Dr. Wayne Woo

Very unprofessional environment, Dr Woo can be heard talking about other patients to his staff. Does not wear shoes when he presents his self to his patients. He speaks to patients as if they are beneath him. He does not explain what is going with your health, he prefers to pass out medicine and forgets he gave it to you. If I could give him a zero I would.

If I could give this office a no star review, I would. This office does not know how to communicate with each other and the patient regarding patient care. I called the office on Friday of last week, Monday, Tuesday and today asking for the nurse to call me back and I just spoke with the nurse today. On Tuesday of this week when I called and asked for the nurse to call me back, the front desk person Ashley even said she was not sure why I have not received a call back. This morning when I called the office, I asked to speak with the office manager, and she did not come to the phone, nor has she call me back. When the nurse finally called me back, she was very defensive and spoke punitive toward me. She never took accountability for not calling me back and any miscommunication regarding the staff. Her response to me several times was "We have a lot of patients and cannot call every patient back." The nurse also stated, "I was out of the office during the times you called the office for a nurse callback." If that was a true statement, why didn't the front office communicate with me the nurse was out of the office. This office has dropped the customer service ball several times throughout this experience. Every company/business always has room and opportunity to grow their organization in a positive direction. It depends on if you want to grow and evolve. The question is, do you? If I could give this office a no star review, I would. WISH I COULD RECORD NO STARS. WORST VISIT AND FOLLOW UP EVER IN MY HISTORY OF DOCTOR VISITS. DR WOO DID NOT READ MY FILE BEFORE THE IN OFFICE VISIT AND READ ME MY RESULTS FROM 3 YEARS AGO - THEN THEY TOOK LABS AND HAD TO WAIT 6 DAYS FOR AN EMAIL TO A PORTAL TO GET MY RESULTS AND THE PORTAL DID NOT WORK. NURSE AND OFFICE STAFF DID NOT RESPOND TO HELP WITH MY RESULTS VIA EMAIL OR PHONE AND WANTED ME TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER VISIT. I WILL NOT GO BACK. DO NOT RECOMMEND. WISH I COULD RECORD NO STARS. Dr Woo is a physician who genuinely cares about his patients. I have never met another doctor who invested so much in their practice and patients. From classes to cooking demonstrations, Dr Woo and Mrs Pat are one of a kind.

The doctor is great the nurses is sweet as sugar out standing.

I would never again recommend Dr. Woo or his clinic. Recently, I went for my appointment and the receptionist was not only rude, and attempted to pick an argument with me, but she was quite racist. After her unprofessional behavior towards me, she then called me stupid and turned to talk about me with her co-workers. Once I was called back, the technician acted the same as her friend - I watched their conversation which involved a lot of pointing towards me. She was rude, unprofessional, and extremely disrespectfully racist. I wish I could say this was new, but the rudeness and unprofessionalism was not. The outright racism was however. The icing on the cake however was when the Office Manager, Pat - who is married to Dr. Woo, came out of the back and accused me of videoing my appointment. I'm unsure if everyone took their crazy pill, but the OM then begins to yell about their policy of not videoing their staff. I've been going to this clinic for over 5 years and not once has anyone said anything to this level of harassment. Additionally, I ALWAYS input my A1C, weight, measures, and whatnot into an app on my phone to track how I'm doing. I ALWAYS have my phone out - whether I'm waiting the 45 mins - 1 hour (normal waiting times) and playing games or adding notes to my diabetes app. It has NEVER been a problem before - in fact, no one has EVER said anything about my phone being out or used. In summary, the staff are vile, unmannerly, bigoted, inefficient buffoons. The Office Manager, Pat, was completely out of line, hateful, unprofessional tyrant. The staff was completely different than my visit months previously, so I can only suppose that racist was new to the list of requirements to work in this wholly amateurish office. As a side note, the NPs and GPs that visit you in your room are amazing - well-educated, caring, competent professionals. It's like night and day from front to back of clinic. In my last year of visits, I've only seen Dr. Woo himself once. So if you do go, get use to the revolving door of miserable, non-educated front door staff. I have been using Dr. Woo for almost a decade and I agree with the previous reviews mostly. Dr. Woo himself is ok and very knowledgeable however over the years the staff he uses has gotten exceedingly worse mainly the receptionist staff in particular who clearly hate what they are doing and are unfriendly and to almost all customers. Also, they tend to act unprofessional and laugh and chat to each other while patients are waiting to sign in or out. I now have a problem where they have begun calling in late prescriptions to the point where it takes almost 3 weeks to get it filled once its been sent to them which is major issue. At this point I believe I will look at finding another doctor with staff that cares more and presents themselves in a professional manner as I only see this office going further down the drain in the future. I have a wonderful experience every time I come to my appointments. I know that all of the staff cares and is very knowledgeable by how they treat me! Dr. Woo is absolutely AMAZING!

I was referred to this doctor's office. I hit a brick wall with his staff: the billing rep and the receptionist. Never made eye contact and worked as though they absolutely HATED their jobs. I was treated better by the doctor and the entourage of nurses who referred me. I absolutely loved the one nurse I saw but one of his nurses un-pollitely told me " Let me do my job!" Very discourteous, unfriendly and borderline rude. Seeing a specialist had me thinking I would be treated special. I went back to the doctor's office who referred me. If I'm paying you, I expect the best treatement! They were out of my Network and charged me an arm and a leg. I paid more the 6 months I saw this doctor than I did the entire 10 years that I saw a specialist in CA. I was referred to this doctor's office.
