Dr. Jon Kristian Riggs

Does not care for the symptoms of the patient. Does not have a pleasant bed side manner and does not seem to know chart details prior to reviewing patient concerns. He didn’t even realize I no longer have a gall bladder during the examination. Listening skills are irrelevant to him, I felt as if his arrogance overshadowed anything I had to say. I would not recommend his care nor will I ever been under his care in the future. Hopefully I would not need unknowingly him in a life threatening emergency!

Dr. Riggs was very thorough and caught 4 blood clots that was previously overlooked by another ER doctor in a different network. We are so thankful for his genuine concern for my boyfriends health. Dr. Riggs was not in a hurry and answered all of our questions. Truly genuine!

Dr. Riggs gave us a great experience in ER. Our last trip to MVH ER was not good and he was a breath of fresh air. Thorough and kind. Moved along tests quickly. We appreciated his advice.

Very condescending in the comments made. I was not left feeling as if he took my heart condition for which I had surgery for seriously or had any interest in helping me. I would never let him be my caretaker again. There are many other great doctors at MVH to choose from.

We saw Dr. Riggs in the ER at Miami Valley South yesterday after my husband fell and lacerated several areas around his left eye and fractured a rib. Dr. Riggs was polite, thorough, and conscientious. He took his time and answered our questions. We had been told that my husband's chest x-ray didn't show any injuries but after talking to Dr. Riggs about the pain in my husband's chest, he read the film himself and confirmed a rib fracture. We were very pleased with the care and treatment.
