I went to Mrs. Shekar for the first sixteen and a half years of my life. Currently, at the age of twenty-four, she's remembered by me as the embodiment of a "bad doctor". In fact, she's about the equivalent of a "modern day bubonic plague doctor". I fondly remember whenever I was younger, as a kid, I would come in faking a cough to get out of school. Real doctors can tell the difference between a phony cough and that of "Bronchitis". Of course, back then, it was ideal. However, as an adult, I realize this was proof of her incompetence as well as her inability to properly assess a patient. The fact that she flaunted these ancient 'doctor of the year' awards in her offices for all the years upon which I'd gone to her, it was more evidence how far she'd gone downhill considering that were from the early nineties. Overall, the experience was atrocious. There's no respect for the patients (from Mrs. Shekar), and her "family friendly" tag on Google is a joke. The way she looked down her nose at us locals as if we're hillbilly or redneck trash is inexcusable. She can blame it on her culture all she wants, but, when you get right down to it, it's because she doesn't care about us, only the money in our pockets or our insurance's pockets. After telling my fiancé that there is nothing wrong with his back for over a month. After a night in the er and not being able to walk. We find out he has a severely herniated disc that is pushing up against his nerve! It is now so severe nothing but Surgery will fix.... If she would have properly diagnosed him we would not be to this point! Then.... i tried to get her to refil his prescriptions until we get the visit with the appointment with the neurosurgeon... today is Monday.... his appointment is Wednesday. After the third call I said I was coming up there. 12 minutes from phone call to front door.... the lights were off and doors were locked! I refuse to let her treat people this way! I just had the absolute worst experience EVER trying to communicate my needs and concerns to this physician. She was amazingly rude to me, and completely made me feel uncomfortable speaking with her. Her exact words to me were, “ maybe we have a personality conflict or maybe it’s my culture.” I was in tears at that point and still in need of my medications. I am currently seeking a primary care physician because of newly relocating, and would NEVER recommend this type of non caring personality

This place is terrible..The staff are not friendly.. The Doctor has bad bedside manners she doesn't make the paients feel welcome..She looks down on the paients....this doctor don't treat you for what you came in for she treats you for whatever she wants to treat you for..She doesn't like to prescribed you on your current medicines...it's just an overall bad experience..???????????? The worst experience I've ever had. Absolutely rude,uncaring, unconcerned and hateful. I don't know how this woman is still in business. The most un professional doctor I've ever encountered, truly disappointed she's still practicing medicine. Someone should really investigate her and how she practices.

She is the worst physician in the world. Her license needs to be removed she has no idea what she is doing everything is just your too fat. I have been going to her for over a year and the experience has been horrible. Never go to her she will do you more harm than good.

Terrible

I don't think she even qualifies for one star! When I took my son there, their office needed to be cleaned and updated, the doctor was very rude, and the staff had minimal interaction. I took my son there because he was crying and complaining about his arm and back hurting after spending the weekend at his grandparents. After waiting in the waiting area for about 15-20 minutes, we waited in the patient room for about another 10-15 minutes before she came in just to bend his arm, push on his back, and then tell me he was faking it. I ended up taking him to Wolfsons Children's Hospital and turns out he had a dislocated elbow! I would NOT recommend her to anyone!!!! I don't think she even qualifies for one star! I went and seen her yesterday and she was terrible beyond measure...she wrote me my presciptions and wrote them all on one prescription and also wrote the names of the wrong and when I was alerted by the pharmacist that she needed to correct this problem she said I was red flagged so the pharmacist called the office since the staff refused to and told me they had other things to do and the pharmacist told her I was not being red flagged that she had made a huge mistake.....after she was very rude to the pharmacist she refused to speak to me and all her staff told me not to worry about my records being faxed to them they wouldnt recieve them that they didnt want my sh**......yes it was a terrible experience..I wouldnt take my dog to her....I also have her being investigated!!!!
