Dr. Lynn A Voss

Dr. Voss is a very intelligent surgeon. This will be my 3rd joint replacement surgery from him.

Dr. Voss is a most wonderful and highly experienced orthopedic surgeon! He is a careful listener and thoughtful with his responses. He is kind and gentle. I have not ever felt that he was in a rush or that he was distracted.

Great bedside explanations and personality, no pain during surgery . Results of surgery will be determined in time

This visit was a follow-up on my knee replacement. I am improving and Dr Voss gave me some tips on decreasing the pain.

As well as being a superb surgeon, Dr. Voss is extremely knowledgeable about everything relating to orthopedics in our area and is personable, kind, perceptive and fun to be around!

Dr. Voss repaired my knee about a year ago, and recently, my shoulder. I find it hard to imagine that there is a better surgeon out there than Dr. Voss. The results he has delivered for me have been outstanding. He is best in class in all areas of his profession in my opinion. He is extremely meticulous and highly skilled at surgery, and I base this on how well and quickly I have recovered. He has an outstanding bedside manner, and clearly communicates detailed information both before and after the surgery to educate the patient. You can tell he is genuinely interested in the patient's well being. You never feel rushed at any point while working with Dr. Voss, and you can feel the care and concern he has for you as an individual. You can tell he is proud of the work he does, and he should be. I appreciate all that Dr. Voss has done to get me fully functioning again. He is absolutely the best in class and a surgeon I recommend without hesitation.

Everyone gave an impression that I was important and they were genuinely invested in helping me.

My wife thoroughly researched doctors before selecting Dr Voss to fix her injuries that occurred from playing a particularly energetic game of duck-duck-goose with her elementary students. I came to Dr Voss to get a second opinion on my knee injury and found that he and his staff are far far better than the previous doctor I had seen. My wife let me know that he will probably be 10 mins late to my appt because he'll be busy patiently working with another customer but will give me all the time needed without rushing anything. As expected I combed through old emails on my phone before Dr Voss came into the room where he patiently took me through the extent and impact of my injuries and the recommended course of action. I got to ask all my questions and didn't feel rushed at all. He explained everything and answered all my questions in layman terms so I had a 100% understanding of everything. Dr. Voss replaced my hip in early April. Two weeks latter it dislocated with much pain. Then it dislocated about five weeks latter again with much pain and ambulance ride to hospital to have it reset for the second time and then I ask him what should be done and he said "lets see if it comes out again". You are kidding me, the pain was searing and again off to the hospital to have me put under to put it back. I started my search for a new Dr who said after taking Dr. Voss hip out and replacing it that the joint was placed 10 degrees off where it should be. Now I can forgive Voss for making a mistake in surgery but is total lack of caring for me from day one was out of the question. After surgery neither Dr. Voss nor his PA came to see me. After running many test he never told me the results in spite of several calls to his office. He never tried to talk to me after the dislocations even when I called his office to tell them what had happened. He still has not said anything to me, it is as if nothing ever took place. For his lack of caring for a patient that was in great pain he could care less. He is patient and really listens. I went for a second opinion and I an glad I did.

I have been seeing Dr. Voss since 2012. He is a compassionate, intelligent, resourceful physician. He is the only orthopedic physician I recommend when asked for referral.

Dr. Voss is amazing. This was my 5th knee operation on an old knee injury. So I had a lot of questions. Dr. Voss and staff did great at answering all my questions. I would highly recommend!

I felt very comfortable with Dr Voss. He explained everything very carefully. Dr Voss told me what my options were and listened to my concerns. The office manager was very pleasant and helpful My daughter had recommended that I try to see Dr. Voss and I was glad that I did. Overall, a very good experience.

Since the mid-to-late 2000s, Dr. Voss consistently received top ratings from patients in "Yellow Scene" magazine--a well-deserved tribute. Whether orthopedic surgery or doctor to patient help, Dr. Voss exceeds the highest standards. He really, truly cares about your physical afflictions and will usually "fix" the problem incredibly well. How do I know all this? I had knee surgery 4 weeks ago and Dr. Voss did an amazing job! He explained everything to me before I went into surgery and what to expect afterwards and it was to the letter as he said it would be. Disasterous

I have been working with Dr. Voss for as long as Coal Creek PT has been in practice which is 18 years. I would refer my mother to Dr. Voss for any and all shoulder, knee, hip surgeries including total joints and any repairs. He is very highly skilled , genuinely caring and committed to the best outcomes for each and every one of his patients. He cooperates knowledgeably with many disciplines to get the best results for his patients whether the goal is to prevent surgery or maximize the results of his surgeries. Went to Dr Voss for shoulder pain. After an MRI I was told by that a bone spur was cutting tendons, I needed to have the spur removed, time off from work 2 days. Post op I was told that an extensive surgery was done, and I needed 8 weeks off from work. Voss said he did not know about this prior to the surgery. I reviewed the MRI with 2 other orthopedic surgeons who said it was apparent that I needed at least 6 weeks off . Voss dropped me as a patient, saying "you signed the consent."

My experience with Dr. Voss was suboptimal at best and borderline medical malpractice at worst. I saw Dr. Voss multiple times regarding a dislocated shoulder and I waited a minimum of 45 minutes to see him after arriving on time for an appointment. Dr. Voss performed shoulder surgery on me and his surgery resulting in osteoarthritis, bone spurs, severe shoulder pain, and no mobility. I had to have a corrective surgery and will eventually need a full shoulder replacement. Stay clear of him.

Dr Voss works out of two offices, so you need to keep that in mind when scheduling. He has done successful shoulder surgery on both my mother and my son. We have been very pleased with him.
