Have been going here for several years and it is a wonderful medical facility. Dr. Johnson is a thoughtful and compassionate doctor. He will make time to answer any questions you have for him The nurse practitioner are very thorough in their examinations and extremely helpful. My brother passed away on May 11, 2021. The life insurance company contacted this office over a period of nine months for the release of his medical records. I had to contact the Alabama Board of Directors Medical Examiners and have them get involved in order for the office manager to release this information to the insurance company. I was impressed with the changes at my last visit. I had big concerns regarding some of the staff, the inability to get needed information, etc. hopefully with the new staff, things will run smoother

We’ve been patients for over 12 years. Husband was seen by NP a a month ago, she informed us he has had high blood pressure since the previous year. The medical staff never told us nor put him on any meds.

Dr. Michael K. Johnson is the best physician I have ever encountered. He has a wonderful staff who genuinely care about their patients. He is very logical and methodical which enables him to diagnose the most meticulous discrepancies in your medical profile. He cares about his patients. He praiys for his patients.

For my well patient checkup with Dr. Michael K. Johnson, I arrived a few minutes early. There was virtually no waiting between my check-in and my being called to go to the examining room. The staff folks were pleasant, efficient and friendly. In the exam room, Dr. Johnson moved his computer screen so I could see the results of my blood tests as he interpreted them for me. He explained the purpose of each test: what the numbers signified, what changes (if any) were revealed, and what he recommended for my health regimen relative to each blood test. After the exam I met with a medical assistant to schedule my next appointment with Dr. Johnson. The medical assistant was helpful in scheduling my appointment, asking my preferences and scheduling a date and time that will be convenient for me. The worst staff ever. Expectly the NP. Rude, very rude. I almost died if I didn't go to a walk in clients and found out my oxygen was very low. They Send me to ER. I had covid pneumonia.

All members of the practice team that I met were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and timely in meeting my medical needs. Dr. Johnson is thorough and takes the time to explain lab work, tests, and his decision for his conclusion to any diagnosis.

Called at the last minute to get my labs done due to my work schedule. The staff was friendly and more than accommodating. Did not feel I was imposing on them. I really appreciated their efforts.

I have received such intentional care with the Doctor, NP & Staff! Wonderfully clean facility, positive and gracious disposition from staff. Very upset. Myself and a friend was referred and had nothing but bad service. My friend went 4 times and still haven’t been seen 1) first appointment had blood work and initial visit, $30 2) Second appt was to get results of blood work but appointment was cancelled and rescheduled because doctor was in an important conference call 3) third appointment waited over 2 and half hours and left, paid $30 4) fourth appointment went in and guess what...she said we tried to call to reschedule because the doctor is not here..... Enjoy the fact when going to see Dr. Johnson it's all about you. Staff is friendly, but I've to admit the wait time is a bit lengthy, but this is something that I was well inform of when becoming a client/patient, thank goodness that I'm a patient soul. None the less Dr. Johnson is very excellent at job, has a great deal of care about his clients and responds well to certain and any and all questions. My visits are always great. I've been a patient for over 16 years. The Medical care is first class. Dr. Johnson takes the time with each patient and provides thorough details pertaining to your condition. He's a great Dr. and he really cares about his patients.

Dr. Johnson cares about his patients. He has demonstrated expert knowledge in various medical conditions. My health has improved greatly in multiple hematology, digestive, and autoimmune issues. He always answers after-hours calls in a reasonable time frame-- even on weekends. The staff is awesome!

I really appreciate having a Doctor like Dr. Johnson. He is genuinely concerned about his patients and he is a Doctor who has your physical, as well as, your emotional welfare at heart. I like that he practices preventive medicine as he gives attention to your overall health. My wife and I have been his patient for well over ten years now and we have found him to be one of the most thoughtful and overall great Christian gentlemen in that we have ever been around. We really appreciate you Dr. Johnson and thanks for being our primary care for physician.

I tried to call 7 times this week and it said they were closed during the stated business hours. Go to someone where they care about their patients, not here. I've heard from multiple sources that this doctor is the very definition of a piece of garbage. After dealing with this place, it's obvious his staff is the same.

Takes entirely too long to be seen by the dr. Arrived at 3:45 for my 4 o'clock appointment and still hadn't been seen at 5:30. I've tried to be patient but sitting for for almost 2 hours is unacceptable.

Dr Michael K Johnson prescribed 180 Opiod pills a month for 7 months to my 82 year old mother who did not need pain medication stronger than Tylenol. The particular drug is not approved for use beyond 5 days. She almost died as a result. Her bowels were so impacted, they were shoved up into her lungs and she vomited feces. This Dr is clearly incompetent and a danger to nursing home residents. He is the Medical Director at Whitesburg Gardens and North Alabama Hospice. If I could give a 0 I would. I went to this office and the office manager, which happens to be the dr’s wife, charged me $215.00 with insurance which I paid out of pocket. Usually when the claim is submitted and u paid too much every office I’ve ever gone to will cut me a check back for the overpayment. Well this place won’t even file my claim!! I e placed several calls to them as well as made personal visits to no avail. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS PROVIDER!! This is incompetence at its worse! I am very pleased with my experiences at North Huntsville Family Care, PC and I can be a hard critic at times. The atmosphere is worlds away from any previous experiences I’ve had elsewhere. It is so good and refreshing to be treated with professionalism and care consistently. When I say the doctor and all the staff of North Huntsville Family Care, PC made me feel that I was in good safe hands and even made me smile when I left, then you can believe that they are the best. Front office lacks professionalism. Front receptionist is very rude. Exceptionally long wait time to see the Dr. (2 hours to be exact). Too many good physicians in the Huntsville/Madison area that will value you as a patient to settle for sub-standard care.

Dr. Johnson is an exceptional physician! I've been disappointed by so many doctors in the past, but he genuinely makes me feel like more than just a number. His bedside manner is awesome and he is so capable, competent and compassionate! Dr. Johnson is unlike many doctors who seem to have forgotten that they are dealing with humans and not cattle. He has a genuine heart and spirit that shows through in his every interaction with the patient. I am extremely thankful to have found him.

I've been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for about seven years, and I'm generally satisfied with the medical care he's provided me. His medical knowledge and manner are very good, and he takes adequate time to explain issues and answer questions. The office is new--beautiful and clean. There have been many staff changes in recent years, which is unsettling. The primary negatives are increasing long wait times and inconsistent billing.

Dr. Johnson has been my family's care doctor for 15 years and he literally has provided life-saving care for us all. He will take the time to answer your concerns and questions, wanting to make sure you are aware and in control of your health. Dr Johnson is very intelligent and thinks of all the appropiate treatments. He saved my moms life by discovering her heart problems and saved mine by discovering my anxiety was linked to severe digestive issues. This man sacrifices so much for his patients

The best doctor's experience I've ever had in my life. Yes, it can be a long waiting time, but the nurses do ask that you give at least an hr of your time as they are always in high demand. Not only that, Dr. Michael Johnson is extremely thorough and has great "bed-side" manner. He very efficient and he even drew a diagram to help me understand what was going on in my body. I had gone to at least 7 different specialist, but he is the only doctor who took that time with me to explain to me what was going on. I have been coming to Dr. Johnson for many years and I absolutely appreciate the thorough level of care that he provides in a fast paced world he refuses to rush through your visit with him. The wait is well worth it.

My experience was nerve calming because I have never experienced this type of service before from any physician from New York to Alabama. Dr. Johnson is exceptional!
