As a patient of Dr. Maul's since 2001, I can honestly say that he is top shelf in taking care of my family and myself. I don't see him often because I've been blessed with good health, but he takes time to get to the heart of the matter and get you back to feeling the best you can. He's an amazing physician and I truly appreciate him and his staff!!!

Dr maul doesn't care about his patients. He held back my test results by a whole MONTH so I couldn't have my surgery. He didn't follow up till I called and went in multiple times. And when he finally called the cardiologist to have it cleared (only while i was in the office) he didn't send it to the surgeons office. He doesn't care about your problems and the more I went in the more it became apperant. If you want a doctor that doesn't follow up on your issues and doesn't try to make you feel better, feel free to visit him. Dr maul doesn't care about his patients. Doctor Maul is amazing!!!! He listens and is attentive! He listens to my heart as a mother on my child and has such extensive knowledge on all things concerning medical practices and what could be wrong! He should probably be retiring but instead he makes calls to me after hours multiple times to make sure my child and I am ok and we know what is to come! He is so well versed in all issues bc he has seen so much in his time practicing medicine that he really seems to be the expert even in more specialized issues like auto immune ect. He found my daughters medical issue before the specialist in her field could and stuck with the symptoms and blood work to figure it out and those have to work together not just seeing numbers and throwing out assumptions. He is kind and positive and I could not say anything negative about this man and his practice they are all top notch! Waited 5 days to get test results read by the Dr. In the meantime my sugar levels have been extremely high most likely due to the infection.

Dr.Maul is good but follow up is very poor. The PA Carl Dear is outstanding

Generally, when I see a provider they ask what the reason for my visit is. The MA asked but it seemed to get completely overlooked. The provider was very friendly but too much personal talk. A refill for medicine was sent but never asked if I needed it which I did not. After an hour of waiting and wrapping up the visit, I had to advise why I was being seen, only to get a referral to another provider which I do not need because I have a PPO. My request was for PT to help relieve plantar fascitis pain. Something I have done in the past and has worked. I was a bit frustrated after the visit. I have been seeing Dr. Maul for 6 years now, he is a good doctor and he refers me to great doctors who have performed surgeries on me and I have no complaints.

I go here whenever I get sick or have medical questions. Dr Maul's staff have been nothing but professional and courteous every time I visit. I've seen Dr. Maul and Carl, both were very good at offering medical advice and the appropriate medications to remedy any sickness. Out of pocket cash pay will cost you $125 as of 6/01/2020 ( I may be off 5 dollars). The front counter workers have been kind to me every time I visit, or set up an appointment via phone. I don't agree with the negative reviews they've been getting on here, I've had ZERO problems with them all these years. They have changed systems, you need to state EXACTLY what you are coming in for so they can allot you the appropriate time slot. If you don't state EVERYTHING when setting up an appointment, they won't be able to fix everything you ask of them. When you sign in at the front desk they'll hand you a tablet that can also take credit/ debit card payments (this is new!). Blood tests done here aren't able to be fully inspected here, they send out samples to a third party still I believe. I've received bills in the mail for this even though I prepaid for everything in the office(I think they wanted 40 or 60 $? They give discounts if you pay online). I cannot remember having a better PCP than Dr. Maul is. He has been my doctor for more than 20 years, and my loyalty to his practice is as strong as his loyalty to the health of me and my family. I’ve been going to Dr. Maul since I was 18 years old , so disappointed in how they handle things on blood work . Dr.Maul is great but how things are ran in the office on responsiveness one star at best. I will be switching Doctors and I have a whole family that will be taken my business somewhere else. I walked out of my last appointment because the female PA was so rude almost combative...my next time in i waited almost 2 hours once i was taken to exam room ...i was billed for a no show when i was told by Mauls office they couldn’t do certain services while i had the flu and rescheduled from their office...this place is horrible, simply there to take your money! 0 stars would be more accurate! If I could give this so called Doctor's office 0 stars I would. First Off it took about 45 minutes to get into a room, once I finally got called into a room I had to wait another 30 minutes for the nurse practitioner (Sandra) to come in and tell me she didn't know what I had maybe it was this or maybe it was that (which really scared me because 1 thing sounded serious) but I could try an antibiotic and see if it would help or wait until my culture came back on Monday and I went on a Friday (BTW, she seemed like she was in a hurry to leave the room). So I started the antibiotic, when Monday came along I call the office and they told me that the sample was contaminated because they "forgot" to send the sample in so I came back in that afternoon since I still wasn't feeling well and I wanted to know what was wrong with me. The next day (Tuesday) I started getting worse and called the office (not even joking) 10-15 times left a few messages and I finally gave up because I was in so much pain I called another doctor's office who took me in that same day, switched my antibiotics and I was fine the next day. I kept calling them to get my money back for the culture that I never got results from and finally got a hold of them about two weeks later. They refunded part of what I paid (out of pocket BTW). I still got a big bill from the lab for a culture I never got results from since I had to get another one elsewhere!! My point is, if you are looking for a new Doctor, keep looking!! This used to be a place where cash pay patients could have somewhat affordable care but no more. They've signed a contract with Privia medical group so what was once a $69 office visit is now $100! On top of that, they charged me an additional $75 to remove 4 staples with a tool I could have purchased for $10. I once was a huge fan of this office and its staff but they aren't a fan of me, a cash payee anymore so I'm probably going to have to look elsewhere for a PCP. From the initial phone call to checking out this was hands down the best experience I've had at a very busy practice. The front desk receptionist, Tracy the assistant, and Mrs. Johnson exuded professionalism and were top notch!! I will definitely recommend them to anyone needing a general practice physician!!

Worse Dr's office experience ever. The staff there are very very rude and unprofessional. After being treated horribly by staff Dr Lam has the nerve to walk in and keep complaining she only has 10 minutes to see me and I have to book another appointment to get an explanation of the lab results from last visit cause she doesn't have time. Dr Lam spent 6 minutes with me 4 of those just griping she doesn't have time to see patients properly and only has 10 minutes. Then has the nerve to trash talk about you where you and other patients can overhear to the staff while getting blood work. Last straw was office manager. VERY VERY rude. On Friday I woke and could not talk and chest rattles. Had my daughter call 9:20am to get me in They would not take me I could make an appointment for Monday, but I was SICK NOW. We went to Min clinic in CVS they said I need to go to prime care Doctor or urgent care I needed a chest xray. Went to a urgent care across from South Garland High. They could not do xrays. So again we called Dr Maul still could not get me in. Even after telling them what the other Dr said not even as a WAIK-IN Still wanted me to wait till Monday Knowing I could have pheumonia thats why the xray. I was felling very bad and could not talk short of breath. So we went to Care Now off 30 and got in about 30min. Very disappointed in his Office help.Have been with him for near 20 years. This office gets 1 star because you cannot give it 0. I was in a very desperate way yesterday when I was REFERRED to DR. MAUL. I made sure the request was known for just him since I had just left the ER the day before. I explained EXACTLY why I was coming in and they did not bother to tell me that they could not treat RA. I even explained my bad luck with other doctor's and was looking for a second opinion, I was in a horrible amount of pain in mid flare up. I have been left to diagnose myself. I signed in as a new patient at arrival and paid the new patient cost of $129 just for the office visit up front. After I was checked into my room I was told Dr. Maul would not be my doctor, ok I am a little disappointed, but open to any good doctor. Dr. Calderone enters, knowing I am a first time patient and his first words are "What can I do for you". Really? How about an introduction, that would be nice, I had to look him up to even know who he was AFTER I left. Do not expect to be seen on time and do not expect that the prescription refills that are faxed over by the pharmacy to be taken care of on time. It takes a month to get a blood test result after having to hound them for it. If you want real patient care. Go elsewhere...

The staff in his office is very unprofessional. They want to charge you for everything. They are rude and do not communicate with the doctors or the doctors are lying about it. You do not ever see Dr. Maul anymore. Dr. Calderone acts like he is put out when comes in to see you. Just like he dont care.They charge you money to fill out paperwork that is needed for your job. and then charge you again just to see the doctor. The doctor cannot fill it out without you being there. I dont know why. They do not communicate with the referring doctors so they know what your status is.
