Dr. John P Lubicky

This was by far the worst doctor I have been around. His bedside manner is horrible. He was grumpy. Wouldn’t hear me out and made me feel stupid for my concerns about my daughters foot.

Very unprofessional. He was rude to me would not let me talk. Wasn’t very good with my kid who is only two. Kids will be kids and he did not like that. He wanted me to hold my child the whole time. Bad bedside manners. He would not talk to me a women directly. He had to talk to my husband and when I would ask questions he would ignore them until he would ask. This place is only about the money. I would not recommend him to anyone. Also be aware that a lot of the “positive” reviews are made by the staff.

My child fractured his arm and was taken to a WVU Medical Hospital in Ohio. We planned on going to an Ortho in wheeling that we had been before. A rep from this doctor's office cold called and told me, "Can you get in today by 11?". After telling them no. She called back and asked about a brace, and said if there is a brace they can follow up with this Ortho after a month. Didn't know anything about the patient, didn't know that he had not seen an Ortho yet, but yet wants to offer medical advise over the phone for a patient you aren't seeing? Even if i was considering this Ortho, after this cold call, i no long would ever consider this ortho. I have never heard a doctor's office cold calling someone who didn't inquire into that particular doctor....This is very off-putting. I found that he had a poor bedside manner. Not what I was expecting from someone who specializes in orthopedics for children.

I think this man is wonderful! My son has seen him for 3 different injuries, and every time it has gone perfectly.

My daughter was referred to Dr. Lubicky for scoliosis. We had been to multiple other doctors prior to being sent to him, all of which we were given the same report. The day of my daughters appointment, Dr. Lubicky was very unprofessional. He was making snide remarks to my husband as well as my daughter. He basically stated that the majority of his patients have absolutely nothing wrong with them other than the fact that they are fat. He also stated that all of the doctors that my daughter had been to prior to him basically lied to us and didn't know what they were talking about. His mannerisms are very unprofessional and I would NOT recommend him to anyone. He left my daughter in tears and I will make sure that word of mouth is spread about his bedside manners. If I could rate zero stars i would have.

My name is Miranda Spivey when I was little I had clubbed foot ?? but I loved his surgery and how he straightens my tendon is just wonder ful and it felt good

Awesome doctor. Very knowledgeable.

He is a great surgeon he has done three of my daughters surgeries.

amazing doctor. helped calm me and my mother before my surgery. has been extremely kind at every visit. he is very straight to the point, but dont be intimidated. all nurses are also very kind.

Dr. Lubicky is wonderful. Our son was diagnosed with bilateral hip displasia at birth. Dr. Lubicky performed three surgeries with casting and our son did incredibly well. That was 17 years ago and our son is completely healed. Dr. Lubicky was very pleasant and followed our son for many years. We always appreciated his focus and care, and found him to be a very caring doctor. Highly recommended!

Dr lubicky is awesome

Every1 was very nice and were knowledgeable. The Dr himself was quick about getting the job done and explained exactly what he was going to be doing to me and my son I couldn't have asked for a better experience. A big thank you to the entire staff that took great care of my son

Dr lubicky has been treating my son with multiple hereditary exotoses for a few years now. Lots of people consider him to not be friendly as in the since that he don't come in the room and pretend to me your best friend. Personally that's why I love him! He comes in and he gets right to the point and tells you the best thing for your child not just want you want to hear. He's not afraid of risky surgeries and he's not surgery crazy like but drs!

My son was diagnosed with severe sigmoid scoliosis. Dr. Lubicky was very upfront and clear about what was going on, and what needed to be done. He was very professional, and made us feel that we could trust him. He performed spinal fusion surgery on my son almost a year ago. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Lubicky is the best! He is phenomenal with patients. People fly several states just to be treated by this man. His hand is guided by God. He is a healer. He will do what others refuse to do to ease pain. He should receive numerous accolades!
