Dr. Robert A Hoffman

Dr. Hoffman is a very comfortable, outgoing, caring person. I've always felt at ease with him from the very first visit. His staff and associate doctors are awesome as well. They make it their mission to make sure you're well taken care of!

I have been coming here for almost 18 years Dr. Hoffman is great at what he does. All my children also went to him. Very good with the young ones. Pricing is fair. Office is friendly and service is quick. Turn around time for your glasses is just over a week. We have also gone to him in time of emergency. My daughter had a scratched cornea. My son had a balloon pop in his eye and my husband once rubbed his eye after cutting back a cactus which left quills in his eye. Dr. Hoffman was able to remove them and give drops for healing. I've been a patient for years and can't say enough about this wonderful practice. You get a warm welcome from the receptionist and the technician who does your tests is very nice and patient. Dr. Hoffman is very professional and thorough. He answers all my questions and gives me all the time I need. I've had glasses made there before and I like the selectin and personalized service. They are the best. Very patient, down to earth

Had a wonderful first experience with Dr Hoffman! I loved the assistant “Katie”, who checked me in at the front desk, reviewed my paperwork, did a few pre-tests & even assisted me with glasses at the end. She was so patient & cheerful along with all the other things she was doing!

Wonderful, kind and compassionate ODs and staff!

What a great guy! Dr. Hoffman goes the extra mile for quality care. I was concerned about my optical nerves, so he took a further look by performing an OCT with no hesitation and was able to explain to me clearly and concisly about my particular case. He’s very personalable, yet professional and clearly experienced. I highly recommend him for an annual checkup. Much deeper analysis than Lense Crafters. Thank you for the checkup! What a great guy! Been seeing Dr Hoffman for years. They have always provided great service and taken great care of all our eye needs. Would highly recommend Dr Hoffman. Staff is awesome. Always goes the extra mile.

We called over 2 months ago to confirm they took our insurance so we can get our son new glasses before he turns 18. They said they did. They took our insurance info and said he was set but gave us an appointment over a month out. Day before the appointment they claim they are having issues with the number and reschedule for middle of June. They just called left a message to say they don’t take our insurance. Now we have no time to get him into another dr. Extremely unprofessional and awful of them to lie to people and waste their time. Dr. Neary is amazing! Everyone at the office is very nice and helpful. Dave the optician there is the best as well, I've never had someone so helpful in making sure my glasses are right. Just an all around great place to go to for eye care.

In revising my review I would like to acknowledge Dr Hoffman and his office manager, Wendy, for really caring for their patients and how they are viewed as a business. I have not had a good experience at this practice and I myself will not be returning for services. Once my complaint was made, Dr Hoffman was quick to find out what happened and how they could better themselves as a team, and for that I give you a lot of credit and wish your business the best. With that being said, based on my experience, I would say you are in good hands if seen by Dr Hoffman and will be treated well if you have the pleasure of working with Wendy. To clarify, my appointment was not with Dr Hoffman, but he is very knowledgeable and will answer any question you may have to the best of his ability. Even though he was not my Dr, we had multiple conversations that I can base my experience on. Wendy has a knack for good customer service and will treat you very well. I have been seeing Dr. Hoffman for many years and am always pleased with the level of care that I receive from both the doctor and his staff. I would recommend Dr. Hoffman to anyone seeking an ophthalmologist.

Dr. Hoffman treats our whole family (3 out of 4 of us need corrective lenses). While I had always been pleased with the service my husband and I have received, the practice really earned their five-star review with the way the cared for my 4-year-old daughter. We noticed an issue and brought it to the attention of a friend who is an eye doctor in another country, she encouraged us to call our eye Dr and get her seen. Dr. Hoffman's staff worked hard to squeeze us in quickly. She was nervous because she didn't know what to expect but Dr. Hoffman made the experience a fun one for her while still providing me with all the information I needed. He had her back a week later to dilate her eyes and confirm her prescription. His staff has worked with us weekly to get her glasses fitting just right and they always treat her like a queen. Dr. Hoffman even checked the prescription of a pair I bought for her in a different location just to make sure it was exactly right. I was told by the receptionist that she did not have time to contact my insurance to verify coverage. My son has been their patient for 4 years and that simply is unacceptable.I have new insurance and they are listed as a provider and yet that wasn't enough information.
