I have been a patient there for many many many years! Nowhere else I’d rather be cared, for this is the best of the best in doctors & team!!

I came to Dr. Thurmond by a referral from a friend. From the moment I walked into his office I was treated like royalty. You wonder what happened to personal, friendly service? It's right here. The front office staff, the nurses - all were surprisingly sociable and, apparently, glad to see me. I was taken back, ( within a few minutes) and led into a room and I relaxed preparing for up to a 30-40 minute wait for the Doctor. Three minutes later Dr. Thurmond entered and with a smile and a handshake relieved whatever "White coat fever" I might have had. He listened patiently and we had an actual conversation. He explained the prognosis and made a recommendation - I took his advice. There were follow-up calls and more. Every person in that office is a professional. Dr. Thurmond and his fantastic staff provided me the best medical experience of my life. I will not see any other Doctor. Tops in his field, and recommended to any and all. They don’t have their complete address with their Suite # & their email address?!!!!

He has been my doctor for a long time. He actually listens. And addresses the issues, that concern me, about health .I was in health care, 30 plus years and delt with doctors, on a daily basis, and he's very knowledgeable and has calm concerned manor. I'm planning to have him follow me into my my retirement years. It's very hard to find Dr's who care anymore, and he's one of them. His staff is so very helpful, they address issue's and get right back to you. If you need a doctor, try this physician, you will be well taken care of. He has been my doctor for a long time. I have been a patient for 21 years. Love how Dr. Thurmond, Miss Amy his PA get to the bottom of the problems. They are excellent and hear your concerns.

DrThurmond is very thorough and has a great bedside manner. He answers all my questions and asks about my needs. I am so glad to have found him.

Dr Thurmond is delightful to come and see his staff is kind and on the ball all the time so your visit is short and through

The staff and Doctor very professional. They are also kind and easy going. You fill special and not rushed in comparison to othe doctors.

Dr.Thurmond, Amy, and Rene are fantastic health angels and I have been their patient for 8 years or maybe 9.

My husband and I are full-time RVers with Texas as our home base. We have strong ties to Fort Worth having previously lived here 16 years. Dr. Thurmond came recommended by our friends and we are very happy to have found him. The office is very nice and the staff, friendly and professional. He has an in-office lab, which is very convenient. If I am on the road, I can consult with him via Facetime (which I have done). His nurse practitioner Amy is wonderful . Very knowledgeable and personable.

Dr. Thurmond has been my physician since I moved to Texas is 2015. He takes time to explain my condition and answer any of my questions. He is very thorough and makes sure I am scheduled for examinations when he feels they are needed and monitors my medications through lab work. He is a very caring doctor.

I agree with what Reviewer Jenny and Monika wrote. My first visit was so terrible that I asked for a refund. He agreed to give me one and sent word that it was a busy Monday and he was sorry. As a 21 year diabetic, I have been to several Dr’s in several locations. He was the worst I’ve seen. He’s very nice and pats you on the back tells you to call if you have any problems. People mistaken that for a good medical practitioner. He is Not. His knowledge about treating diabetes appears to come the from the 1980’s. I was due for blood work and he ordered the wrong test and told me to return in 6 months. Jodie, the office manger later told me that they had 8000 patients and with just one MD it was difficult and she was sorry. It also took a full month to receive my refund check. Been my family doctor for 15+ years. Will be recommending this office to anyone in search of primary care!

I love Dr. Thurmond and his Nurse Practitioner, Miss Amy!! Both are great and listen to you. The only reason I give 3 stars is because of the front office staff...horrible service and bad attitudes. I was going to have surgery on my right shoulder. The only information My Surgeon needed was my blood work up that I had had done six weeks before when I had my physical. My surgeon sent a request over for the bloodwork, but the front office staff took it upon themselves to decide that I needed a chest x-ray as well and refused to release my bloodwork. It took over two weeks to finally get my blood work to the surgeon. The only reason they finally sent it to the surgeon was that I was going to have surgery in two days and I threatened to come down to their office and get it myself. The office manager at his office informed me that there was no way I was going to have the surgery, they would refuse to do the surgery because I did not have a chest x-ray. She was rude and wrong.

He seems far too busy to care about his patients... always in a hurry. During my last appointment, he even left the room without completing care and never returned. A medical professional happened to stroll by my room and saw me sitting in my gown (yes, he left in such a hurry that the door was left open) and informed me that the doctor left the office (he actually left for the day) without wrapping up. She informed me that he did ask his staff to take cultures and order tests. I never heard from him again. I called the office 7-9 days after my testing and was told that he had received my results but had not reviewed them yet. I called again and was told my results were mailed and that there was no one available to discuss them. I'd been dealing with the repercussions of this poor care for months now and so, I've decided to write this review. I would wish this type of care for my worst enemy. He seems distracted and does not appear to be listening. He is bad about following up. I guess I am more needy than most :/.

Dr Thurmond is kind, interested in what you tell him, willing to spend the amount of time you need from him and a great doctor. You cannot go wrong!

This Doctors office is BY FAR the BEST I have ever been to. The front staff is extremely helpful and greet you so nicely. I NEVER have to wait for more than 10 min maybe to see Dr.Thurmond or his NP Amy Allemand. I love them both!! They have amazing bed side manner, they’re caring, and truly want to help you. I literally can’t say enough wonderful things about this office! Do yourself a favor and come here! They will always get you in, you never have to wait, and they are so kind and helpful. Dr Thurmond has been my primary for over 10 years and really like him. His new facility is great and he can offer many options now.

I've been seeing Dr. Thurmond for about 14-years and have never had a problem getting a response when I've called, sometime quicker than I've planned. He has always been professional and I truly believe that I have received excellent medical care. He takes time to get to know his patients and most of all he listens. He looks at the entire medical history, does a thorough exam and presents his findings and recommendation. His staff is fantastic. Would highly recommend him to family/friends.

Dr. Thurmond takes time to answer any questions you might have; sometimes no wait in reception area; courteous and friendly staff. I have been his patient about six years and am totally pleased with his care.

This is the best and the nicest Internist in Texas. Dr. Thurmond and his staff are very personable and it is easy to discuss your health issues with him and them. I have been seeing Dr. Thurmond for 15 years and plan to have him as my Primary Care doctor throughout my lifetime.

Always a professional. Thorough and methodical. Congenial.

I consider Dr. Thurmond a very capable, courteous, caring doctor. I would heartily recommend him. He does a very good job on referrals when needed.

Dr Thurmond is great. His staff is utterly God awful. I have high BP, and the medication caused a cough so horrible I couldn't function. I called 12 times in 3 days, left 6 messages, and emailed through the portal before I had to drive to the office and refuse to leave until I was seen to. I have been requesting my records be sent to my new doctor now for 3 months (I've called at least 15 times), and they still haven't sent them. I would highly recommend Dr. Thurmond if it weren't for his staff.
