He explained and showed what needed surgery. He came to the patient and operated for hours. The family of Colleen will be forever grateful.

After 2 failed referrals to other Drs, Dr Andalkar was willing to discuss the removal of the Spinal Cord Stimulator implant. I’ve received timely notifications from Bernadette, quick response to scheduling need and verbal coordination on the surgical requirements. So far I’m very pleased.

Dr. Andalkar is a great surgeon he explains very well before the surgery. Dr andalkar knows what he's doing and the front desk is very kind as well I recommend this surgeon to everyone I highly recommended 5 stars for sure. Dr Andalkar did an awesome job on the surgery. Not right for me; tardy without explanation; abrupt and dismissive.

I was referred to Dr. Andalkar near the 10th of November by my pain and spine doctor, because everything that they had tried had not worked. I called on November 25th to try to set an appointment as they had not contacted me yet. I was told that they had just received my records and would have to review them before I could make my appointment. Since it was the week of thanksgiving I was told they would call the following week. I called them again a week and a half later since I had not yet heard from them. The receptionist seemed very nice. She said that she would call back later that day after someone looked over my records. I did not hear from her so I called the next day. She again said she would call me back that day after someone looked over my records as that is required before I could make an appointment. She called me later that day and made an appointment for me on December 22. On December 16th the office called to see if I could come in on December 17th instead. I was thrilled because I have been in so much pain. I booked my appointment for 1:30pm on December 17th. Three hours later Dr. Andalkar’s office called me back to tell me that the doctor would not see me! They told me that the doctor had just looked over my files and felt that he couldn’t help me. They told me to continue with my pain management and physical therapy. At this point I have no pain management and I had to beg two doctors to refer me for physical therapy. I was astounded! Didn’t they require the doctor to look over my records before making an appointment? Obviously he hadn’t. And all this time had gone by while I am in extreme pain. I would never recommend this doctor. The office staff was very friendly, but I feel like I was misled and got the runaround. Don’t waste your time. Dr Andalkar, a very pleasant conversationalist, worked on my spine in 2019. It is impossible to get explanations and answers to my questions. He has a crack surgery facility and very pleasant, welcoming surgery team. He did good with the cutaway work, but he did not do what we discussed in my surgery. He did just enough to get by with weak "fusing splints." It did not hold. I started to get worse with pain. When I tried to tell him the work came undone, he would take no ownership of it, nor talk to me about a repair. For over a quarter million dollar charge, I thought he should go back on and at least try to fix his work. Heck, I could've had three heart surgeries for that. But no. Dr. Andakar got me back into a good life. He was honest with me about the possible results of my surgery. My pain is very managable now. Some issues cannot be resolved by surgery. He gave me resources to help me make a decision with no pressure one way or the other. He clearly explains MRI, Cat Scan or X-ray. His current office staff are freindly and efficent. Dr. Andalkar realized that without surgery I would have no quality of life. I was very high risk due to a clotting disorder but we bluntly discussed the risk-vs-reward. His skill level was incredible as I had a dual level laminectomy in March of 2019 and he was able to do it without screws or metal being used. He was honest about the post surgery pain level and recovery time frames. I have 9 other bulging discs as well as other other spinal issues but if I ever need another surgery - this man is doing it! I looked at the review from a year ago from Morris Farnsworth and have experienced the same awful thing. The office staff is very unfriendly, unorganized and I they can't seem to get my phone number right (even though it has never changed) as I have only received a call back when the Dr needs to reschedule. They had office notes that they called me three times with no answer. I called them every week to get my pre-op appointment and it took 6 weeks to get in. Then after waiting another week for my surgery date ( I was promised a call back in, at the most, 2 days) I called and they had the same story...we tried to call you. I'm sorry but I do not trust this office knows what it is doing. NO more...I am going somewhere else! Dr. Andalkar was amazing and very professional, he explained in detail the findings of my MRI and in a way that helped us understand. This man is an angel from above, reading other reveiws seems like people dont like straight shooters. I do as im one myself. When i first met Dr Andalkar i could hardly walk after being in a motorcycle accident. We spoke all straight honest answers, no sugar coating and thats the best way to be. He will tell you everything in depth and spends time explaining. Here i am nearly one year down the road after surgery but im walking standing up straight and i could not give this man more gratitude..... however his office staff are on the other end. Terrible and rude.

In 2006 &. 2007 I was blessed to have been a patient of Dr Andelkar in Tucson, Arizona. He did a extensive & through examination of my lumbars & we discussed the outcome of having a surgery. He advised me that it could paralyze me. Finally, he scheduled me for the surgery on Nov 7, 2007. It took him 7+ hours to complete. Today I wear a steel brace in my back. After Dr Andelkar moved to Mesa I was told that I had the best surgeon in the United States. Today I am basically pain free. I have repeatedly & will continue to recommend patients to Dr Andelkar.

No visit office staff rude, unorganized and simply can’t do there jobs. Amanda makes guarantee and can’t follow through. Office manager no where to reach Alexis is so called fill in and and simply wrong for the office as she’s rude and unpatient care. They really need training in patient care and how to provide higher level of service. Do not use them as I can not nor will I recommend them for this issue alone.

Who's the rotten mouth tomatoe that answers the phone in the morning on the 27th of December upsetting clients on a referral. Not so sure I want this kind of attitude while under surgery.Be very aware!!

This office is horrible. My wife was referred to them two weeks ago. She's been in terrific pain for a month now. When we called about the referral they said they didn't have it so we had the PC send another one. Several days passed and we called again and they needed Doctor's notes so we went to our PC and got the notes and hand delivered them to the office a week ago. At that time they claimed they didn't have the referral yet, but my wife call a few days later and they found the referral. I called today almost a week after the Doctor's notes were hand delivered and they claimed they hadn't received them. They put me on hold and then came back to say they found them. They won't set an appointment until someone reviews them. They have not once called us to say they were missing something. They are very good at saying they are sorry, but incompetent at doing their job and obviously they don't care about patients enough to do their jobs correctly. This office is horrible. This was my first visit to the new office and I felt very welcomed and was helped right away. The front desk ladies were very pleasant . Dr . Andalkar was very nice and compassionate. Very informative and caring. I love going to doctors like this as you don't get that very often anymore. He had a great bedside manner and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a good compassionate dr . Dr. Andalkar was a super professional and the surgery he did on my back turned out great. He was very straight forward in his communications and took the time to understand my concerns and outcomes. He also had a sense of humor. A great neurosurgeon.

I started seeing Dr Andalkar at the end of 2017. After some persistence I was able to provide them with all the information they needed to evaluate my case. Once I got a appointment the MRI’s and Catscans were scheduled. Once the results were back I was scheduled for surgery. I had my surgery in February of 2018. My pain is all but gone. I had pain generating down my arms to my fingertips. I was in excruciating pain. He is a brilliant Doctor. By far my favorite doctor.

Not a chance. He was rude and arrogant. He was very condescending and when asked a question, he became visibly frustrated and angry, stating he had already answered the question, which he had not.

100% the real deal. Dr. Andalkar performed my 4th and final neck surgery. My pain had gotten so bad I was on fentanyl patches. Even that didn't take the pain away. He did a surgery most wouldn't touch. It was my fourth fused disk surgery and one is artificial. When I woke up I sat up. I cannot tell you what that ment. I have never been able to do that right after the procedure. Please understand I will always have neck pain but he made it so I could look up again. Lay in bed with my head tilted. In 1995 I crushed a disc and the others came right after. This would be like someone with knee pains who could not walk fast let alone run. They have surgery and can run again. Even though I still have nerve damage I can look up and down and my pain was at a 90 now it's at a 40 most of the time. He is a great surgion. Do your self a favor and go see him he in my opinion is the best. My other surgerys were all in NY with one of the best orthopedic doctors. They are good he is better. 100% the real deal. When my neurologist recommended I see a neurosurgeon, I had to get a referral from my primary care doctor and was referred to him. I called to make an appointment but was told he would not see me without first getting the MRI films. Neurologist faxed over reports. Nothing. I called. He won't even see me, not informed, he just sent over note to primary for me to get pain management and physical therapy. I was worse since MRI too. They didn't care. I think doctors should at least examine patients.

I have chronic neck pain, that occasionally radiates into my arm. It was recommended that I consult a neurosurgeon. Dr. Andalkar performed a thorough exam, looked at imaging, and explained that while I might benefit from surgery, I might be better served with some more conservative treatments. I appreciated the fact that he was thoughtful about my case, and didn't try to pressure me into possibly unnecessary surgery. I see him around every now and then, and he asks me how I'm doing.

Great surgeon. He was very pleasant and helpful. Explained everything very clearly. Clean office no long wait times. And when surgery was being done he was very good about placement of incision due to tattoos. Highly recommend!!

My first surgery with Dr Andalkar was in 2012 for neck surgery and he did a great job. Now I am going to him for neck surgery in a different area. Also after this I will see him for some back problems. I think he is very professional and a great surgeon.

Dr Andalkar put my mind at ease from the time I met him for a consult. I had been putting off the thought of yet a 4th surgery on my spine. This would be the 2nd on my lower back.. My fear sent me back for 2 additional consults. On my 2nd week post op I am feeling somewhat better. I'm glad Dr Andalkar was honest with me, and treated me conservatively. He's an awesome Doctor and I highly recommend him!!! :) :)

I had arachnoid cyst between t1-t2 removal. He was very professional, comforting. And made his incision perfectly to not mess up my tattoos. 6 years I've dealt with numbness and pain and frozen feet. Next day my legs hands and feet are drastically better. Highly recommend

Dr. Andalkar is amazing and so professional. I would recommend him to my family and friends. I had a Cervical surgery in Dec 2015 and it was a success. He's a great Doctor.

Dr. Andalkar is good at what he does and he has me walking better and things that have been numb for 10 years have since regained feeling. I am a high risk patient because of my lungs and a few other things but Dr. Andalkar said he would take me on as a patient despite the obstacles because he did not want to see me in a wheel chair. I am about to have my 2nd surgery with him as the damage in my body is extensive but the 1st one was successful and so I am counting this one will be as well.

Went to Dr Andelkar in 2006 & had a successful seven & one half hr surgery. Dr Andelkar had to place a back brace in my lumbar with the screws having to be placed every which way as my back was so messed up. Was told by Dr Andelkar that he would like to use my back problems in his work & teachings at the Ohio Institute of Medicine up in Ohio. I gave him my permission. I highly recommend Dr Andelkar for anyone with back problems
