Dr. Karen Ann Lund

So many people sharing horror stories, so best not say she is ugly fugly as that diminishes the hardships others had in serious matters of skin.

Dr. Lund is amazing! I’ve had cystic acne for years and she is the only doctor who has taken the time to talk to me about my skin and how to prevent break outs. I’ve lived in Chicago and California and have seen many doctors, and she is hands down the best. She’s also treated both my teenagers and now their skin is beautiful. The staff at the office are always friendly...anytime I call with a question or need a refill, I get a phone call back the same day. Thank you everyone at Plano Dermatology! Dr. Lund is amazing! I'm always happy with the care I receive. Dr. Lund is thorough, and kind. She is easy to speak with, and she listens, too! Great Doctor, highly recommended.

The receptionist scheduling the appointments is the rudest medical office staff member that I have ever encountered in a medical office. I have never been able to get in to see Dr. Lund, so I have have had to go to the PA Patel three times. I came in to be checked and have a biopsy done on my leg which I knew was cancerous. Patel came in and did the biopsy and then, she started to leave. I asked if she was going to check me, and she said she didn’t have time and I would have to make another appointment, but then said she could just look at my back which she took 2 more biopsies. Everything came back positive, so they wanted to me to schedule 3 surgeries? I finally asked if we could do 2 surgeries since the two on my back are just inches from each other, and the one on my leg will be mohl surgery, and they finally agreed after i told them they are just inches apart! While having the 2 places on my back, I asked if she could take a mole off that bleeds that was between them and she said that I needed to make another appointment? I got out to pay and they charged me for 2 co pays and 2 surgeries which I left wondering if that was some kind of insurance fraud? My experience leads me to believe that they definitely prioritize making money over the care of their clients. Dr Lund is knowledgeable and informative. She listens and provides solutions to my skincare issues. Love the staff at Skinnovations, too.

Excellent physician and staff

Arrived 9:15 for a 9:30 appointment. The receptionist made copies of ID and insurance cards and attempted to hand me the new client packet I needed to fill out. Let her know I had faxed them in and she promptly located them. Was called in precisely at 9:30. Answered a few questions and prepped for the skin exam. Dr. Lund came in and was very friendly, informative. Once told I did not have skin cancer, she froze a couple of spots off and said she would see me in a year. Out of the office by 9:45

She is an amazing dermatologist! She is very smart and her staff is incredible!!

I had my initial consultation today. I was so pleased with Dr. Lund and all of her staff! So helpful and kind! I felt like Dr. Lund took the time to listen to, understand, and respond to all of my (many!) concerns! My only complaint was that it took almost a month and a half to get an available appointment, but now I understand why she's so busy - because she's so great! Worth it!

Horrible office staff, very incompetent and rude. Not sure about Dr. Lund because I was refused treatment.

Horrible experience. Office staff is incompetent and rude. I was refused treatment because of a referral I needed from my PCP that the neglected to tell me on the phone. Very rude and could not care less about patients.

Always pleasant - all work is first rate. Post operative care advice has been spot on, and as a result, have had no scarring for skin surgeries performed at her office. - Doug

Excellent doctor. Dr Lund is smart, caring and always gets right to the problem and knows what it is and has the right solution. I would recommend her to anyone needing help with skin issues of any kind.
