Dr Shuster has taken complete control of my glaucoma. My numbers are the best they have ever been. He educates his patients and his employees on every exam. You do not find many physicians who have a personality, but Dr Shuster has one and a great sense of humor!

I just had the most unpleasant experience with a physicians office in my 70 years. Dr. Shuster is a fine physician, but I'm finding another glaucoma specialist after today's visit. I take an 89 year old dementia patient to him. I was given a 2:50 appointment. We were there at 2:30 as requested and did not even get seated in the chair to see him until 4:30. Dementia patients think 5 minutes is 5 hours and is is very difficult to keep her under control for a normal 45 minute appointment. Completely unacceptable since we travel from Chuluota to Maitland and then have to wait that long. They really need to stop overbooking appointments! Years ago I sought your expert care in Orlando (Princeton). Due to distance, a personal visit is not practical, rather I seek a recommendation for PEO (YAG) here in Maryland. As always, your professional wisdom is highly regarded.

The care and consideration Dr Shuster and his staff show to us on each visit are exceptional. My husband has had glaucoma and cataract surgeries on both eyes and enjoys perfect vision. We are so grateful.

Dr Shuster is an amazing doctor and has helped me so much through this process. I had a serious surgery and he has helped me every step of the way. His staff however, has made it impossible to see him anymore. I have done a major operation (baerveldt) about 5 years ago and have seen him 3 times a year ever since. But after all the money they made off my operation and years of seeing them, they want to charge a $50 rescheduling fee for missing an appointment (had no one to babysit). This is a very selfish, greedy, and rude business. They do not care how long you have been a customer or what surgeries you have done. They are also under staffed. Always busy. The wait is always long. Their staff does not care about you. Only their doctors do whom you can not see until you deal with their staff. (5 years experience, i know). And i can't stress this enough. Good doctor, facility is nice. They take too many appointments, it's a long wait and there is too many patients waiting, it's difficult to stay 6ft away from anybody.

This office is AMAZING! Was able to get a last minute appointment with Dr Shuster and the entire staff is just so sweet; we were greeted by professional and beyond friendly staff. During this covid pandemic most are reuse short and just plain mean but NOT HERE! They were very efficient in getting us checked in. Rosali did my moms intake and initial exam and was so kind and tender in her process -- cane to find out my mom and her are from the same country. Dr Shuster came in shortly and had the best attention to detail and even went beyond by trying to practice his Spanish with mom explaining to her the details. Highly recommend!!! One of the kindest physicians I have met. Dr. Shuster took his time to learn my history and listen to my concerns and issues. The exam/consultation was not rushed even though I know he had a full schedule. I was extremely nervous as I was advised by another physician that I would need laser surgery on both eyes. After careful examination, Dr Shuster determined surgery was not needed and advised that he wants to follow up in 6 months just to make sure I am okay! I couldn't be happier with my experience. What a dream team! I traveled a lot and I'm so thankful to be treated by Dr. Shuster. Every time I come for a visit, every team member is super professional, efficient and share the right information. Dr. Shuster is so clear in explaining steps in a process, he is answering in a simple way every question I might have and he is, as well as his team, very supportive and comforting. This is "la creme de la crème".

I've been going to Dr. Shuster for the past 3 years. He is an incredibly kind and patient doctor who actually listens to you and shows genuine interest in your well being. Highly recommended

Dr Jerry Shuster is very professional, responsible and trustful. I saw him last on March 1st, 2019. From washing his hands thoroughly to examining my eyes precisely, explaining and discussing my case patiently and clearly, every detail shows his experiences and professionalism. While staying in some other states for nearly 20 years b4 coming to Florida, I have seen doctors in New York, New Jersey, California and Pennsylvania. Today, I'd like to say: East, west, Dr Shuster is the best.

The best ophthalmologist I have every been to! He is caring and makes sure you understand everything going on with your eyes! You are a person and not a number with him!

I met Dr Shuster at a critical time. I had glaucoma surgery on my left eye in NJ, done by another doctor. After this surgery, I was in danger of completely losing my left eye. Dr Shuster's skills, knowledge and compassion saved and stabilized my left eye. After months of working to save my left eye, Dr Shuster performed a successful glaucoma surgery on my right eye. I came to Dr. Shuster after a glaucoma surgery another doctor did for me in NJ. My NJ doctor installed a shunt that was LEAKING. The pressure in my eye was extremelly low. I was very worried that I would loose all sight in my eye. Dr. Shuster was able to control the pressure and stop the leakage. Thanks to Dr. Shuster, my surgery site is healed and my vision is back to where I can read and even drive. Thank you so much for saving my eye!
