I have been a patient of Katkuri's for over 20 years and today was the absolute worst experience of my life. Show up for my physical and get told I have a past due bill of $80 for my physical last year. Insurance pays it 100% so I let them know it must be a billing error. Their response was to tell me I complained on having numbness in my fingers at my physical and so I was charged an additional office visit. How do you complete a physical without talking about any symptoms? Is double billing even legal??? I will be asking BCBS about it today. This Dr. Katkuri has been one of the best Dr.'s my family. His way of keeping us happy and well is absolutely what we was looking for after a 14year Doctor Change. His staff and nurses and front office are friendly and feel like home with them all!

Dr K is compassionate and brings a world of knowledge. He diagnosed my anemia right away and took blood. Problem solved the next day.

Experience was absolutely horrible. I had an appt set at 3:15 on 8/3/17, was there over an hour with 1 patient in the entire building. I asked the receptionist about the delay, she said they were having problems. I then asked her why I was not informed since I was there because my 3yr old was sick, her answer was that they were having problems (Smyrna office). I then went to the Edmonson pk office, arrived at 4:30 but the office was closed, but the sign says 5:00, pitiful... (FAM CARE OF MID TN)

I think he is very concerned with patients health and tries to get to thw root of the problem instead of just throwing pills at the symptoms.
