Dr Lucas is the best ortho surgeon ever! I had pain & decreasing function in my shoulder since 1999 until I couldn't sleep laying down & couldn't dress myself. I was in bad shape & constant pain. I'm an RN and he was referred to me by RNs. I got in to see him without delay - had surgery without delay. Wish I hadn't put it off. I have my life back. Thank you Dr. Lucas!

Dr Lucas is an outstanding surgeon. He repaired a badly "broken" rotater cuff I received when I fell in the street landing directly on my shoulder. It took almost 6 weeks before I saw him, (I didn't know the extent of the injury) I exascerbated the wound, making it even more difficult to repair and heal. However, Dr Lucas was gifted in surgery to the point of my being able to waterski again after 10 months (at age 73.) He was with me every step of the way to recovery. Highly recommend him.

I incurred a freak ankle injury, this past June, in which my full size basketball hoop fell directly above my ankle, crushing my tibia and fibula. Dr Lucas performed surgery a couple days later, and saw me through the recovery process, regularly. While that injury still causes consistent discomfort, I am back on my feet doing nearly all of the activities I did before - albeit, perhaps a little bit slower. I can't say enough about Dr Lucas both personally and professionally. He's fantastic!

Dr Lucas expertly repaired my shoulder. He is current with his knowledge, listens and advises and is a true professional. I recommend him highly.

Have a traumatic dislocated shoulder and was in Asia, not in a big city. They did patch me up very well but was so happy to find there's a shoulder specialist close to my daughter I was visiting in 2 weeks. Got in, got an x-ray in one visit and saw doctor. He was great, knows his stuff, I had total confidence in him. Got physical therapy next to his office, again excellent experience. So far (3.5 months) glad I opted, per his advice, on not having surgery as I'm fine now.
