My appointment went very well!! The nurse as well as the doctor was very kind and easy to talk to(big plus)! The wait was amazing. I was literally in and out!! I highly recommend!!

I was really pleased with Dr Speights. Explained every thing really well and trying to find answers to my problem. Would defiantly recommend.

The receptionist was very friendly and presented me with a smile. Dr. Speights nurse was courteous and professional. I’ve been seeing Dr. Speights for 7 years. I have never had an issue with him nor his staff. Checkout lady was also proficient and knowledgeable regarding my insurance. I definitely recommend Southeast Urology.

I was treated with respect. The nurses as well as Dr. Speights listened to what i had to say and my concerns. He explained the plan of action thoroughly.

I have been a Dr Speights patient for a few years. I took his advice and did both Axonics and a bladder sling at the end of 2020. I have had fantastic results and could not be more pleased. He is a fabulous physician. He is very kind and caring and always puts me at ease.

Dr. Speights not only has remarkable skills as a surgeon, but he is kind and thorough, listens to his patients, and perseveres until he knows exactly what needs to be done. I feel that God led me to Dr. Speights. He is head and shoulders above any other doctor I have seen. Dr. Speights is so professional and intelligent. Three other doctors had told me that my bladder was prolapsed. Dr. Speights knew right away that my vagina was inverted and herniated. His surgery has enabled me to sit down and urinate for the first time in over 10 years. I am also able to have a BM in a more normal way. Dr. Speights removed my fallopian tubes and ovaries to reduce the risk of cancer later on. He has literally changed my life and given me hope through his knowledge and skill as a surgeon.

I definitely would recommend Dr. Speights to my family and friends. He is very professional and easy to talk to. After first visit and exam he knew exactly what my problems were, explained each one and discussed each with my husband and me. He gave us three options for treatment. After surgery and post op visit, I am feeling great thanks to Dr. Speights' expertise. I cannot thank Dr. Speights and his team enough for the care I received.

Specializes in fraudulent insurance billing. Bills for procedures not performed when they know they have you over a barrel, thinking you will not dispute it because you need the care. .

From my first visit with Dr. Speights and his staff , thru my surgery to my 6wk post OP visit, I believe they went above and beyond the oath that they made to care for others. They took my issue seriously , testing was done quickly and Surgery was done. I am a very successful case because of Dr. Speights being very good at what he does, and the very caring staff who took care of me. I would recommend Dr. Speights always!

Visit was great except the lengthy ipad questionnaire. Why not just have the lovely attendant ask the questions or have a written form?

Dr. Speights was very informative about what was going on with me, the course of action and he made me very comfortable. My husband and I both appreciated him.

I am a 66 year old who underwent a total hysterectomy and bladder suspension on October 16, 2019. Having not undergone any surgery in 60+ years, I was not sure what to expect. Dr. Speights explained the procedure very well and everything went even better than expected. The only pain I felt was in the recovery immediately after surgery. I was able to go home the same day. Dr. Speights said that I would not need pain pills for any more than 2 to 3 days. He was on the mark, as I only used half of what was prescribed. I had my post op visit yesterday and got an excellent score. A+ for me and A+ for Dr. Steven Speights, his staff and Baptist For Women! Dr. Speights is an excellent surgeon, precise and caring.

I appreciated how quickly I was seen after being referred by Dr. Brantley. I believe firmly the entire staff was extremely qualified, competent, and after many other health issues I have dealt with in the past 3 years; to know your nurse and doctor feel confident another problematic health issue can begin to be solved is a huge weight off a concerned patient. Confidence and competence is huge for those of us who are ready to be healthy, and done seeing doctors. I know other patients treated by Dr. Speights, and they say he is the very best!!! I am looking forward to my surgery, and being treated by Dr. Speights, his nurses, as well as friendly staff.

After many years of dealing with multiple prolapse issues I was referred to SEUG and worked with Dr. Speights in repairs/reconstruction surgery. He was excellent! He was very thorough and explained my problems and what the options for repair were. I opted for surgery for vaginal and bladder repairs. I only took pain meds the night I came home and the next morning. After that Aleve was quite enough - I can't really say that I had a lot of pain - I followed instructions and feel amazing! If you've been dreading pelvic repairs - please don't waste any more time - Call Dr. Speights and Dr. Harris and begin living the life you deserve!

Very nice at front desk,staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Speights was very professional and explained my test in detail.I preceded with my test 2 weeks later. The technician that performed the test explained everything as she was about to do it. The professional service continued through out including the results from my test. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone .

I recently had a surgical procedure performed by Dr. Speights(and Harris). I should not have waited so long to have my "problems" corrected. He and his staff provided excellent care from start to finish. A treatment plan was established and carried out to ensure a successful procedure. Post surgically I had minimal discomfort(I did not need any pain medication) and have experienced a full recovery. Thanks Dr. Speights, Dr. Harris, and staff.

Immediately upon his entering the room, you are relieved. You feel as if your health issues were going to be dealt with properly and professionally. I had a hysterectomy on April 25, 2018, and I have not felt this good in years! No more uncomfortable drooping organs, what a relief.

He actually sits there and listens to you. You don't feel rushed in the appt. explains everything he's doing and what needs to be done. His whole staff of friendly.

Amazing doctor. I was referred to him for pelvic prolapse and just loved him. I dont know that any female like to be examined, but he and Mary Margaret put me right at ease. He didnt talk down to me and explained my issues, what could be done in laymans terms. He answered any questions I had. Excellent bedside manner, he even had me laughing. I would recommend him to anyone. His nurse, Mary Margaret is the best. Very easy to relate and talk to. She loves her job, I love her!!!

Was referred to Dr. Speights by my GYN for a prolapse problem. They saw me the next day! Everyone in the office was so professional and caring. Dr. Speights is great. He explains everything and answers ALL questions without rushing you. Before and after surgery, he was comforting and caring. Felt like I could call his office at any time and get the help I needed. I had trouble with incontinence. It caused a number of embrassing situations. The worse being once I was at a relative's home and sneezed, leaving a wet spot on their couch. I was horrified. I avoided groups exercise classes and other activities that might cause embrassment. My internal medicine dr. referred me to Dr. Spreights. I had surgery 6 weeks ago and the results are amazing. I look forward to participating in all the things I once avoided.

Dr. Speights recently cared for my 83 year old mother. I highly recommend him. He is very personable, confident, and a caring physician. His entire staff is pleasant and helpful. I was most impressed with how fast he was able to see her and schedule the procedure. She had a prolapsed uterus and bladder. The procedure was a hysterectomy and bladder sling. Dr. Speights is kind, thorough and a wonderful doctor! He takes time to discuss all of my options with my husband and me.

Dr. Speights repaired several issues that I had been troubled with for some time. I can now return to my normal daily activities without any problems. So thankful for Dr. Speights.

I had a total hysterectomy, bladder suspension and pelvic repair this year with Dr Speights and Dr. Harris and was overwhelmed with the kindness and attention that I received from both of them. The surgery went very well, short time under anesthesia and in recovery. Most of all there was little to no pain after surgery. I was up walking and caring for myself immediately and never needed a pain pill. This was categorized as 'major surgery' and I am still amazed that it was so easy! Class Act

Wish I had know about him long ago. Wonderful Dr. & staff. Got a bladder sling procedure scheduled. I have full confidence in him.
