So glad my primary doctor Patel referred me to doctor Hurwitz. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He really took his time to listen to all of my concerns. Gave me lots of feedback and will continue to do further testing to help me figure out what is wrong with my IBS . I was very blessed to find this awesome doctor.

Dr. Hurwitz the best G.I in Wellington. I had a G.I problem he nailed it.

I was a little nervous when I got there for my appointment. After talking to Dr. Hurwitz and answering a few questions he put my mind at ease. Very easy to talk to him and he listens. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a gastroenterologist.

During routine colonoscopy he tattooed a suspicious area. Sadly a tumor grew and 3 surgeries ensued.

My husband was a patient of Dr. Hurwitz for 15 years. He decided to go to another physician for his upcoming colonoscopy and the new physician detected a blue color tattoo in his colon, next to a large mass. The doctor stated that GI physicians use a tattoo to mark suspicious areas for the future. As Dr. Hurwitz neglected to tell us about a suspicious area my husband waited until his 5 year scheduled colonoscopy until the mass was discovered. Two surgeries later, hospital admission with acute Peritonitis, on Christmas Eve, and a large hernia were some of the ongoing medical problems endured. About 6 months later we receive a recorded message, from Hurwitz’s office reminding him it’s time for a colonoscopy! Just ignored all of the events that occurred because of his failure to followup on an intestinal mass‼️

After experiencing a medical emergency 1200 miles away from home, Dr. Hurwitz graciously fit me into his already busy schedule, discussed my options, and ordered the necessary tests I required. He was pleasant and compassionate. His staff was also very friendly and efficient. I was so grateful. I would highly recommend his practice.

Dr Lyle Hurwitz treated me successfully for Hepatitis C a few years ago and he was successful in eradicating my disease with the drug Harvonin. I can say he changed my life in a very positive way and I no longer test positive for that virus when a viral load test is performed. I have resume an energetic lifestyle and my liver functions are perfect. He has made a big difference in my life and my life expectancy is prolonged. I would recommend Dr Hurwitz for anyone suffering from Hepatitis C. Dr Hurwitz you are the best and I rate you a 5 star doctor in your specialty.

Dr. Hurwitz is a very competent physician but he spends no time with his patients and is borderline rude. I do not doubt his ability but his "bedside manner" is pathetic. I NEVER complain about physicians, a profession for which I have the utmost respect. This practice is loaded with highly competent physicians who spend time with patients and have superior "patient skills". Dr Hurwitz does not. Check his reviews on various ratings sites - mine is not an isolated opinion.

Dr. Hurwirtz did an endoscopy the same time as my colonoscopy because I was having some mild discomfort on and off. It turned out I had a bad bacterial infection and a hernia. He was very proactive in helping me and I feel so much better now that my illness was caught and treated properly.

I love dr. Hurwitz and his staff. He is very nice, informative and very detailed. He truly cares and enjoy what he does. His staff are on point including the ones in S. Congress when he send you to get an endoscopy. I appreciate all their hard work and attention as they get me through my issues. Also, I love the RN and nurses there as well. Dr Hurwitz and his staff are the best of the best! My husband has been a patient of his for years and we are very happy with Dr Hurwitz. We had another doctor before him who was awful. Dr Huwitz is thorough and pleasant. He even called us himself to check on my husband after a procedure. He answers all questions and doesn’t rush out.

Lazy Dr Hurwitz, had test in the hospital and I called the Dr 3 times and still hasn't gotten back to me

Was a longtime patient and came to him several times for abdominal pain, which he did nothing for. Ended up with another physician and discovered I had cancer and subsequent surgeries. He did not return my calls when I needed my medical histories.

Dr. Hurwitz immediately went to doing invasive diagnostic tests when all that was needed was a simple ultrasound to diagnose the gallbladder issue my daughter was experiencing.
