Excellent bedside manners from Dr and assistant. Nice Dr very knowledgeable.

Dr. Lightfoot is a tremendously knowledgeable doctor! She has helped me so much. I drive 3 hours to see her. BUT, you need to know how she sees you and how her staff operate or you will be confused. It most cases you will see her approximately 10 minutes. You must understand her protocol and be prepared.

She is extremely knowledgable, patient (I'm a talker, didn't cut me off, let me get my words out) and listens. She is very to the point and perhaps people take that the wrong way... personally spending 30 years in the Military, I love people who speak like this. I want the facts and not all the other mumbo jumbo that comes with it. I went in for a Kidney Stone, she had her nurse do a bladder check, urine sample and an X-ray with a follow up plan. She even personally called me to go over results from the X-ray. Don't believe the negative reviews on here; you can trust Dr. Lightfoot and her staff. I also thought the staff up front (Check-in) was pretty decent as well.

I have been suffering with chronic UTI infections for years. Dr.Lightfoot is the ONLY doctor I've met that is knowledgeable enough to know about the complexity having hEDS adds to detecting a urinary tract infection. Dr.Lightfoot has also been the only doctor able to eliminate my symptoms for months straight. I am confident that in her care I can get rid of these awful infections once and for all. She is efficient and to the point; I think some reviewers conflate this with being rude, when that is not the case at all. If you are looking for a social visit, go elsewhere- this is a doctor's office. If you want a doctor that will address your issues in a timely and kind manner, this is a great place. The medical assistant and front office staff are good at their jobs as well.

NURSE & DOCTOR WERE RUDE. Dr Lightfoot was RUDE, HATEFUL came in with arms crossed and said “what’s your problem today “. They administered a sonogram. They didn’t tell me the purpose let alone what they saw! Dr Lightfoot came into exam room, checked my bladder physically. Literally THREW a BladderMatters book in my direction and gave me an Rx to try. She said if prescription doesn’t work there are many more to try before surgery. She was literally trying to run out of the exam room. I had to stand in her way to stop her long enough to ask a couple questions. Worst doctor and staff EVER. I plan to file a complaint with the appropriate medical board. If I had read all the reviews, I would have canceled before appointment and not stepped one foot in that office. My experience with the front desk upon check-in was not great. My 1st visit, the nurse checking me in has a very demeaning tone. She made me feel like i was bothering her. My experience with Dr. Lightfoot was great. I was extremely nervous and anxious, but her approach to patient care took the edge off and made me feel hopeful. Although the procedure wasn't pleasant, Dr. Lightfoot and her assistant was. The back office staff upon check-out was warm and pleasant. My experience with the front desk upon check-in was not great. Dr. Lightfoot and her staff are exceptionally professional and friendly. She has taken care of me for a couple of different issues. I have always been so happy with her explanations of what is going on with my body. Her treatments have always worked great to end my problems.

First time meeting her. What a nightmare. She comes in the exam room and only stays for a few moments before she’s out the door. Wanders back, then she’s out again. She can’t seem to stay and have productive, professional conversation with me. ADHD? Unfocused, interrupts and doesn’t give you time to think of questions let alone ask them. She may have knowledge, but she’s not able to sit still long enough to get a good history and share any wisdom. Absolute nightmare. If I could give zero stars I would. Dr. Lightfoot addressed my issue competently and efficiently. Gave me confidence that my symptoms could be controlled and lessened through a combination of treatment methods.

I had a productive visit with Dr. Lightfoot. This past month I continued with my PFE (Pelvic Floor Experiences) at home which we’re recommended by Dr. Lightfoot in January. I received my Biofeedback Therapy from Ms. Gabby Guerra in January and this process has helped me tremendously. The office staff also did a great job of keeping senior citizens, like me safe while being kind. Thanks to Dr, Lightfoot and the staff for taking care of me. Respectfully, E. I was a new patient going to see Dr Lightfoot. I was there for a consult from another dr. She came in and immediately reassured me that I was fine and not to be concerned about my issues. I would NOT recommend this urologist to anyone. A referral was given for this doctor after the discovery of a very small kidney stone. Due to UTI symptoms, Dr. Lightfoot suggested a "culture" to determine the diagnosis. During the office visit, it was learned that another procedure was being performed instead (without consent) and without any pertinent before care instructions or prep. No local anesthesia or numbing medication was provided. No antibiotic or after care education or instructions were provided either, verbally or written. After researching the experience, it was discovered that it was a cystoscopy, a surgical procedure that was performed. What kind of doctor would not adequately explain to a patient about a surgical procedure beforehand? Or what kind of doctor would mislead a patient into believing they were coming to the office for a culture test, when in reality it is a surgical procedure? According to the research, there are some specific instructions a patient should follow in anticipation of a cystoscopy. No guidance provided. The procedure was very painful, and the side effects were awful. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Lightfoot has no bedside manners, she always seems to be in a rush and shuts down and becomes irritable, when you try to ask follow-up questions. After reading the Google reviews here, there seems to be a pattern of responses indicating similar negative experiences with Dr. Lightfoot. Most of the 1 star, or negative reviews seems to be from individuals of either Hispanic, middle eastern, or Indian descent. I don't know what all of those individuals have in common, but it is worth taking notice of. Should you decide to visit with this doctor, be sure to get ALL your questions answered up front and refuse to participate in anything unless she explains it to you thoroughly or is communicated in writing. It is unfortunate that anyone would have to go to such lengths with a physician that has been hired to provide care or a service to a patient, but there is just too much at risk to leave it up to this expert. Dr. Lightfoot is a great physician. She is no nonsense and direct. I like that in a doctor. The office is efficient - my only problem is that I frequently get turned around in the building. That is on me not the doctor!
