Dr. Gare tells you like it is and doesn’t sugarcoat it, which I really appreciate it. I would not be here today If it wasn’t for him. I’m going on the second year after my triple bypass and things are only getting better.

The front office Receptionists are very welcoming. The wait time is usually not to long. Dr. Gare has the best bedside manner in the office. He spends time with you making sure you are doing well. He is Awesome!!

Doctor Gare is an excellent Doctor. He is very intelligent, and knowledgeable. He takes all the time you need, answers all questions and explains and teaches as he does so. His immediate staff, as well as the front desk receptionists and the discharge receptionists are all great A 5 STAR rating,

Office staff was very friendly, no wait time. Dr Gare took the time to explain my situation and what his plans were. I received 2 follow up phone calls. Very happy.

Dr Gare is the best cardiologist I have encountered, he is caring, concerned about his patients health and well-being. Takes the time to listen to what you have to say, shows how much his patients mean to him .

Doctor Gaer is a top notch Dr who truly cares about his patients. For years I had a afib heart all Doctors gave medication and it's no big deal. I went to Dr. Gare he orded a EKG an a echo gram then he ordered an cardiac catheterization & found my aortic heart valve was bad and needed to be replace ASAP he then found the top heart surgeon to perform heart surgery with him and for 4 years now I been find & checks up on me every 90 days. My first visit was very impressive, Dr. Gare he listened to you keenly about your condition, and the he takes over by telling you how he's gonna deal with your condition and what your treatment plans are, he's very patient, caring, & I leave at that & see where it goes from here. Office staff is very efficient and everything runs on time like clock work. Dr. Gare is exceptionally concerned about and friendly to his patients. Dr. Gare is a brilliant clinician, and the best cardiologist I have ever met and been treated by. I highly recommend consulting him.

I was brought to Emergency at Bethesda Hospital for heart failure, This doctor saw me on consul, He berated me, Scolded me and insulted my cardiologists. I was left feeling violated and worse than when i was brought it, horrible bedside manner on this doctor

I knew Dr. Gare Meir once, he was my cardiologist at one point, had high regards for him but due to insurance change I couldn’t stay his patient . Today I had an horrible reencounter with him at JFK after being admitted for chest pain, where he scolded me, berated me and stormed out of my room saying “I am wasting my time”. Horrible bedside manners, unrecognizable from our first experience 8 years ago. Very disappointed, he was very unprofessional. Dr. Gare is one of the best doctors I've ever been to. I saw him after a TIA incident which occurred shortly before I was scheduled to move to another state. In order to make my timeline, he came in on his day off to do a procedure to find the cause of the TIA. After the procedure, he took his time explaining the outcome, and suggested which medical center to see in my new location. Dr. Gare really took his time with me. He spent over 30 minutes listening and replying during our first visit, and behaved the same way in subsequent visits. He deserves 10 stars instead of just five! Dr. Meir Gare is THE best physician and cardiologist in the world. Hand's down. Miracle-making medicine man. There is nothing to talk about. He has no equal. He is a head and shoulders above, nonpareil. He is THE best. Period. There is NOBODY quite like him. Not only is he brilliant but he also has a heart and soul, of gold, and he cares deeply. Meir Gare is a wonderful doctor. Perceptive, thorough and attentive to his patient’s needs. He answers all questions fully and never seems rushed. Always pleasant and smiling. My favorite doctor.

Takes great interest in my health and well-being. Explains clearly what can be done to maintain a good health life style.

Dr. Gare has a terrific chair side manner. He listens and carefully explains treatments, meds, and expectations in a language you can easily understand. He genuinely cares about his patients and does everything possible to help them live productive lives. He is intelligent, sensitive, caring and an all around great doctor!

Offered only platitudes, no real information, suggested with no basis in fact that patient with recent bowel surgery had peritonitis. Visited said patient in hospital every day, so will be billable hours, and seemed to be going through the motions.

This dr came into the hospital for my father. I waited all day. He DID come in but he saw my dad in RECOVERY from a procedure. He spoke to an 88 year old man coming out of anesthesia, no hearing aids in a room where family were not allowed. Dad asked him to go out and talk to his daughter - Dr. Gare said NO- the nurse can tell her. Dad has no idea what was said and we got to ask NO questions - TERRIBLE DOCTOR

This is NOT a compassionate doctor. Hence, I will NEVER recommend a doctor like him who tends to dwell on his mood and irritable attitude while dealing with patients. It is already bad enough that you are dealing with health issues. The last thing anybody need is a doctor that blame patients, rather than provide the care and compassion we all need when in distress. I have never seen a doctor walk out of patient's room while uttering the word goodbye with a tone. Unacceptable!!!
