I am pleased with the care that was provided to me. She took the time to listen and address all of my concerns and needs. All requests for referrals were processed and I am thankful for finding this gem!

I've been with this doctor for the past 4 years maybe five and I've only got nothing but good to say about her and her staff,

Been my doctor for years and the best around.

I schedule the first appt of the day. 8:30 am. The office staff is there but doctor is not in the building. There are also multiple other people scheduled for the same time. The doctor NEVER is onto. I am waiting 30 minutes so far and she is not here. This happens every time. No one apologizes. No one cares. It is the worst practice I have ever been to. Oh and by the way I get multiple calls and emails to remind me of my appointment. Maybe the doctor should be reminded

I quit going here because she told me to pray for my health! Said was the only thing gonna help me. I told her if everyone could pray for their health and it work she wouldn't have a job! This place has went downhill since other doctors and staff left!

Dr Nowanko cares for her patients and listens to problems your having, looks for solutions that assist you best. Plus she is hands on. Doesn't have assistants do all the grunt work.

I hope she loses her license. Apparently she is another doctor who over-prescribes many controlled substances to her patient's. I wouldn't know because I do not meet other patients outside of her practice to buy or sell the medicine she prescribed me. For whatever reason she suddenly discontinued my ADHD medicine and I've been psychologically sick from the drastic change. My mental state is no longerhealthy and balanced. The person I trusted to maintain my overall health has caused me to suffer greatly and I will consult an attorney so that she is held accountable for the pain and suffering created by the decision she made. Caring front office got me in right away when I was feeling ill. Dr Nwankwo was prompt, personable, caring and efficient! I live out of state and am so happy to have someone here I can count on to care for me when in TN.

Very unprofessional, rude receptionist(fix your face, at least act like you want to be at work), no one should have to wait 2 plus hours and still havent seen the doctor. The doctor is greedy and over booking herself. That is no way to treat patients.

If I could leave zero stars I would. If you are WHITE, they absolutely DO NOT care about you. White people need to find another doctor. You will sit for HOURS waiting to be seen, and when they finally do see you, they act like you are inconveniencing them by needing them, and you leave feeling like you wasted your whole day. They will not care for you. You have to force yourself to be heard. You might as well go to the emergency room. The best tenn care accepting doctor nearby is Krystal reed. Made it very clear early on that she is only a doctor for the money. Charged me 300 dollars for the initial visit. A year later... still have 200 dollar "credit". Schedules visits for 3 months at a time. Doesn't ask when is a good time for me... just schedules it. Will only write prescriptions if you let her charge your insurance for a visit. Pharmacybput in a refill request 21 days before the prescription expired. 3 days after it expired... 15 phone calls... 4 different nurses... 1 of which told me that the fax machine was broken and hung up on me when I asked I'd it had been broken for 3 weeks... if my pharmacist hadn't done me a favor I would have died because we're not talking about pain killers or cholesterol meds... it's insulin. You know... body can't live without it. Will literally die. She finally fills it the day after I take my last remaining dose, but is sure to add in that she won't do it again unless I come in and see her. Which I already have an appointment scheduled... 3 months from the last one... she scheduled it... not me. But I should come see her sooner so that she can charge my insurance. I've never trusted doctors. I've always been told that I was paranoid. That they were actually there to help. With a completely clear mind I can say... that Dr. Nwonko is not there to help you. Saw this doctor as a first time patient. When I made her aware that I was on a control prescription (have been for 10+ years) I was immediately treated like a drug seeker. I was then told by the nurse that I was going to be giving blood. The doctor never said a word about this to me and was very confrontational when I asked her what the purpose of this was. When I refuse to give blood I was told to leave because she assumed I was seeking drugs. I told her that I was just disappointed that she had made no attempt to talk to me about my medical history. I used to go to this physician for a few years, but finally reached my witt's ends some months ago. She was never great, but not terrible. I always felt kind of rushed, but I think it was because she had a lot of patients, and they NEVER got my ins billing right. I always had to correct it. Now she has closed the office in Mboro, the one in Smryna is like a Third World chaotic mess. They hardly answer the phones, most of the front office staff is ghetto and rude as hell. The staff is very friendly and gracious. Dr. Ukpong is knowledgeable, personable, and thorough.

Dr. Nwankwo and her staff always very polite and pleasant. I’ve been seeing Dr. Nwankwo for years and have never had a negative experience with her or her staff.

Very unprofessional staff & doctor......they was quick to ask about payment but slow to take care of health issues. Either she has too many patients or not in it for the best interest of patients.

I don"t understand all the negative reviews. I have had very good experiences in the year and a half I've been going there. And if your on a tight budget they help in that department as well. They are very affordable compared to anywhere I've been in the last decade or more. And all that I have come into contact with have all been easy to work with and very respectful. The doctor and staff are extremely nice. The doctor took her time and really listened to what I had to say. She has gotten my blood pressure and diabetes under control for the first time in years. I can actually see myself getting healthier now with a doctor who really cares about you makes a big difference in your life. The staff is wonderful and will help you any way they can. Went in for a test. They made me wait for 2.5 hours although I had an appointment. Then I went back a week later when they were supposed to give me my results, and waited for an hour, just so they tell me the results are not ready yet. Went in for a third time, and they made me wait again and measured my blood pressure and other things, although I was there only to pick up my results, and finally gave me my results. A month later I realized they have charged me for three office visits!!!!!!!!!!

Worst clinic I’ve ever been to. Dr. Nwankwo at the Smyrna location made a mistake when submitting my documents for insurance, and I ended up being billed $300 (which I ended up paying!) for something that should’ve been free (reported as diagnostic instead of preventative). I called their office at least 10 times over the course of two months. Every time they came up with a new excuse. ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS CALL THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND TELL THEM TO CHANGE THE ONE THING ON THE CLAIM REPORT!

Extremely nice doctor who spends time with her patients. This is the first female doctor I've seen (I'm male), and I was a little reluctant at first. Having seen her several times now, I could not be more pleased.

Incompetent staff. A total mess. Don't go here. It's a farce. The medical assistant does all the work and they are clueless.

Prompt and courteous service. The staff was very friendly and really accommodating to by fast approaching deadline. I would definitely recommend them for immigration medical exams.
