Dr. Fulkerson was extremely helpful in answering my questions and in suggesting options for next steps. She builds trust from the start and her expertise shines through in her interactions and inquiries.

She was attentive, listening to what I had to say. She asked a lot of questions and then was very clear about her diagnosis of the problem.

So helpful and smart and personable. Simply the best! Knows her stuff. For someone at 70 with progressing arthritis it’s nice to have a great pro guiding you. I plan to be active as long as possible.

Dr. Fulkerson listened and was very caring. Hopefully we can find a solution to the chronic muscle, joint arm issues I’ve had l since Covid.

Dr F is awesome! She has an awesome bedside manner and listens to her patients and has a plan of action ready. I was a last minute patient that she was able to see due to my Achilles Tendon tearing the night before and she got me set up for an ultrasound and a surgeon immediately. It’s alway our pleasure to visit Dr Fulkerson, although we prefer stay away as long as possible. Whenever we have an issue, she always took care of us very well. Dr. Fulkerson listens. She is neither arrogant nor dismissive but friendly and caring in tone and manner. No pun intended but she is just what the doctor ordered, the doctor in this case being me, the patient. I suffered non-displaced fractures and a shoulder separation in a bicycling accident. Dr. Fulkerson exhibited both empathy and a welcome sense of humor in consultation with me about these injuries. Doctor Fulkerson has truly been a blessing. She is very invested in what she does and is very kind. She has done surgery on my knee and shoulder and has been very caring and present from beginning to end. I suffer from degenerative disc disease and she has helped me understand why I have the challenges struggles that I do and how I can help better myself. More importantly she has helped me understand disc disease as I am a young man who is having these issues early on. I highly recommend her to everyone and anyone who is having issues’s that fall in her specialties. Her kindness and honesty shines very brightly. I have had my knee drained easily over 30 times throughout my life because of my Crohn's disease, and Dr. Fulkerson is the best physician to do so by a mile. She was incredibly kind and made what is typically a terrible experience fine, which was incredibly impressive. I can't rate Dr. Fulkerson and everyone at the BoulderCentre for Orthopedics highly enough. I have been in the medical field as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for 25 years, and the care, or lack thereof from Dr. Fulkerson is extremely disappointing. I would NOT recommend her to anyone seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon for evaluation. I was a patient of Dr. Fulkerson for my Work-Related injury to my shoulder since January 2020. From January-July she absolutely did nothing to treat me for my injury. She did not prescribe me any medications or treatment for the 6 months I was a patient of hers, while I was experiencing extreme neck and right shoulder pain. She did suggest to blindly inject my shoulder without proper imaging prior to, which if she did insurance would likely not pay for it. Thank goodness I knew better to refuse her suggestion. When she was asked to fill out a Work-Status form for my disability, she stated that I could work 6 hrs/day at my job. I am Temporarily Total Disabled and this totally contradicts every doctors evaluation I have seen prior to her. This makes me think, although I was seeing her as my designated workman's comp doctor, she did not know me as a patient or understand my occupation as a Prenatal Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. The MRI's eventually showed several shoulder abnormalities, and I am shocked to think my "Shoulder" doctor believes that I could still perform my occupation 6 hrs/day as a Sonographer. On top of that they charged me $40 for incomplete work status forms. I have called several times to try to resolve this and I never get a return phone call. What I have gotten from this office is they are very busy, they do not take the time to connect with you personally to understand your injuries, and all they care about is charging you or your insurance with anything they can come up with. Complete shoulder replacement 4 months ago. I now have Full use of the shoulder including overhand motion such as throwing a ball. Have finished PT with full motion. Will return to Tennis in the next month. Staff was always cordial and responded to my needs when I called in with questions. Lorri Fulkerson and Sarah Kadlec preformed a very difficult procedure, due to the condition of my shoulder prior to surgery with excellent results. I've been pain free since shortly after surgery . Dr. Fulkerson has been wonderful. She first recommended an MRI for my shoulder issues, but I pushed for physical therapy first. After five visits to PT, I was not progressing. I took her advice and had the MRI, after which she was able to diagnose my condition and recommend a Cortizone shot. The shot did wonders. I am now heading back to PT and recovery thanks to Dr. Filkerson’s expertise and experience. Dr. Fulkerson has been wonderful. Dr. Fulkerson is one of my heroes! She repaired a nasty open compound fracture of my right tibia back in 2006 that required the insertion of a rod and screws, and my leg has been strong and normal ever since. Today I went to see Dr. Fulkerson for diagnosis of a shoulder injury that luckily is just a sprain. My experience was that I was treated respectfully, in a timely manner, and thoroughly examined which included X-rays, and muscle testing by Dr. Fulkerson. I think she is a brilliant orthopedic surgeon and doctor! Dr. Fulkerson is one of my heroes! Dr. Fulkerson is fantastic! She’s very thorough in her explanations and very open to discussing options and what she feels is the best solution. Her staff is great as well. I’ve had very positive experiences thus far with all aspects of the practice.

Dr Fulkerson is very thorough and incredibly kind. She’s also a very skilled and experienced orthopedic surgeon. The entire office is very efficient, everything you could possibly need is right on the premises, the doctors, PT office, MRI facility and outpatient surgery center. They even have a small store where you can buy medical equipment and supplies you may need to facilitate healing. My knee surgery experience was great, and I would highly recommend this place. I had an ACL replacement done by Lori in 1999 and it has lasted 21 years with no issues’ she did a great job with the surgery and the aftercare I my opinion and I was extremely happy with her practice’ .

I had a full knee replacement in May of 2018. I interviewed two other surgeons. I found Dr. Fulkerson more than willing to explain the procedure and answer questions, and I had questions. Her whole team was very supportive and the anesthesiologist listened to my concerns and helped me through my anxiety. I found the two weeks of in home therapy very helpful and I regained full range of motion quickly.
