Trust me and the other reviews. This is the absolute worst rheumatologist I have ever seen. She does not care about pain or suffering from the patient. In one sentence she will insult decades of pain and suffering you have struggled through. She treats patients like they are hypochondriacs. You will regret going to her and her appointments are open. When I called they had same day for her. Which probably means she is not popular. 100% would not recommend her. I could go on and on but there is no point I'm here in pain and she failed at her job. You are absolutely uncaring and a time waster. SHAME ON YOU.

If I could give a zero review, I would!!! NEGATIVE NUMBERS!!! It's unfortunate that I never got to meet the doctor! I waited my 9 months calmly and patiently looking forward to getting some relief from psoriatic arthritis, however, after waiting 9 MONTHS - the office called me to inform me they had an emergency and would call back in 48 hours to reschedule (a telehealth visit). 6 WEEKS LATER - I call for the 3rd time and get a human who says they can't get me in until March of 2021!!! She has been ignoring all the reports, signs and symptoms I had during her visit even though other doctors have been telling her otherwise. Living in her own bubble. Do your self a favor , if you want to live , don’t goto her.

I wish I could give her zero stars but do not even get me started on her level of professionalism and do not bother wasting your time seeing her because she is dismissive and rude. It took me three months to schedule an appointment with PENN Rheumatology as they are booked until July 2021. She didn't even bother to ask me what brought me in to see her the day of my appointment until gathering "further information". She questioned the ethics of my current providers even though I explained to her that they are both educated individuals who have interacted with UPENN in many different facets. She was looking at research articles as I was describing my symptoms and automatically determining the cause of my symptoms. Additionally, she took the time to look back in my file and asked what brought me to PENN Rheumatology in 2012. After reviewing my "office summary", I noticed that she did NOT document the symptoms that I explained to her. All I can say is stay away unless you want to walk away

Had an appointment about a year ago for RA. I was showing symptoms of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I asked her about it and she told me I need to stay off of google and web MD because there’s no way I would have both of these conditions. Even though she said I am hyper mobile. I was later diagnosed by a rheumatologist elsewhere who actually took the time to listen to me and evaluate me. The only thing she was good at was making me feel like I was a hypochondriac. Thank god I went elsewhere and am now getting the treatment I need.

Dr Thomas is an excellent Dr and a wonderful person.

Great doctor! Very understanding and easy to talk to!! Great staff!! Now if we could just get rid of the insurance BS everything would be perfect!

The most amazing doctor ever. Very fortunate to have her as my Rheumatologist. Very knowledgeable and tells me that there is so much advancement in RA meds. There is always an option so you don't have to suffer.

Best Physican in all of Pa. Very caring to her patients. After yrs of my mother suffering with debilitating pain. She was the only physician that found the ailment my mother had. My family has been in her care for over 12 yrs... We Love her!!

This was my first appointment with Dr. Thomas, although I had seen other rheumatologists for over 16 years. Wish I had had her from the beginning! She was extremely thorough in her new-patient evaluation and brought up points of which I had never been aware before. She was obviously well-versed in the myositis diseases. Did not feel like she listened to me or my symptoms. Was very disappointed in my visit I waited 6 months for. Was distracted on the phone and was too chatty about irrelevant things instead of what I was there for.
