Dr Adcock is very caring and has a good bedside manner.

Very professional and ethical physician that took his time to listen to me and to my wife when he was our family doctor for many years. I definitely recommend him to anyone that is in need of a doctor. If he can't help he will refer you to someone that will. I have only the best to comment about him and his staff. All are very caring and so helpful.

Great doctor. Takes the time needed.

On July 24th, 2018 at 10 am my husband visited- Dr Adcock and received a questionnaire for anxiety and being overworked. He left with a prescription for 0.5 Xanax -90 pills a month for 3 months... On July 29th, 2018 at 1:20 am he died of an "Accidental Overdose- Mixed Prescriptions and Alcohol." He also had an undiagnosed enlarged heart per his toxicology report. My only purpose of this review is hopes that the standard questionnaire this doctor uses is backed up with blood work. My husband presented with a puffy face, weight gain of 40 lbs in a year, a undiagnosed weeping rash on his calf muscle that had not healed in over a year. To Dr Adcock- The person in front of you is someone's husband, father, child. Do better. I regret to this very day that I did not make him wait for Thursday July 26th, so my doctor who is also in the same office that actually did testing and bloodwork on me, before prescribing medication. Especially in a new patient you have never seen before. My husband is at fault for his death. You are at fault for negligence. Lucky for you he had other things contribute to his death. You may not be so "lucky" with the next one. Do better. Please. let my loss and my children loss be your guide.

I'm using a different name for anonymity (obviously), but he's been my doctor for years, and I can't understand why there aren't more 5-star reviews. He's always taken time out to answer all of my questions, he's been helpful, informative, and patient. I actually drive all the way from Allen, TX just to see him because he's that great, and few doctors provide the level and quality of care that he does.
