Dr. Marvin Kohn did a thorough exam of my wrist to make a diagnosis... that a previous doctor did not. And with that, he provided a treatment plan designed to avoid surgery if possible. A sound and sensible approach to medicine.

I was receiving OT at this facility for an injury to my left hand. I then developed an issue with my right hand and my therapist John recommended Dr Kohn. I was promptly seen and an X-ray was immediately taken. Dr Kohn was very professional and his exam was very thorough. He took time to explain my situation and went over my xrays and what his treatment would be. This practice is very organized. My follow up care was explained & I was told a telephone call would be done. I’ve broken my hands and fingers multiple time due to work. 2015 auto accident broke my elbow, now it’s becoming problematic. Very fortunate to be a long term patient of Dr Kohn, and his care for this injury’s bone spur! If your a patient, please follow his instructions implicitly, his prognosis is going to save you from continuing problems!

My visit was awesome, from the time I checked with his staff, especially with his personal assistant, and also the technician who did my exrays .Dr Kohn is such a great doctor, it wasn't rushed, he took the time with me to find out about me. Including all surgery's, family background, etc. I loved the fact, he is not the type of doctor that suggests surgery, he believes in other alternatives. It was a very friendly atmosphere. I would differently refer to my friends. Also I would like to thank, Dr Joseph Ojea and Dr Juan Agudelo for referring Dr. Kohn.

Dr. Kohn has magic hands. Both thumbs and a trigger finger needed to be injected. As he did 7 months ago, there was no pain or discomfort.

Discussed at length my condition and provided me with a plan to follow until such time that surgery was my only option. I’ve already referred to a friend.

In spite of this difficult time of the corona, Dr. Kohn is kind, skilled and caring. I would recommend his skill and professional care to anyone in need of his specialization.

I am very pleased with his diagnosis and treatment. I feel they are accurate and effective. I can't say enough about his staff. And this is unheard of to me: He phones in the evening, two weeks after me appointment to monitor my condition. Imagine... a doctor who calls his patients! Highly recommended.

Being totally isolated in this pandemic I was uneasy about venturing out. But once I was in the office, having been checked in and my temperature taken, I was very comfortable in a virtually empty waiting room until I was called almost immediately. Everyone was masked and I was in the appt. room with no waiting for Dr. Marvin Kohn. In the appt room my hands were examined with thoughtful dispatch and Dr. Kohn’s total focus on me. It was Fully safe and fully professional environment! I would recommend Dr. Kohn and his staff to anyone!

Taken on time. Checked for COVID 19 symptoms before entering. Dr Cohn is an extremely competent and caring physician. The only hand surgeon ever to give a steroid shot into my finger that doesn’t hurt. He’s the best of the best.

I wasn't at all happy with Dr. Kohn. He is working for the insurance company that my workers comp is through. It began when Dr. Kohn came into the room ( the nurses and other staff members were wonderful) basically touched my wrist and poked my fingers a couple times, now I was in pain and I told him to be careful and explained that it hurt, his response "I know what I am doing" well apparently not. It has since gotten worse in swelling and very painful. He returned me back to work without any further tests done to see about removing the cyst that is now widening across my wrist. He also put me in OT which I am hoping for better results. The OT TECH Liz is great! I called his office left message with out any reply whatsoever. The pain is so unbearable when I asked for something he simply said to take Tylenol. I had to go to ER this morning the ER physician immediately looked at it gave me a new brace to prevent anymore movement of it. She also seen I was in need of medication and wrote me a prescription for pain medicine. Also gave me a referral for another orthopedic. Please understand every physician and PA I HAVE SEEN SAYS THIS NEEDS SURGERY! But Dr Kohn didn't look any further than his wallet! I have been in so much pain with this and he didn't help. I thought he took an oath for the patient. Dr. Kohn also instructed me not to hit my wrist with anything cause the cyst is over the artery. The kind of work I do is very physical so that is almost impossible to accomplish. I don't mind going back to work I am one of those people who love their job and enjoyed it very much. Dr. Kohn was what I would call rude, and extremely dismissive of the pain and the lack of movement in my right hand. I have to see this man because the insurance is calling all the shots. I have another appointment on January 16 with this Dr. Kohn I will be there if no results I am definitely calling the AMA hopefully he will realize that he took an oath for the patient and not for insurance. This was my very first visit. I'm suffering from arthritis in my hands. I am very impressed with how Dr. Kohn explained in detail what was happening with my age related problem . A shot was needed and I was anxious that it would be painful, however I barely felt anything.

You’re in good hands when you let Dr. Kohn works on your hands. He operated on my hand for a trigger finger, and the scar is not even visible. He is the best when it comes to hand surgery and scar management.

I am an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist in south Broward county. I drive 45 minutes north to see Dr Marvin Kohn and he is worth the drive. Very professionally run office and staff. Rachelle his office assistant is on top of things and is very personable. Dr Kohn is conservative in his treatments and does not try to persuade you in your decision regarding your care. Dr Marvin Kohn and his staff have been a life changer for me over the last year. We attempted different options for almost a year before deciding surgery was our next step. He is a exceptional physician and I am extremely pleased with the care he and his staff have provided. My surgery went perfect as well as the care I have received after. Dr. Kohn is very knowledgeable and detailed. He ordered the correct type of X-ray for my painful basal thumb arthritis, went over the surgery step by step as well as all complications that could occur. He recommended an excellent thumb splint and who I should see for pain management. I feel secure and confident in his abilities! I'm very glad he will perform my LRTI surgery soon.

Dr. Kohn is definitely for the insurance company and what they want him to do. He was very dismissive and rude. He seems to dislike his profession and is basically more concerned with his wallet and what the insurance adjusters want him to do. HE IS NOT FOR THE PATIENT! I was in extreme pain yet he told me in a rude manner that “I know what I am doing” then proceeded to be very short with my concerns and without any tests, X-rays he put me back to work with limits. No medicine for pain. I finally had to go back to ER Dr seen the need and prescribed meds for pain with a referral to another Dr. all other drs since accident says surgery is needed to repair wrist. Dr Kohn even told me not to hit the cyst because it is over the artery in wrist. He just said light duty. This “doctor” worries more for his wallet than the patient. The insurance company is his director. Shame on him. He took an oath for the care of patients. He needs to review his reasoning for being a doctor.

Dr. Kohn is a First class physician. I went for a consult and he was very thorough and took the time to explain in detail my options for treatment.

The entire staff I met on my first visit was very friendly and professional—front desk, x-ray technician, & Dr. Kohn’s nurse. Dr. Kohn was very also very friendly. He was extremely knowledgeable about my condition. He was very thorough in explaining every aspect and how it should be treated. Also, his explanations were in terms you could understand. He took time and answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed. I left confident that I was in good hands from the staff to Dr. Kohn.

Excellent experience yesterday - staff Rachel was super efficient and a great advocate for me - got all my testing results sent to the office while I waited. Dr. Kohn is the doctor’s doctor. I am a retired surgeon with carpal tunnel syndrome and have been treated by Dr. Kohn on multiple occasions. He is a skilled, well-trained hand surgeon who provides excellent care without the interposition of a computer between him and the patient. I recommend him highly.

He may get intense on occasion but Dr Kohn knows his orthopedics! He pays very close attention to details and in my opinion this is important

I am a long time patient of Dr. Kohn and his nurse Rachel. My first surgery was a torn tendon on my little finger and two more surgeries for carpel tunnel. Their care was and always has been exceptional. My questions and concerns were also addressed. The care after each procedure was second to none. I have now needed Dr. Kohn's expertise for the second time. The first time was for bone removal in an arthritic finger. The second, and most recent time, was for a cyst and bone fragments removal in another finger. Dr. Kohn carefully explained my options, one of which was surgery. The surgery was successful and the post-op care was impeccable. Dr. Kohn is an excellent hand surgeon who I would recommend to anyone.

I recently visited Dr Kohn for a cyst on my finger. I am a previous pt of Dr Kohn 4 years ago. He did surgery on 2 of my fingers. He removed the joint out of one and put a joint replacement on the other. Both due to arthritis. He is an exceptional surgeon. 4 years later, my fingers are very functional and I have no problems with them. When this cyst came up recently, my first call was to Dr Kohn! He is professional yet kind and approachable. I can’t praise him enough!
