Amazing, super star surgery on my triple bypass. His care for me was first rate as he looked in on me and encouraged me on every level. His team was excellent as well and it was good to see young students learning at his side. We felt loved and cared for. He fought for us in some tough issues and always got us through. Highly recommend, We were blessed to be under his and his teams care

I had a bypass done on the 30th of December 2020, by the good doctor and the best part of him, was he did not BS or sugar coat anything, and I appreciated that.

In 2004, Dr. Roughneen saved my life by repairing, ASD. I am and will forever be grateful. After the surgery he was there every morning to check on me. Five years ago I was diagnosed with cancer. I have been thru several test and scans. The others surgeon always tells me how good the patch on my heart is. is holding up

I had my heart fixed by Dr. Roughneen in 2007. He was kind and very professional. I felt confident in him repairing my heart. I had a congenital heart disease called ASD, and the hole was too big to be fixed by an umbrella, so had to have an open heart surgery. Dr. Roughneen explained that when he opened my heart, he found the hole and a ruptured valve, so he fixed both. His bedside manner was nice, and I would recommend him. A few days after wife suffered a heart attack in June 2016, Dr. Roughneen did a quadruple bypass with some complications at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Wife and I cannot say enough positive feedback about Dr. Roughneen's experience, knowledge, follow through, etc.

On May 26, 2015, Dr. Patrick Roughneen performed surgery on me to remove a cancerous tumor from my lung. From the first day, Dr. Roughneen was very upfront and told me everything without using “doctor” jargon. He answered every question asked him and took the time to make sure me and my wife understood everything. After the surgery, he was there every day, even Saturday and Sunday! The 10-inch scar I have is very clean and looks as great as it can for having a had major operation. I would and did trust my life in his hands, and would do it again without hesitation. Rudest Doctor I have ever met. This man was rude, arrogant and unprofessional in every aspect and fiber of his attitude, treatment (lack therein) and practice. My opinion is based on years of seeing doctors............ (mostly orthopedic) from athletic injuries. This man takes the Gold Ribbon for "Jerk". If compassion is something you feel you need in a physician, I can safely opine: (just say NO to this man). Rudest Doctor I have ever met.
