Every time I reach out to Dr. Toomre, she gets right back to me. When I had Covid, she set up a telehealth appointment within hours. She has a great personality--professional but also conversational. She never rushes me. Contrary to what I just read here, she has always been on time or close. I am very happy with her!

I saw her for the first time after my insurance changed and had some specific questions. It seemed like her medicine was really out-of-date. I asked about weight loss medications (having recently learned about semaglutide) but the only suggestion she had was for an amphetamine, even though I had told her that I was in recovery for drugs and alcohol. I asked her about a specific sexual problem and she seemed uncomfortable and didn't have any recommendations. I understand that nobody knows everything, but she didn't even try to refer me to someone who might know the answers. The final nail in the coffin is that she is really difficult to communicate with. She ignores emails and her office hangs up on me or sends me to voicemail after I wait on hold for 10-15 minutes. Don't recommend.

She's the best. Available.. informative. Super smart.. I cant wait to meet her in person. Turns out family medicine is the way to go...

I have been with Dr. Toomre since we moved to Sarasota in 2003. I trusted her she took her time to listen. She would follow up with a call to my home with results good or bad. I will truly miss her since she moved to Bolder, Co. Would definitely recommend her.

On multiple occasions, front desk staff was rude and demeaning. Wouldn’t let me finish a sentence was always rushing me on the phone and talks to patients in a demeaning way. Krista is professional and a great doctor who is passionate about her patients just wish her front desk staff treated patients better.

Dr Toomre patiently listens (unlike a few doctors I have come across) and takes her time to address complaints in detail. Excellent diagnostician, great demeanor.

Dr. Toomre is a fine doctor, but, she can't stay on schedule. I waited over an hour one time, then for my scheduled physical, I leave work early and wait. After 30 minutes I left. I like her but, the wait is not worth is. She is always behind schedule. Very inconsiderate to others. I get emergencies, but, every time? Come on... I have been a patient there for 5 years. Leaving now.

Dr Toomre is the most well rounded Primary Care Physician that I have ever encountered. I have been a patient for 9 years, and have recommended her often. She clearly understands the "art" of being a physician. She listens impeccably well and communicates in an easy to understand manner. She is well versed and if she doesn't have an immediate answer, she tells you and then investigates. She is relentless in her pursuit of delivering the highest of quality care. A scientist with a heart.

I have been going to ‘Dr. Toomre she started her practice and she is a great doctor! She is thorough and never in a hurry! She’s a good listener and is relentless when determining a diagnosis! I would highly recommend her!

Dr. Toomre is the best primary care Dr. I have ever had! She is great. Wait times are very long for various reasons but I have come to accept that.
