Today i went in because for the part week and a half I haven't been able to turn my head to the left and the constant pain from this has been unbearable... few .yereas i was on a accident that I developed nerve pain the only drug that helped was was nucenyta he refused to even listen to me and wouldn't even give me a cortisone shot! Worst doctor I've ever been to.. made me feel like a addict or something

I have been a patient of this physician for 20+ years. I am also from the medical profession and this doctor is highly professional. He cares about his patients and his staff are well trained. I would highly recommend him.

The one receptionist was disgustingly rude. I went to the office to get a medical signed off on from a car accident. Got into an argument with the receptionist. Later I received a letter stating i could no longer able to be treated at the office and that they strongly advice treatment for de-toxification. Excuse me ?? that is no where near what i came to the office for nor was i ever using any substances!! Very uncalled for and unprofessional. There was absolutely no need for that to be said it was mean and nowhere near true.

For the most part he is great but there are times when I am in his hospital and he doesn't feel the need to help when the pain is horrible he just sends me home which makes me think there is more wrong with me but he didn't take the time to hear me out he had the a PA tell me instead of looking deeper. But I do like him I just wish he would do more to advocate for ppl like me!! Sincerely Kayla Niespodzinski

Doctors and staff are awesome!! I am very comfortable going to my appointments and you don't wait a long time to see them!!!

Been with Dr Melgar for about 4 years.My last Dr had me come every 6 months sometimes every 3-4 and for what??? I think to bill my insurance! Bc I'm a relatively healthy woman in my 30's. So there is no need to have me come multiple times a year for "check ups)! So Dr Melgar pertaining to my old Dr is spot on when it comes treatment. If I'm sick and call they get me in! Do wish I seen the Dr over his PA's as Everytime I've been there it was someone new. This last one dismissed me when I brought up concerns that my Mom just died 6 months ago of endoneurocin (spelled wrong starts in pancreas and spreads to liver, spine, lungs and brain) cancer. before she pasted I went to all her appts with her and her cancer Dr told me to get checked out as it runs in my family! she dismissed me totally. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that. I go in July for a physical so I may ask to speak with Dr Melgar relating that. His office is clean, office girl was polite and waited at most 20 min.

An amazing doctor. Comprehensive treatment plans. Patient and courteous staff. A doctor that LISTENS!

The doctor is rude, condescending and unprofessional. He barged in without knocking, didn't introduce himself, leaned against the counter arms folded and told me that the bloodwork for allergies is infallable. Not true. I have a long history of known allergies despite neg bloodwork. I need skin testing. He rolled his eyes and told me a bunch of ridiculous things including, my symptoms could be from eating hot soup, not allergies. I walked out. If you are a knowledgeable pt, go somewhere else.

The last five years I’ve felt like I’ve had to be my own physican with Dr. Melgar and his staff...there have been countless times where I have been misdiagnosed...countless times where the referrals of specialists have been big quacks...I constantly see mistakes on my chart and when I correct them they never update the chart, which is very concerning if there was ever an issue.

Dr melgar is very prompt and thorough most of the complaints on here are about his pa not him and wait time. Most good doctors have a long wait time. You expect it however I’ve never had longer then a 30 minute wait to be seen past my scheduled appointment would highly recommend him.

Dr. Melgar's staff is extremely helpful and go above and beyond my expectations. I trust Dr. Melgar's experience and knowledge more than any doctor that I have seen in the past!

I brought my Nine year old daughter, the staff was rude, and we waited for over an hour to be seen. When we came back for a follow up we waited for 45 minutes and then were told the doctor had a conflict. We were asked to leave, even though all we needed were results of an allergy test. I asked to be given the results, Waited another 15 and finally spent less than 5 minutes with a nurse practitioner. The staff is poorly trained. Expensive and rude. Never even met the doctor!

There has been a lot of change over and none seem to stay. Many of the new PA's are very disrespectful and quick to dismiss you. I had went to his office due to multiple symptoms I was having; constantly tired, trouble sleeping, sudden weight gain. I was told I was stressed/depressed and was offered a prescription for an anti-depressant. I would not leave without a blood test for a thyroid disorder. Guess what? Hypothyroidism. Currently looking for a new primary. Very disappointed in the office

First time patient. Very knowledgeable and patient. We need more primary docs with his attitude.

I do not like the staff that he gets in and out of his office. Too much change over. And, the new young interns are given too much leeway on diagnosis when they just meet a new patient. I can not understand why the doctor does not see through the constant new help that has very little class regarding their elders. These newbies have not a clue about real life yet and should learn that a smart doctor or councilor will learn from their patient's. I have lost a lot of respect for this office.

I have been a patient with him for almost 14 years. He also his my dad's doctor. Has the best bedside manner. Takes all his patients seriously. I would not change that for the world.

I've been going to Dr. Melgar for many years and have never had a bad experience. No matter what my appointment is for, if I'm feeling sick or just for a physical, I always leave laughing. He's always concerned about me and my family and is a very caring Doctor. Thank you Dr. Melgar and Staff! you are all the BEST!! Dena
