Dr. Pratap Konudulla Reddy

Dr. Reddy is an excellent surgeon, but shows little interest in your questions. At first, I thought he was hard of hearing. However, I believe he becomes totally fixated on his computer screen and is unable to multi-task. My biggest disappointment was that, after the surgery, there was no follow-up from Dr. Reddy or his nursing staff to tell me if the surgery was successful. I was in the hospital for two nights. Dr. Reddy only came to see me after I had asked the hospital staff 6 times about the success of the surgery. He was visually agitated that he had to come and was very short in his response. I felt he was good at his specialty, but emits no empathy for the patient.

Dr Reddy has removed mass amounts of stones from me, along with several lithotripsies. He can be a little stern, but I found him to be an excellent surgeon. He has always been honest and direct.

I have been a patient of Dr. Reddy for over 10 years. He is very competent, highly professional and extremely personable. I always feel fully informed after each of my annual visits. I would definitely recommend him to anyone I needs of urologic consultation and treatment.

I just had my prostate removed by Dr Reddy. He is direct and knowledgeable. He gives you the facts and then acts on them. I listens to your concerns answers your question in an understandable manner. I have ready all of the reviews and frankly think that the negative comments are very off based and totally disagree. I totally trust this man and his great skill.

Experience with Dr. Reddy and Minnesota Urology Associates was frustrating. Scheduling delays, cancellations and miscommunication were common. The clinic actually moved without informing me. I found an empty office space when I arrived for an appointment, which had been rescheduled.

Dr. Reddy was condescending during the consultation. If you want to be treated like you can't make your own life decisions, he's the perfect doctor.

I met with him twice for information regarding a vasectomy. After he did the surgery I started to have post vasectomy pain so I met with him again. He told me there way nothing wrong with me, to man up, he had no time for me. It was only after that did I find out how dangerous the surgery can be.

Dr. Reddy was condescending during the consultation. If you want to be treated like you can't make your own life decisions, he's the perfect doctor.

I have seen Dr Reddy for a little over one year, this includes 3 appointment and one procedure. He is a top-notch urologist and is the type of straightforward professional I appreciate. The one-star reviews below are childish and uncalled for.

Dr. Reddy listened to me, explained his diagnosis and how best to treat my condition, and performed the necessary procedures. Problem solved. I'm happy.

He is extremely knowledgeable in the area of prostate cancer. Also very busy but well worth having someone with extensive surgical experience with robotic surgery work on you. I had my prostate removed some 5 years ago by Dr. Reddy. He works with the same regular team for each surgery. My brother also had prostate robotic surgery four years prior to me with Dr. Reddy. He may be a little dry to talk with but come with your questions ready to ask. Highly recommend.

From a medical standpoint, Dr. Reddy told me what he saw in my scans and explained some options (surgical and non-surgical) in a way I understood them. As some others have eluded, Dr. Reddy is a no-fuss, direct to the point dude so if you're looking for someone who listens carefully to everything you want to say and has great bedside manor, he's not for you.

This physician always looks serious and silent, like a judge but a doctor. What he knows is one medicine. He does not look at other information. I am worrying if he can use this medicine correctly. He has no interest and enthusiasm for me. Wait, wait, no talk. No solution. The first time I thought he might be sad. But this happens again. Why should I need such a physician who always disappoints me?

HE DID AN ENLARGED PROSTRATE OPERATION AT FAIRVIEW SOUTH DALE THREE WEEKS AGO...THERE IS NO BETTER UROLOGY DOCTOR IN THE ENTIRE AREA...He is knowledgeable...proficient and extremely experienced and qualified...I would recommend Dr. Reddy to anyone with a urology need.

Dr. Reddy, and his nurse at Urology Associates have taken very good care of me. Due to personal circumstances I needed appointments made quickly and short notice. I was squeezed in his already full schedule but it didn't feel like I was squeezed in. I was put at ease despite how anxious I was feeling. All of the staff, nurses, etc dealt with at Urology Associates and Greenway Surgery center went above and beyond their duties to help me through my tricky work situation. Thank you!

This physician did not take time to discuss my concerns and was dismissive of my questions and symptoms. My wait time was 45 minutes, with no apology for running late, which happens, but he wouldn't even talk to me and worked to rush me out of there. NEVER GOING BACK to this provider location. I work in healthcare - good physicians listen to patient explanations of symptoms and take time to explain without dismissing me as if I am ignorant.
