariably be friendly and engaging. I have also liked his strong inclination to help his patients practice good oral health and prevention. My husband and I saw Dr. Morris a few times. The appointments were rushingly crazy; he kept wanting to give us our appointments very soon each time after our initial appointment as though there were no other appointments involved. I asked him and his staff repeatedly before scheduling our first appointments and gave our insurance's name and policy to him and his staff before the starting of our first sessions, to be sure our insurance would pay for the services; they both said there would not be a problem. When I asked for the itemized cost of what he would charge our services vs what our insurance would pay before he started, I told him I could only go by what insurance covers which would be 80% and certain Items were not covered according to my policy, he kept deferring and telling me that he would give it to me. Well, I ran out of my patient after he did some of our teeth and no price list was given to us. Before going on any further, I checked with my insurance again. It turned out most of the charges were not paid by my insurance because Dr. Morris was not in the insurance network. We ended up paying around $ 4000 to have just a few of our teeth filled, cleaned, X-rayed, and examined. I know that I didn't do my home work as I should have. However, this doesn't give him the right to rip me off by being very deceptive to us! My husband and I are in the late 50's and 60's and have three children. Combined all of us, we have been going to many dentists. For all of them, the first thing they did was to check off our insurance to make sure it covered at least some big parts of it and let us know. Dr. Morris and his staff (one), however, repeatedly deceived us to do the work that they know the insurance would not cover.

My first visit there was because I was desperately needing oral surgery, and no one else could fit me in for a month. Not only were they able to find a way to see me, but I had the best dental experience ever. I've been going back for regular visits ever since, even though it can sometimes take two hours to make the drive from where I live. Had an amazing experience with Dr.Morris despite coming in with debilitating tooth pain from my wisdom teeth. Not only was it my first visit to his office but he managed to squeeze me into his schedule very quickly. Which is a whole lot more than i can say about some of the other dentists in the downtown bethesda area. From the moment i walked in his staff were friendly and extremely accommodating even though i was a bit cranky from my tooth pain. He even made himself available to me after hours or on the weekend should i develop any complications which i didn't. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family. I cannot be more pleased with Dr. Morris as my dentist in Bethesda!!! He is the best dentist I have had in over a decade!! First of all he corrected faulty fillings that needed attention years ago; he took time to show me my x-rays, and where the fillings were wearing down. He was able to fix all of them in one day in the same visit, which was a relief for me. The fillings were from my childhood and I am in my 30's---so to give you an idea I was overdue for better fillings. Dr. Morris is also the ONLY dentist who properly addressed AND resolved a problem I had for years with bleeding gums. It has been a couple of weeks since Dr. Morris cleaned my teeth with attention to my gums and I am seeing a dramatic improvement, whereas for years under the care of other dentists I was using prescription mouthwashes and paying for antibiotics in my gums that did not help the problem at all. The goodie bag always has an Oral B Pro Health toothbrush, Glide floss, and alcohol free mouthwash which have taken my daily care to the next level. I highly highly recommend Dr. Morris! Always a good experience. I recently had Dr. Morris take out my wisdom teeth and it was a relitivly easy process. By the next day I Was up and back at work. He does a great job of explaining the process as you go through it as well. With a wide range of services available mostly all my work can be handled in the office by him personally. Dr. Morris is the first dentist in many years who was able to help my daughter with a problem she had on her teeth resulting from a trauma to her mouth when she had her baby teeth. He not only fixed it, but asked us if she had a trauma when she was a little kid. We were impressed and happy. Dr. Morris is also easy to work with, his office staff is very friendly and I like that he always does the basic cleaning and exam and lets you know about care he recommends for you, but he doesn't pressure you to get it done right then and there. When I go to my regular check up, I feel comfortable that Dr. Morris is completely focused on me. When he discusses my care, he is definitely drawing on a huge foundation of experience and study. Dr. Morris is very impressive. He takes a comprehensive approach, listening carefully to patients' concerns and explaining treatment options and procedures clearly and thoroughly. Procedures are done quickly and with minimal discomfort, and the finished work is excellent. The office is extraordinarily clean, and his support staff is always helpful. Doctor Morris is very expirienced dentist. He is honest and I trust him completely! I want to have healthy teeth and therefore I visit his office regularly. His office is clean and spotless also I am impressed by technology he uses. I needed a crown and he has all the tools so you don't need to wait or visit his office multiple times. All is done in one visit! His staff is very friendly and helpful. They all take care of you like you are their friend or a family member.Dr Morris is my dentist!

Dr. Morris has been my family's dentist for over a decade. The quality of his work is outstanding, the office is clean and his staff is attentive. He moved his practice to this location only a few years ago, so his equipment is current or new and the facilities are cheerful and inviting. Most pople take their teeth for granted. If you care about yours, I highly recommend Dr Morris. I love the emailed appointment reminders too (they've saved my bacon more than once).
