Not an effective communicator with patient at all. Was more interested in talking about flying. Never told me about the prescriptions I needed to take before procedure and that the procedure could be painful, which it was. Told me to come back to his office instead of ER and his office staff had no ideas I was coming. I won’t ever go back!

Dr Graves is always running late and his staff will tell you that he does. He is not effective in communicating your care to you, nor your prescriptions.

Dr. Graves has been wonderful. I think the reason there is a long wait sometimes is because so many patients, and he takes the time to explain everything about what is happening. I appreciate his caring nature, and his focus on the patient.

I went through 5 kidney stones operations using Dr. Graves to remove my kidney stones. First three operation were ok but in the last two operations I didn't see any progress in the x-ray or see any stone fragments came in the urine. They are not giving CD copy of x-ray. I got the feeling either the laser they are using is not great or doctor is inefficient or greedy. When ever I ask Dr. Graves to expedite the process he uses to say something like "It is like going to hundreds of mining tunnels", "I could put a hole and remove all stones but gradually your kidney will die and you could die", "it is like rabbit and tortoise race". He couldn't tell me how many more operations are needed. I spoke to my brother(He is a doctor in India) and he told me that we don't do this many operations in India and go for second opinion. I went to another urologist(Dr. Paul Kaplin) and in one sitting he removed all my stones and removed the stint. Finally I felt happy and relived after 2.5 month struggle

Fraud - He will order unnecessary and expensive tests that you don't need or approved. Run from this man he is a complete fraud. They told me I was getting a routine urinalysis to check for a basic infection and he ended up running a full panel that costs thousands of dollars. He is a complete fraud

Great Doctor but Never on Schedule!! Appointment times are 1.5-2 hours late! My time is Valuable & I don't get paid to take time off work to go to my appointments.

Dr Graves, easy to talk to, not necessarily what you want to hear, but what you need to hear, and explains your options. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else!

VA Dallas (Triwest Insurance) sent me to Dr Graves through veterans choice program. Started early January 2020. He wanted to run a bunch of tests - cystoscope, biopsies and 2 MRIs before even putting me on the chemotherapy treatment schedule. Mind you I was already diagnosed with cancer May 2019 but went with the “more testing” since the VA (Triwest) was paying for it.... guess what I have fung cancer... so shocked... kidding already knew this. Ok now it’s early February and Graves said I would start chemotherapy that Friday. Following day I got bumped again and again and again until they took me off the schedule altogether. Still waiting and it’s March 22nd. Graves uses the veterans to run unnecessary tests because I already had cancer and and he never mentioned a waiting list for chemotherapy... I wouldn’t have agreed to go. He told me he’s get me done immediately. He is killing veterans and getting us worse because of his ignorance and incompetence. RUN

Dr. Graves was fine when I saw him the first time. But I had a second appt for urodynamics and the nurse left me in the waiting room for an hour with a full bladder. When she finally took me back to the room, I shared my frustration with having to wait so long, considering the whole reason I was being seen was for an incontinence issue and I had a full bladder. She got angry, told me to reschedule my appt and slammed the door. I've never experienced anything like this. Needless to say, I DID NOT reschedule, rather I cancelled all my upcoming appts and sought treatment with a doctor whose staff knows how to treat patients. Horrible, horrible experience.

Dr Graves is wonderful. However, waiting in a room for 2+ hours before ever even seeing the Dr. simply is not worth it to me. This is ridiculous...

Wondering caring man and staff!

A very careing staff and great dr greys. They help you .will not ever change dr.

Great Doctor and staff. Longo wait was 20 minutes and the shorts was 5. I have had my calls returned the same day, unlike other doctor offices.

Great doctor. Easy to talk to. Listens and actually spends time with his patients. I'll continue going to Dr Graves for as long as he is in practice.

An old dingy office. told me he could do a vasectomy as I requested. He did not tell me Medicare would not pay for it. Then charged me $1000 for it. Most other insurance allowable charge are $250 to $500. Then would not even give a discount. Billing person was very curt in saying they could not give a discount because I was on medicare. Ask him what the rule was and he replied "You can google it!" Forget about using this money hungry Doctor.

I had an appointment for blander Echo 12 pm with full blander. However 45 minutes after the appointment, I was still waiting for the exam. It was really intolerable waiting in the situation.

Absolutely Outstanding

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor.....long waits(1-2 hours after appointment time & rescheduled an appointment after I had already arrived at their office), long appointments, antiquated equipment that has to be rigged to work properly, filthy office, more worried on what he can bill insurance than the patients health, talks about other patients, told me that he had to overbook appointments so he could cover office costs and that he sometimes did not take a paycheck, and the list could go on and on. At the advice of my family doctor, I got a second opinion and given a clean bill of health after one visit despite being told by Dr. Graves that I needed a biopsy of my bladder and my prostate microwaved. First visit i waited 30 min in lobby and another 30 min in patient room. Second visit, i waited 90 minutes and knowing i would wait another 30 min in patient room, i asked for a refund and left. Never will come back to this doctor again.

Dr. Graves went out of his way on more than one occasion to take care of both my dad and father-in-law. He was supposed to be on vacation, but came to the hospital to perform a procedure out of the goodness in his heart. We love him, and highly recommend him.

Be prepared for long long long wait times.

Dr. Graves is a thorough and extremely caring Doctor. He has treated several of my family members and our level of care has been excellent. My elderly father has been been treated for prostrate cancer and kidney stones in an exemplary fashion. We appreciate his keen knowledge of medicine. Dr. Graves is so thorough he has seen serious medical conditions, not in his field of Urology, and directed my Dad to the proper Specialist appropriate for my Dad's condition . I know he has saved my Dad's life. Dr. Graves has always taken his time to explain and to make sure my Dad understands each diagnosis and treatment plan. Dr. Graves is also my sister and my doctor. He has always taken such care of us. He has been our Dr. since 1990. I was 7 months pregnant and had a kidney stone. I'm protective of my family and always refer them to Dr. Graves. My family completely trusts him. He treats our medical issues, mind and spirit. In one word; excellence. Dr. Graves is a thorough and extremely caring Doctor. Terrible experience. I was sent to see a urologist by my family doctor to overrule possible prostate cancer. I saw Dr. Graves. Put aside his horrible ethics and political views that he will not spare you from wasting time listening to... he had me do a series of tests that cost me thousands of dollars, at the end of which he told me that I have no cancer. My family doctor suggested to see a different urologist who actually did a biopsy (Dr. Graves didn't) that proved I actually had cancer.

Dr Graves is very thorough. I've been going to him for about twenty years. He's helped me for many conditions and I highly recommend him.

I had a uric acid stone and this doctor kept talking about what I need to avoid eating for a calcium stone. Average wait time at a the clinic was about 1 to 2 hours.

I had a kidney stone and severe hematuria. Dr. Graves did my lithotripsy and did a wonderful job. I have had this procedure done in the past and I was not happy. This time it was amazing, I had not 1 minute of discomfort, didn't need any pain medication at all. I was up and feeling great just a couple hours after the procedure. I found the office staff excellent and Dr. Graves was informative and helpful. He was so accommodating to my schedule and worked me in to do my surgery so quickly.

This entire practice feels like a scam. You will wait hours to be seen, then the physical comes in and does not communicate much to the patient. Will order a CT Scan routinely and sell you pills to protect you from the radiation. The physician will will not share any results with the patients. The patient has been trying to get the results of the CT scans along with the Ultrasound and other tests. The office manager is a pathological liar and will not contact the patient.
