If Doctor Teynor wasn’t married I’d be all over that man. Just love that guy. He’s got great doctor patient manner. He’s informative, considerate, patient and just an all around great guy. Last but not least I trust his opinion.

I always have great service from TCO. Very timely with scheduled appointments. Dr Teynor give me good information and answers my questions.

Very thorough! Gives me all information to make my decisions. Been Dr Teynors' patient for almost 20 years. Have a lot of trust in him.

Dr. Teynor is great. He has put up with me and my knee problem for several years now and I've never felt pressured by him to have surgery, although I plan to this summer.????I am thankful for him and for TCO.

The folks at TCO and especially Dr Teynor have been wonderful. I had an unfortunate spill that left me with a disrupted ACL, MCL and torn meniscus on my right knee. Dr Teynor thoroughly explained the results of MRI by reviewing the MRI and showing me on a knee model. He explained how he was going to repair it and didn’t sugar coat the recovery. He is a straight shooter but has a good sense of humor too. I was anxious to be on the healing side of this injury and he and his staff were able to get me scheduled for surgery quickly. Also worth mentioning, his Care Coordinator, Mary, was fantastic. She was on top of making sure all my paperwork, insurance information and brace fitting appointments were set up and good to go. Extremely pleased with Dr. Teynor…He exudes expertise and confidence gained from experience and intellect. While only there for a short visit, problem was diagnosed with short and long term mitigation clearly established. Besides all that, he is really a nice guy!

Fast, thorough, friendly

Dr Teynor explained what was wrong and what my options are in a thorough, easy to understand manner. He is knowledgeable and focused on my well being.

Dr Teynor was the worst doctor I have ever encountered. He was rude, had terrible bedside manner, and wouldn’t even answer basic questions I had about my son’s broken arm and cast. I hope the next doctor we see is better. If not, I’ll be going elsewhere next time my family needs ortho care.

Excellent physician, in both and performance. Two rotator cuffs from past sports injury. Rehab was an absolute necessity and was outstanding CW

I am a very active 73 yr old who has put off getting my knee done for years...until 2 week ago today - 6/14. Doctor Teynor was amazing - as were his support and nursing staff. Went home 1 day after and was able to get up my 2 1/2 flights of stairs - to my 3rd floor apt. I rented a Game Ready ice/pressure unit which kept swelling and pain down. no pain meds needed after 2nd day.. Was walking and doing stairs 3 days after surgery. Im at my cabin now doing almost everything without pain. DONT WORRY Doc.. I am being careful. THANK YOU TCO!!!! - especially DOC Teynor & Mary.. He's a very good and nice doctor he done a great job on my knee surgery.

Both my husband and I have had experiences with TCO and have never had a bad experience. We highly recommend Dr. Teynor or any other providers at that organization.

Dr Teynor is an excellent orthopedist who has treated me for hip, shoulder and knee conditions. He was my surgeon for a total knee replacement last year, which has been very successful. I appreciate his ability to explain my conditions and the procedures needed to treat them. I highly recommend him.

Doctor was running an hour late. When he did finally come in, he didn't apologize for the wait. He was rushed - his answers and explanations were short. Not overly personable. Overall, I'm not impressed.

Very positive experience. Pleased that I can go ahead with the surgery so soon.

TCO is the first place I go after suffering a joint injury, and the first place I send anyone else to. Fast, to the point and extremely professional. I’ve been treated by both Dr. Teynor (obliterated knee ski racing) and Dr. Kelly (ruptured biceps playing rugby) and have always been impressed with their frankness and skill. Dr Teynor was great and explained my injury in detail. The problem was I waited in the exam room for over an hour to be seen. Not good.

Dr. Teynor is a skilled surgeon but is also a caring professional who provides clear information to help patients make treatment decisions and feel confident that they are on the best path to solve orthopedic issues.

Everything ran like clockwork. The care team was respectful, efficient, and took their time explaining what they were doing. The healing is going great! I was walking a full flight of stairs within 48 hours and worked as a substitute teacher within a week. Nothing but praise to all involved.

Dr. TEYNOR was very compassionate and gave me a great explanation of where the broken bone was and the importance of keeping it stabilized. Dr. Teynor is the best! He listens carefully to concerns and then explains in detail treatment options. He is patient and thorough. He never appears to be rushed to move on to the next patient. I highly recommend him!!!

...Unique to Joe Teynor as a person, a very competent Orthopedic Surgeon and as a friend is his manner in which he presents himself respectfully to a patient, he listens, proposes options as to how to improve a patients condition and the process...like my father, an Orthopedic Surgeon, told me as I was in pre-med that there were three things that entered the formula of a successful working relationship, they are: 1) you must believe that you have a problem, 2) that the doctor that you have contacted has experience in solving your problem, 3) and that the two of you can, together, 'fix' that problem... ...Joe Teynor is that person, Doctor and friend who can and does 'fix' problems...

Wonderful. On ocassiin had to wait a bit but was always informed as progress and reasons Had my rotator cuff repaired and went well although slowly. I was advised of that from the. Eginning

Good doctor

Went in for pain in my hip and to get a shot to help me. He knows what I need and he makes me feel better right away. Saw him yesterday and already it is 80% better. Dr Teynor is the best.

Once again Dr. Teynor quickly understood my problem and went about taking care of it. I wish I had called for an appointmennt earlier!

Dr Teynor is incredibly intelligent and experienced. Once he understands the issue or injury at hand he's ready to move forward with the solution without dwelling on the problems. I loved that. I think some people probably disliked that (per other reviews) because people have an inherent tendency to think their situation is different from everyone else's and to want to explain it. But the reality is, a lot of ortho issues come from similar mechanisms. The doctor doesn't need to know every detail of the "why", he just needs to fix it. I think if you go in with that outlook you'll love Dr. Teynor. I think if you go in looking for someone to act as a counselor for you, you're going to be put off and upset with him, but personally, I'm paying for an orthopedic doctor not a therapist.

Very comfortable and knowledgeable!

I've been coming to TCO and seeing Dr. Teynor for a number of years now. I'm always satisfied with any treatments I've received and the advice he gives me. He cares about his patients and is pleasant to visit with.

I was so thankful for my assessment with Dr. Teynor as he provided me with thorough education about my knee, the surgery options and aftercare. I have been frustrated in the past when medical providers don't provide education. Dr. Teynor has a practical and compassionate manner and it helped me to feel safe and encouraged about surgery. He was patient to allow time for my concerns and questions and treated me like he cared about my questions.

Couldn't believe what I was experiencing. I had shoulder issues for 10 months before I made an appointment. I felt like I was wasting his time. He is the rudest and most sarcastic doctor that I have ever seen. If I need follow up I will not be seeing him! Why are you still working if everyone seems like a pain in your side???

Dr. Teynor has been my doctor for many years. I trust him completely and have recommended him to many. He listens, is considerate and compassionate.

Dr Teynor has been my doctor for many years. He has been treating my knees with injections to prolong my need for surgery. I trust him have recommended him to all of my family. He has always been a great listener, considerate doctor and truly cares about his patients.

I saw 3 other ortho docs for my hip and pelvis. I really wasn't ready for surgery so none of the others cared at all. Dr Teynor found something wrong in my sacral joint and between medications, physical therapy and an injection Now I am curred He will be the one to replace my knee and perhaps hip if it ever gets bad enough.

I am 60 yrs old and have never in my life had a doctor treat me so HORRIBLE. He did not listen to me at all. He was just rude and kept talking over me, sometimes raising his voice when I would try to talk. Did not care about my pain. I was denied requested RX for pain. He told me it was against federal regulations unless I have surgery. No compassion whatsoever. Very unprofessional !! He does not even deserve 1 star !!!!!

Late, overheard him in the hall reviewing a medical record by saying “blah, blah, blah”. He seemed rushed and condescending. I asked if I could try therapy if there was no structural damage and he said, “no but I’ll be happy to do injection.” He complained about not getting paid enough for MRIs and how insurance doesn’t pay them for tests. He complained about lazy society. I will never let this dr perform surgery on me. Should have waited an extra week for another dr.

Complete and total jerk. Very condescending and insulting. Will not answer questions and has a tendency to contradict himself. Terrible doctor and from other reviews he does poor surgeries. Do not deal with this doctor or his staff. You will regret it.

After waiting two hours and overhearing him ask his staff if there were any "no-brainers" I was finally seen to feel at the end that it was a complete waste of time. Abrupt, rude, condescending, he contradicted himself more than once, interrupted me and assumed totally inaccurate information, told me it was nothing to then saying if it doesnt get better that I need surgery. Well, if I do it won't be with him! Getting a second opinion. Terrible experience.
