Dr. Mark L Hagood

My husband had surgery with him and he's still snoring and the whole thing was a total waste of time and money. We'd been better off but a special mattress than him having this useless surgery. BIG REGRETS ALL AROUND.

Don't waste your time going to see Dr Hagood because that's all you'll be doing is wasting your time. My first two appointments with him I did not get seen until well after an hour of waiting past my scheduled appointment time. On my third and final visit, I just walked out after waiting 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time.

DR. Hagood is down to Earth. Talks to everyone in a tone of understanding and professionalism. He is genuine and wants to help. I would recommend him to everyone!

I highly recommend Dr. Hagood. He is fantastic!

My daughter is 2.5 years old, she got her ear tubes put in here at 1 year old. My daughter woke up this morning crying about her ear hurting, I called to make an appointment here to look at it and they can't see me for a week and a half. They don't make emergency appoinents for their own patients. Don't go here.

Dr. Hagood diagnosed my ear issue as being a brain leak. Never heard of CSF. I've been to 5 ENT Drs in 5 states. He's the first to identify root cause.

Love Dr Mark Haygood! He helped me out after hearing loss following Bells Palsy in one ear. He put in implant. I received hearing device yesterday. Wonderful! I have hearing in that ear again. I had a great experience with Dr. Hagood. I was suffering from sleep apnea and snoring. He performed the following: bilateral inferior turbinate submucosal resection, septoplasty (bone spur removal), and repair of lateral wall stenosis with vivear vs. latera. The results were remarkable. I have not been able to breathe this well in decades. My wife reports I rarely snore. I am sleeping much better. The pain from the process was not that bad either. Took weeks to get a appointment, Drove all the way from Ardmore for his to say it’s nothing he can do for a infant when he got the referral weeks before she came!!! Drove across town just from him to come in the room for 5 minutes and Prescribe a nasal spray that’s over the counter????something I could have just did on my own!!! Dr Haygood and his staff are wonderful. He spend a year rebuilding my inner ear in steps..Each visit and every office visit I was treated as I was his only patient. Thank you guys for your not selling me a set of hearing aids but solving the problem. Best ENT in town.

Had deviated septum and sinus polyps. Dr . Hagood and his team are Awesome to say the least. Had 1 minor issue and he was on top of it instantly. post op and recovery went just as he explained . Great personality and bedside manor.

Love Dr. Hagood and staff!!! I have been seeing him since the mid 1990's. I have had several surgeries done by Dr. Hagood and each experience has been great! 2 nasal surgeries, 2 ear surgeries, and thyroid exam. Everything explained in detail, always treated with respect.

My first visit was today and naturally one has to fill out paperwork. Dr. Hagood and his staff are amazing and very professional. He took the time to explain everything he was doing during treatment making me completely at ease.

Excellent experience with Dr. Hagood. He removed a thyroid cyst and half of my thyroid. He is a good natured doctor and listens well. Surgery went easily.

I found Dr. Hagood to be very caring and concerned for my wife’s well being.

After waiting for 1 hour and 40 mins I finally saw Dr. Hagood just to be treated with condescending attitude. He seemed more concerned that I might have something contagious then even investigating what was causing my issues. Very disappointing. Would not recommend him. He clearly had too many patients scheduled and was rushed.

I went in for ringing in my ear and dizziness. This doc didn't exam my ear only stood at door and talked to me as if I had the plague. Recommend a hearing test and hearing aide but never examining my ears. They called me to cancel my surgery one day before it was scheduled due to a scheduling mishap. However, the doctor did end up personally putting me on the schedule for the surgery after talking with me.

Just had nasal related surgery yesterday and Dr.Hagood and his team are the best.

Dr. Hagood, and his staff are very professional. He and his staff are a great team! Special thanks to his RN Ashley! Very capable, and caring Nurse.

From the initial appointment until my sinus endoscopy I have been very disappointed. Dr Haygood made me feel like he was rushed and needed to move on to the next patient, like I was just a number. The sinus procedure he performed was the most pain I have ever experienced, and he never stopped to offer more medication to numb. I worked in the medical profession for 30 years and know this is not an appropriate way to treat a patient.

Maybe ok for an adult, but please don’t take a child to him. Take your child to a pediatric specialists in Birmingham. My two year old son vomitted 4 times. He is too rough and I hope I never see him again, let alone let him perform an operation on my toddler. Good luck.

I had problems for years but Dr Hagood take care of the problem that has not returned.

Dr. Haygood was a God send to our family. He listened to my concerns about my son’s reoccurring strep throat. He took the heat from our EX-pediatrician and did what was best for our son. Looking back at photos my son was a very sick little boy until his ENT surgery. We now live out of state and Dr. Haygood still gets praised in conversations. He also from a deformity in my ear that had caused an ongoing problem.

Dr haygood is an ??. The staff was wonderful with explaining the procedure, smiling faces, and care for my daughter. The procedure itself was quick and my daughter had a same day recovery!!! Thanks Dr Haygood!!! Bless you

Dr. Hagood is awesome. Very professional, knows his stuff, and he has demonstrated that he genuinely cares about my well-being. His staff has also been very pleasant to deal with.

Dr Hagood is the best of the best. He has taken care of my son since he was a baby needing tubes, a preschool student with tonsil and adnoid issues, middle school with a ruptured ear drum from horse play in the pool to a high school wrestler with an ear injury. Every crisis he handles with a manner that makes you know everything will be ok. I am so thankful for him and would and have recommended him to anyone.

Dr. Hagood is a great doctor and helped me when my original ENT brushed off my concerns. After a year of suffering I now have a diagnosis and treatment plan. He is professional and straight to the point. His nurse is very sweet and takes her time with you.
