The registration process was a bit redundant. Prior to your appointment you spend time filling out and submitting everything online, only to be greeted by a sign in machine requesting the exact same information already submitted. However, Dr. Cantrell and his staff were amazing. The flow of patients in and out of his office was very efficient.

Dr. Cantrell took his time explaining the different options that were available for my third shoulder surgery. The procedure went well and doing great with my therapy. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

I was VERY worried that as an overweight middle-aged woman, an orthopedic surgeon would be dismissive and uncaring toward me. I’m very pleased to say that Dr Cantrell has been extremely kind, caring and professional. He explains things well, listens to what I have to say and is not pushy at all. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Excellent doctor. Has great doctor/patient skills and always makes you feel like you're his most important patient. Explains everything in detail and patiently answers all questions (I had written down 16 questions on my first visit and never felt rushed). His calming presence leaves you with a sense of confidence. No wonder he comes so highly recommended.

Dr. Cantrell has performed 3 surgeries on me and all 3 have been very successful and have improved my day-to-day life. He always explains what is going on and how it will be repaired, then follows up with details regarding what to expect post-surgery and throughout recovery. Exceptional doctor, great guy and I would have no reservations about seeing him again if I have future issues.

Dr. Cantrell performed arthroscopic surgery on both of my knees several years ago to repair meniscus tears. I told him the symptoms that I’m currently having and he knew exactly what to do. He didn’t waste any time and ordered imaging so he can see the best course of action. He has a very relaxed and easy going demeanor that makes painful situations a little less stressful.

Dr Cantrell repaired my rotator cuff and bicep tear. He is extremely courteous and professional. I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Professional and tells you what to expect and what not to. I've been walking with a limb for 3 weeks. He reviews MRI and X-ray results. Gave me a shot and meds. Never discussed to go under the knife which I feared most. He looks honest and I'm sure I'm in good hands. My NP also mentioned that I'd be lucky to have him. Thank you Dr Cantrell. Dr Cantrell has always been understanding about my knee injury. He is always honest and lets me know what is the best way to handle it. The shots are helpful.

Doctor Cantrell checked for obvious swelling, and other concerns. He advised the I probably strained my muscle. We will continue to monitor.

Dr Cantrell is a great doctor. He is very knowledgeable and very patient oriented. I had rotator cuff surgery which he found a torn bicep during it. He fixed my right shoulder and arm up.

My daughter actually asked me if he did YOGA because he was so calm and just has a way of making you feel like you are his most important patient of the day (we all know he is super busy and has tons of patients daily) Dr Cantrell is the best!

I am a US Air Force veteran and have been anxious about an operation concerning my right shoulder rotator cuff. After my appointment with Dr. Cantrell today, I feel confident and at peace to proceed with making the appointment for my surgery.

He asked questions about my condition, listened, examined me, explained my condition, and gave me an alternative to total knee replacement surgery for now. He also provided me with therapy exercises that will help strengthen my leg muscles. I highly recommend him.

Out of all the doctors I've seen Dr. Cantrell is my favorite. He is very polite and has the best bed side manner. He listens to what you have to say, you can tell he is a very caring person.

Dr Cantrell has a wonderful bedside manner. He was very thorough and answered my questions and spent time with me. Since he is surgeon I assumed he would want to operate but he didn't.

Dr. Cantrell is straight forward to the point about your injury, surgery, healing and time frame for it.. He's soft spoken and asks you questions about your feelings and any issues you may have. He talks to me and not at me when discussing any issues. I will always see Dr. Cantrell as my orthopedic surgeon and will tell all family and friends about his expertise.

After arriving at 7:50 for my 8:00 appointment I sat waiting until 8:30 when I approached the front desk and asked if I was on the waiting list. The lady looked at her computer and said they were cleaning a room for me. I waited another 15 minutes and asked again what was my spot in the line and how many times has she used the excuse of a room being cleaned. About two minutes later I was shown to a room where I sat for another 15 minutes waiting. I then opened the door and asked the nurse standing there if Dr Cantrell was in, She replied yes he was and asked what was my problem I said an hour was a little too long to wait and she continued doing something on her computer and she said would tell the doctor. After a minute or two. Some guy came out of a room and she told him I was waiting for the doctor. He made a semi snarky comment when I said I have been there for over a hour waiting and that it took the doctor less then 5 minutes to tell me I needed surgery but he could not take 5 minutes to see how I was doing. After he did some paperwork he said HE would see me now. He told me who he was ( I don't remember if he said 'the assistant' or 'the PA or what his title was) . He spent 5 minutes looking at my shoulder then telling me all looks good. He said if needed make an appointment for 5 weeks from now. I DID NOT SEE THE DOCTOR I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR MY FOLLOW-UP. Hence the one star review.

Had total knee replacement done yesterday. The entire staff was excellent! I had a pre existing pain management issue and they all went above and beyond to make my overnight stay as best they could. I wasn't the easiest patient but they took care of me like I was family! GREAT JOB DOC AND TEAM! THANK YOU!

This is a person you hope you never need to meet but will be lucky if he’s there to put you back together if you do. I had a pretty bad arm injury. A fellow surgeon at the TOC who preformed so magic on my wrist & hand reffed me to Dr Cantrell to fix the remaining of my injury. Dr Cantrell provided me with all the information of what to expect, answered all my questions and not to jinx it… I have regained full range of motion and hopefully full strength. I still a long road to 100% but, without him, I never would’ve been this far! He’s an amazing surgeon, and you couldn’t be in better hands in his care!!! Excellent doctor who was very easy to relate to and communicate with. He answered all my questions. I had a partial knee replacement and the surgery went without complications. Six weeks later and I have no pain in my knee. Still gaining some strength back in that leg which is typical but I expect to be fully recovered rather quickly.

Dr. Cantrell is punctual and patient, listens to your concerns. He has done surgery on both my left shoulder and left knee with wonderful results. I trust Dr. Cantrell to take good care of me! :-)

I had an early appointment so there was no problem parking. Only had to wait a couple of minutes in the main lobby area, after checking in on the kiosk. After X-rays, an assistant came in first to talk about my problem and give me some options. Then the doctor came in and talked and gave me his advice on treatment and possible MRI evaluation. Was not a bad visit at all.

I met Dr Cantrell about 3 years for a referral for rotator cuff surgery. He does not make you feel rushed and listens to your concerns.

Dr. Cantrell is very direct and listened to all my answers to any of his questions. He is a soft spoken man who put me at ease immediately. He explained any and all procedures that are in my future. I feel I am in great hands with this surgeon.

This is the worst doctor I have seen before. He has the bedside manners of a leech.

I've been a patient of TOC in the past with a different issue, so when I needed to see a physician for this orthopedic problem, there was only one choice for me; TOC! This visit didn't disappoint! Dr. Cantrell and his staff are top notch! I had a fairly simple issue but it was a pretty big deal to me and very painful. Even though this wasn't very serious, I feel Dr. Cantrell really listened to me and was concerned and wanted to provide a plan that would give me maximum relief. I am happy that he wanted to take a very conservative approach and after a cortisone shot and a knee brace, I felt so much better in just a few hours! On a side note, The gentleman ( I apologize, but I don't remember his name) that gave me the cortisone shot was excellent! I've had a few of these over the years and that was the easiest, most pain free shot I have ever had. Also, I was fitted for a brace while I was there to be sure I had what I needed and it fit as it should. That's a nice touch and saved me a trip or an online search. As always, Dr. Cantrell listened to my concerns and we agreed on a Conserva treatment plan that works for us both. Had my left shoulder repaired last fall and it’s feeling great. Now it’s time to fix the right and I’m confident Dr. Cantrell will take good care of it.

Dr. Cantrell has a very easy going nature, yet saw me promptly. I was in and out of the office within 20 minutes and that included getting x-rays done. He didn't rush through my visit and took the time to listen to me and thoroughly address all my concerns.

Quick and efficient

Problem area of shoulder was identified by two separate physical examinations. First the by the RN or NP and again by Dr. Cantrell. I arrived a little early resulting in no wait time. In and out within a half hour. All staff involved were professional and competent.

In and out with X-rays in 30 mins. Totally blown away! Beautiful office and super kind and gentle drs.

My experience with TOC was great! I was late for my appointment due to my misunderstanding and they still worked me in. Dr. Cantrell was extremely nice and very thorough. I highly recommend him. Dr. Cantrell’s staff was also great.

Excellent care

Dr. Cantrell found an issue that has been bothering me for more than 2 years. He explained what was wrong and made me feel at ease with the process to fix it. I highly recommend Dr. Cantrell and his team for any orthopedic needs anyone might have.

I appreciate the fact that, even though I would be a candidate for shoulder replacement, Dr. Cantrell offers solutions for delaying the surgery, including natural alternatives for reducing inflammation in my shoulder. He gave good advice and assured me that the joint damage is not causing other problems, such as damaging the rotator cuff or other soft tissue.

Not my first time to see Dr. Cantrell and from the first visit I had with him to this visit he has been very informative about what was going to take place with my injury and couldn't ask for a nicer person.....

Seen quickly and x-rays taken quickly. Follow-on appointment scheduled within a week to view MRI results.

Dr. Cantrell’s bedside manner was above anyone else’s I had ever experienced. He was gentle yet thorough. Went in for a knee injury. Had x-rays, visit, and brace fitting all done within 45 minutes. Cannot recommend enough.

Dr Cantrell is a Professional. This is my second surgery he has performed and as before I got Great Results. I tell all my family and friends. Thanks again.

I got an appointment within a week, which is almost unheard of for a specialist. It's early as far as a full diagnosis, but tests and injection were done immediately on first visit, no delay. My issue is getting investigated rapidly!

I saw Dr. Cantrell about my right shoulder which I strained 3 months ago and continues to cause me some pain. I told him the recent history of the shoulder and how I strained it, and then he had me reach overhead, behind my back, etc., and he concluded that a conservative approach of physical therapy would be the best approach for now, especially since it has improved somewhat after I've been icing and resting it over the past few weeks. But if it does not resolve after a couple of months, then I'll return for further evaluation.
