I am the mother of four kids who have been with Dr. Agarwal since birth and I am a lawyer who deals with medical records and claims. Dr. Agarwal is an EXCELLENT doctor. We started with her through the Clinic at Sister's and then moved to Hamburg as the clinic had a rule that you could only bring in two kids at a time. My husband and I went to all the appointments. Then we moved to Main Street to the Seton Bldg as we work downtown and live in Amherst. Dr. Agarwal is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and thorough. The kids feel very comfortable with her and I have referred my sister there for her kids and she loves Dr. Agarwal who diagnosed things missed by other doctors. She is very smart. The one star spite review by the doctor with the delayed medical records sounds extremely unfair and fortunately for them, they never needed more than shots and frankly there are a lot of black families at the Main St office and none at the Hamburg office, so it seems a little racial to me in that review. As a doctor, providing medical treatment including, diagnosis, exam, follow up, she really is A-1. As a caring physician who listens and gets the kids and parents to talk in a supportive and non-judgmental way, she is A1. I could go anywhere, and I choose her because she is so good. Stay away from this place. I am a physician working with UB. Dr Agarwal was my 5yr old daughter's pediatrician. Things started to get nasty when her office wouldn't let the release of medical information to another pediatrician's office. We planned on the move as my wife was pregnant and wanted care to be closer to our home. For three weeks, her office made my wife a courier to take partial documents to the new physicians office. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT SHE WAS 39 WEEKS PREGNANT, AT THAT TIME HER EMPLOYER HAD RELIEVED HER FROM WORK IN ANTICIPATION OF LABOR. SHE EVEN SIGNED RELEASE OF INFORMATION DOCUMENTS BUT, DR AGARWAL'S OFFICE JUST WOULDNT FAX THE RECORDS. I had to step into the picture, seeing my wife cry over the phone with the receptionist at their office. I tried calling the doctor, acknowledging that I was a physician. The doctor would not reply to my call. Put me on hold for atleast 15 minutes. Things that i heard from my wife seemed unethical, unprofessional, and if it was in my practice, that receptionist would not see the next shift. " are they really working to alleviate suffering of human beings or to make it much worse" THANKS TO GOD, that my kid just had to go there for some shots. Things that i saw, when i walked into her office... It is not more than a getto. ONE Receptionist who i think is working as a nurse practitioner. The doctor has no time to talk to anyone. and the place had this smell which is hard to describe. seeing me, without even introducing myself, she handed me all the paperwork. I strongly doubt, if that office even has a fax machine, and all this hoopla is just for not able to have a fax machine. HIPA it seems was her explanation to not give documents to my wife in the first place. WHATEVER.... I WILL NOT STEP FOOT AROUND A MILE TO YOUR OFFICE. ..BYE Stay away from this place.
