Great doctor! I highly recommend him.

Dr Riggi continues to be very attentive and concerned regarding my knees. One has been replaced and another to be done. I have utmost confidence in him.

Dr Riggi cares! He interprets and explains X-rays, discusses medical options, and listens to questions or concerns you have. He has performed L and R shoulder surgeries on me and recently treated knee pain due to severe arthritis with cortisone. You are in great hands! You may need to wait for your appointment, only because he takes time with each person he sees.

Met with Dr. Riggy Friday, and as always he tells you like it is; The problem and your options for treatment. He did my first knee replacement successfully and is helping me along until the next knee replacment. Very satisfied with my first knee replacement and would not think of anyone else to repeat the process.

I was very pleased my first appointment with Dr. Riggi. I was not interested in getting an X-ray right away and he talked me thoroughly through when/how/why for x-rays, he explained my situation thoroughly (love using the paper image on the wall - I'm a visual learner!), and he listened to me. He also used great analogies and was funny. Medicine and health as you get older can be depressing. I was encouraged by my first visit. Thank you Dr. Riggi.

I found Dr. Riggi to be warm and welcoming. We talked about the issue I was having, and he spoke knowledgably about the next steps that needed to be taken.

First time we met and Dr. Riggi was very pleasant and did a great job explaining my knee problems and a path to recovery.

Dr Kayvon is an amazing physician who *really* knows how to explain the problem and the course of action. I definitely feel like I'm on the right path with him. There are times when some of my questions get put at the end, and then we kind of run out of time, so I have taken to purposefully interrupting so that I can get my questions answered. Now that I have figured-out how to get my questions answered, I am very happy with my doctor and my healthcare outlook- both shoulder and knee. Great experience.. Knees are almost pain free after the knee replacements. Dr. Riggi is very helpful, listens and explains everything.

Dr. Riggi explained my knee condition in a very easy to understand manner. I also appreciated the extra time he took to evaluate me and go over my care plan.

would not go back. 2 stars because hes probably fine for older patients and did a standard hip differential. xray confirmed its probably not a stress fracture which is mostly what I cared about. Told them "my right hip had been hurting for 5 days, ran a 20 mile race 1 day after it started and have been training for a marathon." He spent 20 minutes with me, but the first thing he said was that I was going to be tough to work with as I was athlete. Then never asked how long I had been running for or any other exercise I did or even any other medical history. I also have a torn PCL in the right knee, unrepaired, from 15 year ago and he said he wasn't going to even think about a connection between the two, as pain doesn't radiate upwards. Told him about a knot in my shoulder and I go to a chiropractor. I have been assuming the knot resulted from unevenness in my body due to torn PCL. His response was, 'I am going to completely ignore all, and de-mythologize unevenness as a source of knots. because chiropractors don't know anything...' If he had asked I would have said my chiropractor spends literally 30 minutes every other week on massage. When I asked how long it would take to be able to walk again, he kept telling me not to run and that I could walk.... He basically disregarded everything I said and was both patronizing and contemptuous. Eventually I just wanted it over with. At the end the 4 people in the room, his assistant, some observer, and some other assistant/observer person, all left at once. Dr Riggi’s communication with me was phenomenal. He explained verbally what he was doing and what it told him about my condition very clearly. He then went on to explain the next steps and potential outcomes. Knowing what is going on in my shoulder and what can be done to improve it’s function is a relief.

Dr. Riggi was extremely nice , very knowledgable and took ample time to explain in detail both the structure of the knee joint, the medical problems that can be associated with these structures. and options for treatment

Dr. Riggi takes time to explain your injury before surgery and what the recovery process will be like. I just had my 2nd rotator cuff repaired with him (left shoulder 4 years ago), and this recovery was even smoother and quicker than the last. I highly recommend Dr. Riggi as your surgeon, too.

Dr. Riggi is amazing! He gets right to the source of the problem and has a 'no nonsense' approach. He did an amazing surgery on my shoulder and I know my knee surgery will be just as successful. TCO is the only way to go!!

I had a total knee replacement and I will be having Dr. Riggi do my other knee replacement soon. He did a wonderful job in 2016 . Now that I can get my other knee done, I will have to wait for Dr. Riggi to heal from his surgery, so he can get back to feeling better and back to work. He's worth the wait, in my opinion.

My experience with Dr Riggi was excellent. I have a complicated orthopedic history with my knees and he addressed all of them. I was so impressed and felt validated. He also reviewed my entire history, I have seen other providers who didn't take the time to do it. This made me feel safe with him and that he knew exactly what was going on. Fabulous!! Great Doctor

Absolutely amazing. I had a very difficult knee and it is virtually perfect after replacement. He is very thorough at explaining and takes his time with you. Highly recommend him.

Dr. R is simply the best of the best in shoulder surgery and he care post surgery was amazing even calling me at home for updates! 5 Stars Plus!

He brushed me off when I suggested my low back, hamstring and knee pain could be connected, by telling me "that's not real." He is apparently not a doctor that views a patient's symptoms and issues holistically. I did not feel heard or like my problems were really understood.

Dr Riggi replaced both of my knees and did a great job. Surgeries where 9 years apart. He was clear about whose decision it was.

Ahhhhhh! Relief!!! I went in with suspected bursitis; and indeed that's what it was. Dr. Riggi explained my options and without much ado I chose the cortisone shot. It gave relief the very next day and has proceeded to get better. Bullseye!!! Thank you Dr. Riggi!

Staring to work at kneeling, and no pain with kneeling, just don’t like the sensation. I would definitely recommend Dr. Riggi, he’s an awesome doctor very thorough explaining everything to where I can make the best decision. He gives his opinion but he doesn’t impose it on you, he cares and wants the best for his patients. I truly appreciate him as a doctor as you don’t find many who care or take time with their patients anymore. He is very knowledgeable and skilled, I’ve seen a few doctors for my knees he is far the best.

Dr. Riggi and his staff have done everything I could have wanted in accommodating my 8 hour round trip to see Dr. Riggi. I have had several orthopedic surgeon encounters as a 28 year professional firefighter and if I would have met Dr. Riggi 5 years ago I’d be working on my 35th year!

I have been treated by Dr Riggi and his staff for several years. I have had a total knee replacement and one shoulder Rotator cuff repair with Dr Riggi. Both times he took the time to explain what was going to happen and answered all my questions. Dr. Riggi and his staff are very courteous and take the time to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. I would highly recommend Dr Riggi and his staff.

I was referred to Dr. Riggi by another physician for knee pain. He was very dismissive of my problem, interrupted me whenever I tried to speak, and was downright rude. I am a surgeon myself, and would never treat a patient the way he treated me. At one point he actually told me he "did not trust me, because I was the patient." I thought he was joking- he was not. He may or may not be a good surgeon, but he needs a remedial lesson in beside manor. I wish I could refuse payment.
